Cameron Silver In Joseph Abboud & Andrea Pompilio

A Week In Cameron Silver's Closet

Menswear mogul and owner of Decades in Los Angeles Cameron Silver was seen sporting two very different looks on Tuesday.

The first came at an event where Gemfields and W Magazine celebrated the launch of Gemfields’ new brand ambassador, Mila Kunis, at Soho House in West Hollywood.

At the first event, Cameron sported a Joseph Abboud grey windowpane suit with a Brook Brothers shirt, which is very conservative for Cameron.  If you don’t believe me, just see what he wore to the ‘Trevor Live’ event and the 2012 Met Gala.

To make his outfit pop, Cameron added a Gucci leopard-print hat, a Charvet multi-coloured tie, and Alexis Mabille purple suede shoes.

The second look was at an event in Los Angeles, celebrating Elizabeth Taylor’s magnificent collection of BVLGARI jewelry.

Cameron was in head-to-toe Andrea Pompilio with a Fendi coat.  It was all accented with his now-blonde hair.  In the past year, his hair colour has changed from black to silver to blonde.

His experience in menswear has led to a new job: Cameron will be seen on his new show, ‘Dukes of Melrose’, which premieres March 6 at 10:30 ET on Bravo.

I don’t like his style–too out there. And both these looks are messes.

i loved, loved cameron’s trevor live look — i like these ones less though. the first look i think has one too many elements — take away the hat or tie, or match the purple in the tie to his shoes and i think it’ll be a bit more streamlined. the second look, i love everything about bar the shirt. the shirt kind of seems like an afterthought — it doesn’t really work with anything else.

1st look- I’m not a fan of that hat and the tie was a too busy with the rest the rest of look but I do like the suit and the purple shoes are snazzy.
2nd look- Take the coat away and a different pair of shoes and I’d like the look.

Mr Silver takes risks and more often than most he succeeds
He also dicovers new designers seasons before it hits Barneys

Cameron Silver looks amazing!!! He is a breath of fresh air, very innovative and a true connoisseur of the art of dressing. He has a book and tv show just because he is so fashion savvy. So he definitely knows what he’s doing when it comes to putting an outfit together.
He looks amazing in both outfits. And yes, blondes do have more fun!!!

i am sorry for all you negative people because you seem to not understand that dressing up is supposed to be fun! Don’t hate it just because you can not afford it!! Cameron is inspiring and seems to have fun with clothes! LOVE

On the one hand, I can’t complain about the nausea-inducing uniformity and lack of intrigue in menswear and then complain about Cameron. While it’s not my taste, at least he is doing something different and hopefully inspiring others to do the same.

Silly mess, neither look is working for me, this is playfully tasteless in my book.
