Chanel Iman In Balmain – 2014 MTV Video Music Awards

Chanel Iman attended the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, California alongside fellow model-in-black Jourdan Dunn.

Like Jourdan, Chanel also wore Balmain selecting a heavy leather woven dress from the Fall 2014 collection.

I have just one question: what measures must one take to not perspire profusely in such a frock on a sunny day?

Aside from that, Chanel doesn’t strike me as a Balmain girl.

Had Jourdan not already worn a similar yellow sleeveless version of this Balmain frock, I would’ve suggested that they swap looks.

Large hooped onyx earrings and Casadei black leather ‘Cage’ sandals with gold hardware and the signature Blade heel rounded out her look.
