Iman In Dolce & Gabbana – 17th Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards

Iman In Dolce & Gabbana - 17th Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards

Iman joined Stacy Keibler as another statuesque stunner at the 17th annual Accessories Council ACE Awards, held yesterday at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.

The modish model-cum-fashion mogul showed us the sophisticated side of sheer in a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 black, figure-fitting frock.

This was no ordinary LBD, though, with its vampy Victorian lace, dramatic dolman-inspired sleeves and ruched skirt.

Sizable statement earrings, alongside glossy waves and a crimson lip were an added touch of flair. The same cannot be said, however, for those black pumps—a mere afterthought, it seems.

You may remember that Jessica Biel wore this same dress earlier this year.

Tacky dress and styling, grandma shoes… And this blonde hair looks so weird and cheap…

I love it (except for the shoes).

The dress looks better on her than on the runway and I don’t mind the shoes, but I think that the hair should’ve been up.

SO tired of sheer. So it’s a no from me.

I prefer the runway version and styling…

      Wha???

        Hahahahahaha
Well don’t get me wrong, I don’t like the panties showing, but Iman’s version is a little bit boring and I really don’t like the shoes… Plus I am in love with that collection’s hair and make up so maybe that’s why I favour the runway XD I don’t say she looks bad or anything (quite the opposite, especially for her age!) but I like the runway drama!

I don’t really care for the dress, but Imam looks amazing!

Hahahahahaha XD Happens to all of us! (imam is actually a traditional greek-turkish dish which makes it more funny :P)

I don’t mind the shoes as there is a lot going on in the dress. I think a simple shoe was the right choice. She looks pretty.

Except for the disappointing shoes, this is a lesson in style. She looks amazing. She improves the dress, not the other way around.

    She looks good!

Jessica Biel wore the Runway version at the MTV Awards after party.

this is the first time I’m actually loving one of those sheer Dolce dresses. She looks amazing! The sleeves are really standing out here. Hair and makeup are flawless

She looks sensational! The dress looks so much better on her than it did as presented. Agreed on the shoes, though.

    • KatieKate November 6, 2013 at 2:31 am #

Totally agreed! How does Iman do it?! She manages to make this dress look 10 x sexier and more beautiful than a model half, or maybe one third her age! She is a goddes. Point bank, period!
