Maggie Q In Zac Posen – 16th Annual Unforgettable Gala

Maggie Q looked regal at the 16th Annual Unforgettable Gala on Saturday (December 9) in Beverly Hills, California.

When I saw the actress in this Zac Posen Spring 2018 gown, I was immediately struck by how the rich forest green colour enlivened her complexion.

It’s a shame that the fabric didn’t work more successfully in the construction of the dress. The pulls around the waist and hips plus the bunching flared skirt bring down the romance of the style.

The fit of the upper bodice worked better, particularly with the surprise pop of shamrock green in the plunging neckline.

Her ornate pearl earring was a delightful addition that paired perfectly with her hair and the gown.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum & Jennifer Meyer’s Gilt.com Jewelry Launch Benefitting Baby2Baby

Jennifer Meyer and Jenna Dewan-Tatum launched an exclusive jewelry collection benefitting Baby2Baby with Gilt.com on Thursday (December 7) in West Hollywood, California.

Jennifer Meyer: The jewerly designer kept things simple in a asymmetrical LBD and a few delicate pieces from her own collection.

Kate Hudson: I adore Kate’s Preen Spring 2018 two piece look, as it’s a celebration of all that I love about the London-based brand: colourful floral print, ruffles and levels of asymmetry. I just wish she had opted for a sandal.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum: This fitted pink dress from Zac Posen makes the ultimate feminine statement with its intricate embroidered accents and a figure-enhancing fluted hem. Silver Giuseppe Zanotti sandals dazzle as brightly as her co-designed Jennifer Meyer jewels.

Nicole Richie In Zac Posen – 2017 Kennedy Center Honors

Nicole Richie looked regal at the 40th Kennedy Center Honors event on Sunday (December 3) in Washington, DC.

The ‘Great News’ actress’s signature bohemian style was given a black tie twist courtesy of this Zac Posen Spring 2018 gown.

The silvery blue top layer tempered the dramatic floral embroidery and gave the directional cut a timeless quality.

I would have loved to see this in motion to get a better sense of the contrasting lining on the train.

Secondly, I wish it was tailored ever so slightly as it feels a little big in the bodice.

2017 amfAR generationCURE Holiday Party

As the festive season ramps up, the 2017 amfAR generationCURE Holiday Party was held on Friday (December 1) in New York City with a trio of style setters in attendance.

Kat Graham: Rather than wear her pinstripes via the suiting trend, Kat opted for a deconstructed edge in this Valentin Yudashkin Fall 2017 dress. As per, I have mixed feelings about the semi-visible illusion panels, but I like this directional play on the traditional menswear fabric.

Sailor Brinkley Cook: This golden-nude Zac Posen Resort 2018 gown brought a whiff of an art-deco-inspired glamour. But, I was left with the feeling that something was unfinished—and also that the bodice was a bit on the snug side. Perhaps a statement earring and a bold lip would have rallied to the cause.

Olivia Culpo: Olivia can always be counted on to have a bit of fun with fashion, and this Ermanno Scervino Fall 2017 bustier party frock and its explosion of organza fit the bill. Both Amal Clooney and Kate Beckinsale have worn the dress before, so I was having several moments of déjà vu, but it still retained its charms on its third time out.

‘Pitch Perfect 3’ Sydney Premiere

Rebel Wilson, Ruby Rose, Brittany Snow and Anna Camp attended the Sydney premiere of ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ on Wednesday (November 29) Australia.

Rebel Wilson: The actress wore a Zac Posen for 11 Honoré red jacquard fit and flare dress which was as bright and fun-loving as her personality.

Ruby Rose: Returning home, the Australian actress opted for a more dark and seductive look courtesy of Rubin Singer. The flocked velvet gown which hails from the Resort 2017 collection, was styled with John Hardy jewels and Jimmy Choo ‘Macy’ pumps. I wouldn’t say this was her best look, as I prefer her more androgynous styles.

Brittany Snow: This Johanna Ortiz Fall 2017 cut-out jumpsuit makes it second appearance on the red carpet following Nicole Scherzinger. Opting for a trousered look definitely ensured Brittany stood out, along with that ruby red lip.

Anna Camp: While her co-stars went bright, edgy and sleek. Anna did what she always does best; present us with the most gorgeous dress to elevate her bubbly personality. On this occasion she donned a Luisa Beccaria Resort 2018 floral gown which may go against the grain here, but it’s BDOTW worthy for me.

2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Many modes of so-called glamour were represented at the 2017 Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Monday (November 13) in Brooklyn, New York. Here’s a look at some of the other femmes in attendance.

Sailor Brinkley: Simple seduction was precisely what this ZAC Zac Posen Resort 2018 sequin slip gown was all about—with Sailor’s romantic ringlets to follow form.

Yolanda Hadid: For Yolanda, an LBD meant a long black dress in this Akris gown that smartly hinted at seduction in the keyhole detail and side slit.

Sofia Coppola: Fresh and snappy, this Michael Kors Collection Resort 2018 floral frock brought a boldly printed twist to Sofia’s comfortable, no-nonsense style.

Paris Jackson In Zac Posen -mothers2mothers Event

Paris Jackson joined Heidi Klum at the mothers2mothers event on Tuesday (October 24) in Beverly Hills, California.

The model has developed a reputation as being a bit of a wildcard on the red carpet as she can go from a punk-inspired ensemble one day to a bohemian look the next. Paris opted for the latter this time around with a Zac Posen Resort 2018 dress.

The young starlet looked radiant in the maxi style. The balloon sleeves and off-the-shoulder neckline drew the attention up to her face. She played up the boho flair with multiple bracelets and necklaces.

Some have been less than keen on her previous outfits, but this is a direction I like seeing Paris experiment with. It appears very effortless and in keeping with who she is.
