Katie Holmes In Zac Posen – 2017 Met Gala

Katie Holmes glided forth with an elegance of form at the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) in New York City.

Avant-garde it may not have been, but her Zac Posen Fall 2017 gown oozed of old Hollywood glamour done up in sculptural proportions.

A celebration of the feminine form, the deep-teal, mermaid design even featured the rippling of textural waves through the skirt and train.

The sophisticated drama was only increased by her decision to wear it in an off-the-shoulder style.

Harper’s Bazaar 150th Anniversary Celebration

Harper’s Bazaar hosted its 150th Anniversary Party, presented with Tiffany & Co., on Wednesday (April 19) in New York City, where a number of the magazine’s favourite faces came out to celebrate.

Iman: I love how the supermodel’s Brandon Maxwell Spring 2017 jumpsuit was enhanced by a satin-accented, floor-sweeping train for extra drama on this special night. Plus, the olive colourway was stunning on her.

Kelsea Ballerini In Zac Posen – 2017 Symphony Fashion Show

Country music star Kelsea Ballerini performed at the 2017 Symphony Fashion Show, featuring Zac Posen confections, on Tuesday (April 18) in Nashville, Tennessee.

Before taking the stage, the singer was on the red carpet in a Zac Posen Spring 2017 gown in homage to the designer of the hour.

A youthfully girly side of glamour came forth in this embroidered, iridescent design with an architecturally layered skirt that ethereally floated away from the body.

A rather precious fairy moment—some might say twee—it was fitting for Kelsea’s rendition of ‘Peter Pan,’ which closed out the event.

Rose McIver In Rebecca Taylor & Zac Posen – SiriusXM & Build Series Presents: ‘iZombie’

Rose McIver visited the SiriusXM Studios in New York City last week on Thursday (March 30) before making an appearance on the Build Series Presents: ‘iZombie’ on Friday (March 31).

SiriusXM
: Spring has definitely sprung for the starlet who was delightful in this phlox blossom-printed Rebecca Taylor frock. I love the rosy array of colours on her, and that she opted for a dark pink sandal to echo a shade in the dress.

Build Series Presents: ‘iZombie’: Her second look, a Zac Posen ensemble, had her playfully combining ladylike charm with a sportif spirit.

Katie Holmes In Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini & Zac Posen – Good Morning America & The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Katie Holmes made the NYC rounds to talk about reprising her role as Jacqueline Kennedy for the new mini-series, ‘The Kennedys: After Camelot.’ She stopped by ‘Good Morning America’ on Wednesday (March 29) before heading to ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ later that day.

‘Good Morning America’: I don’t know if it was her sleek, wavy ponytail or the light wispiness of her Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini Spring 2017 lace-accented, handkerchief dress, but this innocently romantic statement from Katie struck me as a breath of fresh air. Tamara Mellon ‘Frontline’ nude sandals were a perfectly nude counterpart that paired effortlessly with the look.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: Wearing the same Tamara Mellon sandals and high ponytail, she fully indulged a charmingly retro sensibility in this Zac Posen Fall 2017 off-the-shoulder printed frock that she wore in equally sophisticated form.

Leslie Mann In Zac Posen – 2017 Oscars

Leslie Mann was also at the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood, California.

There’s no question that vivacious colour on the red carpet, such as this chartreuse hue, makes a striking impact—especially when rendered in voluminous quantity.

Despite the rather outsized proportions of this Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2017 gown with its mega-pouf, parachute skirt that could easily look deflated, she managed it with radiance and a smile.

Yet, still that sea of fabric can be a challenge to wade through, leaving something to be desired. Sometimes dresses are better left to the lookbook.

Thoughts?
