Inauguration Of King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands Party

Royals Party

Many other royals joined Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned of Qatar to watch the water pageant to celebrate the inauguration of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands after the abdication of his mother Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Princess Mabel of Orange-Nassau: The princess was three for three when it came to her designer of choice: Viktor & Rolf. Her dual-colour white-and-pink gown from the designers’ Spring 2013 collection featured yet another bow, this time at the waist. If this dress feels familiar, it’s because US Marie Claire editor Zanna Roberts Rassi wore it during E’s pre-Oscar red carpet coverage.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden: Aside from her first Elie Saab purple number, the princess has stuck to a fairly neutral colour palette. On this occasion, she added a cropped fur jacket to a dazzling gold gown styled with metallic-gold pumps and a matching clutch.

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark: Standing out in red, the princess wore a red Jesper Høvring long-sleeved gown with a beautiful tiered skirt. Ruby Parure earrings and a bouffant updo completed her look. This gown is a repeat; the princess first wore it during her wedding celebrations back in 2012.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway: A mint-green gown capped Princess Mette-Marit’s trio of looks this week. The Valentino gown was clearly the stand-out piece, but I prefer her Giambattista Valli and this ethereal gown.

Princess Mabel, Princess Victoria and Princess Mary all look stunning!

I love Mary’s dress! However, it can’t have been a repeat from *her* wedding celebrations if it was in 2012. Mary was married in 2004.

Came here to say this, too 🙂

Mabel stands out for me here, lovely!

From what I can see, I think I would have prefered at least some of the bling Mary wore the first time around.

Princess Mabel is my favourite here, so simple, clean and refreshing and well-styled.
Nice to finally see Mette-Marit looking like a beautiful woman that she is, so fresh and romantic. this is my fave look from her. She looked way too frumpy and old in her G.Valli.

Not wowed by any of these looks. They were doing much better at the earlier events.

I enjoy all thee looks. Mabel looks serenely elegant in her dress. The diamonds with Mary dress it’s first outing jazzed it up even more. The Giambattista Valli, then the Valentino was my order of favourite of Mette’s gowns.
This royal weekend has been more interesting fashion wise than half of this year hollywood awards season.

do you have any details on Princess Marry’s shoe, it looks stunning ?

I think Prada could be a safe bet. It’s got a similar silhouette to a lot of her other shoes – almond toe and no platform. She’s a big Prada fan, so that’s my guess.

Crown Princess Victorias gown is from the Jenny Packham Spring 2013 collection.

Mabel finally got it right I’m so happy 😀 This dress reminds me of her wedding dress, not in the shape but her dress was a V&R with many bows on it!

I also love Mette’s look, so effortless in a way but still stunning 😀

They all look enchanting, but Princess Mary is my favourite again. I loved all of her looks during these events.
