2013 MTV Movie Awards Menswear Round Up
We’ve seen Eddie Redmayne, so here are some more dudes who attended the 2013 MTV Movie Awards in LA on Sunday.
Macklemore: The rapper, who performed at this event, stood out on this red carpet. Not just because he opted for an electric-blue slim-fit suit: more likely, he stood out for the OTT gold fringed Logan Neitzel matador-style cape he wore it with. Without the cape this was a BDOTW contender.
Jamie Foxx: Picking up the ‘Best WTF Moment’ award for ‘Candieland Gets Smoked’ in ‘Django Unchained’ and the highest honour, the ‘MTV Generation’ award, Jamie made a touching tribute by honouring the memory of Trayvon Martin with a t-shirt bearing his face with the words “Know Justice, Know Peace”.
Zachary Quinto: Blue suits were clearly all the rage at this event. The ‘Star Trek’ actor, who was on co-presenting duties with Zoe Saldana, wore a light-blue notched-lapel suit with grey lace-up shoes. We have seen many pants that are too long; on this occasion, they were too short. Like Goldilocks, I am looking for a pair which are just right.
Bradley Cooper: Like Amanda Seyfried, Bradley skipped the MTV Movie Awards red carpet. The actor collected his ‘Best Male Performance’ award wearing a casual look consisting of a navy bomber jacket and olive slacks. Signature shaggy hair completed his look.
Skylar Astin: While looking very dapper in his navy grosgrain peak lapel, Z Zegna tuxedo with pants of a perfect length, I feel bad for saying that the actor/singer is a tad overdressed for this occasion.
