Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Julianna Margulies In Reed Krakoff - 2013 Emmy Awards

Julianna Margulies also attended the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards, held this evening at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a white Reed Krakoff draped, column gown that was accented with the winding branch of an ink-black, vine-like print. It was also a smidge too long, puddling on the red carpet beneath her.

While the dark pattern on the crisp-white dress could almost seem a bit sinister, Julianna took a carefree approach to her hair and makeup with a casually loose ponytail and a glossy pink lip.

Rather minimal Fred Leighton jewels completed her monochromatic entrance.

Michelle Dockery In Prada - 2013 Emmy Awards

Michelle Dockery captivated on the red carpet for tonight’s 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress captured my attention in a ravishing, two-tone Prada gown in ruby-red duchesse satin and burgundy silk radzmire.

The halter-style, low-back bustier top was fashionably fastened at the back of the neck with a striking bow-like detail, which was only complemented by the flowing skirt that swept into a train from its slightly raised hemline at the front.

She accessorized the ensemble quite seamlessly with black satin, double-strap heels accented with red crystals and a complementary red jewelled clutch, both also by Prada, with Fred Leighton jewels finishing off the dynamic, colour-block look.

Mindy Kaling

Mindy Kaling looked chic on the red carpet at the 2013 Emmy Awards.

The funny lady wore a Edition by Georges Chakra gown and a Jerome C. Rousseau ‘Jem’ clutch.

I adore everything about this look. The short-sleeves are a great change from the typical strapless and sleeveless gowns we see on the red carpet, and the jeweled neckline is stunning.

The loose updo and purple smokey eyes are perfection.

Do you love this as much as I do?

Jessica Pare In Oscar de la Renta - 2013 Emmy Awards

Jessica Pare was also at the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards, held this evening at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

After wearing an Oscar de la Renta look at a few pre-Emmy parties, the ‘Mad Men’ actress stuck with the designer and gave us a thrilling glimpse at Oscar’s Spring 2014 collection.

Her turquoise-blue ball-gown featured an exaggerated, sculpted bodice and high-low hemline, which she let take centre stage, only accessorizing with pendant earrings and black Oscar de la Renta ‘Melissa’ sandals.

While Jessica’s pretty pink lippie added a nice contrast, the black shoes wouldn’t have been my first choice, and I would have selected a more dynamic statement earring as seen on the runway.

Anna Faris

Anna Faris created quite the bright spot on the 2013 Emmy Awards red carpet.

The actress wore a beautifully draped Monique Lhuillier Resort 2014 gown.

To accompany the retro-inspired look, Anna opted for thick bangs and 50s-inspired waves and a classic red lip and black cat eye.

Carrie Underwood In Romona Keveza - 2013 Emmy Awards

Carrie Underwood will be performing at the 2013 Emmy Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening.

She took to the red carpet wearing a Romona Keveza Fall 2013 strapless amethyst silk shantung taffeta gown featuring a sculpted bodice and ballgown skirt that she accented with a black waistband.

I’m not surprised to see the singer wearing one of the biggest gowns of the night, but I am surprised at how much I love it, as I often find her looks to be a tad cheesy.

Carrie styled her look with diamond jewels and side-swept tresses without a hint of pageant queen.

Like Blake Lively and Kate Bosworth, I noticed that Carrie is rocking a darker blonde hue. Is this a fall trend?
