Burberry Host The XX In New York City

Burberry hosted an intimate performance by British band The XX in New York City earlier on Wednesday (March 19) at the Park Avenue Armory, inviting models and socialites who were all wearing Burberry Prorsum.

Erin Heatherton: The Victoria’s Secret model wore a Burberry Prorsum emerald-green lace off-the-shoulder dress from the Resort 2014 collection featuring a crystal-embellished waistband which made for a sophisticated and eternally elegant look. Just a pair of nude Loubies accessorized her look.

Harley Viera Newton: Working a pink-and-white look, the socialite donned a Burberry Prorsum Spring 2014 pink patterned crochet skirt, which you may remember we’ve seen on Angelababy, styled with a sheer dotted top, white pumps and a light-pink clutch. I adore the pink lip colour here, but sadly the revealing black bra snatches this away from being a BDOTW-worthy look.

Tali Lennox: The model wore a chic Burberry white frock styled with a Burberry Prorsum black-and-white striped fold-over clutch. What possessed her to wear those striped wedges with this look I will never know.

Julia Restoin Roitfeld: The socialite wore a Miu Miu Spring 2014 two-piece consisting of a crop top and high-waist pencil skirt, styled with a black Burberry coat and black pumps. While the look is chic and sexy, it’s not my favourite from this bunch.

Leigh Lezark: The DJ showcased the back of her Burberry Prorsum Resort 2014 cashmere sweater, just like in the look book. Her top was styled with black trousers and Alaïa lace-up shoes.

Karlie Kloss: Dressing for the weather and for the event, I must say I love Karlie’s look, which consisted of a to-die-for shearling coat, layered sweater–shirt combo, jeans, ankle boots and a Michael Kors bag, however, I would’ve loved to have seen her in something more dressy like her fellow models.

Was Karlie under-dressed, or was everyone else over dressed?
