Sonam Kapoor In Prabal Gurung – “Mausam” Mumbai Premiere

Sonam Kapoor attended the “Mausam” Premiere at Big Imax Cinemas in Mumbai last night.

The pretty Indian actress wore a Prabal Gurung Resort 2012 ensemble.

I’ve featured Sonam many times in dark colours, so I’m thankful to see her wearing something colourful for a refreshing change.

Her look consisted of an acid pink bow-tie blouse with a black laser-cut polka-dot flounced ball skirt.

I think this is a very daring look for Sonam and I’m happy to see her break out of her comfort zone on this occasion because I was starting to wonder what all the fuss was about.

I have a feeling it won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I’m interested to see more of her in the future if she continues to switch things up.

A black Swarovski clutch and Sunita Kapoor earrings completed her look.

Sonam Kapoor In Elie Saab Couture – Akshay Kumar’s Speedy Singh Bash

Sonam Kapoor attended a dinner hosted by her co-star Akshay Kumar in honour of Camilla Belle who is currently in India to promote her new movie, “Breakaway”.

The Indian beauty wore a beautiful Elie Saab Couture Spring 2012 dress.

Her strapless embroidered dress had a black pencil skirt and a dove grey bodice. A cropped sleeveless jacket with bold shoulders added a chic touch to her look.

Sonam opted for black accessories which included D&G pumps and a signature Bottega Veneta clutch.

This is a beautiful look for Sonam.

It was event-appropriate and, whilst it’s Couture, she didn’t try to upstage the guest of honour.

Sonam Kapoor In Collette Dinnigan – “Mausam” Promotion

Sonam Kapoor is currently promoting her new movie, “Mausam.”

She opted to wear a Collette Dinnigan Fall 2011 dress to the event with Giorgio Armani ballet flats and Sunita A Kapoor earrings.

Her black embroidered dress is exquisite but doesn’t have the same volume in the skirt from the runway, plus the dress feels really heavy for summer.

I could’ve been forced to overcome my feelings about the heavy summertime dress had she worn some strappy sandals.

Flats on the red carpet fail to excite me, but her glossy mane and red lips are perfection.

I would’ve loved to have seen her in something more colourful and vibrant.

Sonam Kapoor In The Row – Taj Express Musical Premiere

Sonam Kapoor attended Shruti Merchant’s Taj Express Musical Premiere, which took place on Sunday at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) in Mumbai.

The L’Oreal ambassador wore The Row Pre-Fall 2011.

An ivory semi-sheer blouse with an embellished Peter Pan collar was teamed with black wide-legged pants.

Her accessories included a red Prada clutch, black Christian Louboutin patent pumps, a Cartier watch and Sunita A Kapoor stud earrings.

Whilst I love the blouse, I would’ve liked to have seen her tapered pants.

L’Oreal Paris AISHA Event – Sonam Kapoor In Prabal Gurung

Yesterday L’Oreal Paris unveiled the “L’Oreal Paris AISHA look” at ‘DLF Emporio’ a luxury mall in New Delhi, India.

Sonam Kapoor, a L’Oreal Paris’ brand ambassador and one of India’s most popular stars looked stunning at the event.

The Indian beauty glowed wearing a Prabal Gurung Spring 2010 electric blue dress with a draped shoulder.

Hopefully a full length picture will become available at some point, as I’m dying to see what shoes she wore with this dress.

You may not know who Sonam Kapoor is, but she’s a huge star in Indian, so this is a huge deal for a young designer like Prabal Gurung who’s continuing to grow his brand so congrats to him.

Dasha Zhukova also wore this same dress earlier this year.

The Royal Rajasthan Gala – Elizabeth Hurley In Roberto Cavalli Couture

Jaws were no doubt dropping on the red carpet at the “Royal Rajasthan Gala Charity Auction Dinner” organised to raise funds for Indian head injury foundation in Mumbai, India this week.

That’s because British actress Elizabeth Hurley looked amazing wearing a Roberto Cavalli Couture gown.

Her teal silk chiffon plunging gown was beaded plus it had crystal strap details.

She accessorized her gown with oversized diamond hoop earrings and silver clutch.

As much as this look is nothing new for Liz – this picture could’ve been taken 20 years ago – you can’t deny that she looks amazing.
