2013 Style Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2013 Style Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick look at some of the other attendees at the 2013 Style Awards hosted by Nicole Richie at the Lincoln Center in New York City yesterday evening.

Anna Cleveland: The model, who is always featured in Zac Posen’s look books and takes the runway at his shows, wore a stunning strapless gown from his Pre-Fall 2013 collection. The raspberry floral gown has a lot going on, but the reason why he loves her is because she makes even the most complicated look work.

Chanel Iman: Following her look at the Michael Kors event, I’m really disappointed by this Emilio Pucci white gown on the model as I find it to be totally lifeless; it does nothing for her. The only thing I feel when looking at this outfit is uncomfortable.

Lily Aldridge: She was also at the Michael Kors event and, unlike Chanel Iman, she kept the good vibes going wearing a Louis Vuitton 60s-style black sequin dress with white detailing, opting for extremely pointy bow-front LV pumps and glossy tresses.

Trish Summerville: The winner of the Costume Designer of the Year for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’, couldn’t have picked a more perfect and dramatic look to collect her award. She wore an Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 paneled velvet and crepe dress inspired by religious ceremonial attire with a beautiful laser-cut detail in the skirt. The costume designer appears to share her love for McQueen with The Hunger Games actress Elizabeth Banks who wears pieces from past McQueen collections in the movie. You may remember that Naomi Campbell wore this same dress earlier this year.

Rachel Zoe: The stylish fashion mogul, who is celebrating the news that she’s going to be bringing another fashionable child into the world, wore a bump-concealing strapless embellished Valentino Fall 2013 gown in her favourite colour: black. Congrats to the Zoe-Berman family.

Ariana Grande: The young star was one of the few who broke the black dress code, wearing a cute strapless Kenley Collins custom-made frock in her favourite fit-and-flare silhouette styled with nude YSL clunky pumps and Tiffany & Co. jewels.
