Nicole Kidman In Valentino – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Nicole Kidman looked radiant on the red carpet for the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California, where she was awarded Best Actress in a Movie Made for TV or a Limited Series for ‘Big Little Lies’.

The actress gave us a sneak peek at the upcoming Valentino Fall 2018 collection wearing this hot pink creation by Pierpaolo Piccioli.

I love the sense of romance which is enhanced by the delicate ruffles and the semi-sheer fabrication, but it the unexpected bold colour which really captivated me.

René Caovilla sandals and Fred Leighton jewels completed her look.

Angelina Jolie In Valentino – The National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala

Angelina Jolie joined Julianna Margolies, Saoirse Ronan, and Lupita Nyong’o for The National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala on Tuesday (January 9) in New York City.

Wearing one of her favoured hues, she cut a softly stunning profile in a black Valentino gown that was specially designed for her by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli.

I love how the lace cape overlay added a moment of subtle allure and movement to the conservative femininity of the design.

Her natural beauty look radiated all the more with her minimalist approach to styling.

2018 Golden Globe Awards Parties

The 2018 Golden Globe Awards were a study in many glamorous renditions of the colour black. And, for the most part, the Globes after parties followed suit with the hue taking on all measures of late-night allure.

Diane Kruger: After a regally glamorous entrance at the Globes, Diane was at the InStyle and Warner Bros. post-party, where she imbued black, cropped trousers with a bit of creamy lace in this Alexander McQueen Spring 2018 ensemble. I have a feeling that the tattered, asymmetrical effect of the lace bustier top will turn some away from the more experimental look.

Tessa Thompson: At HBO’s official after party in LA, Tessa suited up in an Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2017 Couture menswear-inspired look that delivered plenty of intriguing edge when styled with the MATEO jewelry and bauble-accented sandals. I was happy for the sheer shirting underneath to balance the boxier shape of the tuxedo blazer.

Nina Dobrev: The actress flaunted her toned abs at the InStyle party in this Ralph Lauren cutout gown. Even with the futuristic liquid-silver paneling, something about the look read a bit dated. Alexis Bittar choker completed her look.

Lily James In Valentino Couture – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Lily James was also at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California, debuting a new blunt bang for her strawberry-blonde locks.

Like Kate Hudson, Lily wore a Valentino Fall 2017 Couture design. But, her look couldn’t have been more different in its approach to the evening’s glamour.

First of all, lining the gown created a more conservative statement for the wealth of ruffles that covered the design.

I am glad that she kept her styling on the simple side, accenting her bun with a Jennifer Behr bobby pin. Otherwise, I do think that all those ruffles could have been a bit overbearing.

Kate Hudson In Valentino Couture – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Bringing the sheer trend straight away into 2018, Kate Hudson attended the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

The black dress code did not keep the actress from exploring her seductive side in this Valentino Fall 2017 Couture lattice gown.

It’s not as if she needed help to drive attention to the plunge neckline, but her glamorous diamond pendant necklace certainly did the trick.

Yay or nay?

Jenna Coleman In Valentino – ‘Victoria’ Season 2 New York Premiere

Jenna Coleman looked lovely in lilac at the ‘Victoria’ Season 2 premiere on Tuesday (December 12) in New York City.

The English actress merged modern details with a nod to Victoriana with her high-necked Valentino Resort 2018 dress.

There’s a charm about the ensemble with the pastel colour adding a sweet softness to the minimalist style.

Her black sandals and dark nail polish grounded the look, while bringing out her rich brunette mane.

Sharon Stone In Valentino – 75th Annual Golden Globe Nominations Announcement

Sharon Stone joined Kristen Bell to deliver the 75th Annual Golden Globe nominations announcement on Monday (December 11) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress looked timelessly elegant in a Valentino Spring 2017 dress. I can hear many applauding her decision to wear a coordinating slip under the style as it presented a refined finish.

I loved the rich combination of the vivid red against the royal purple shoes, but would have preferred a single sole heel as the chunky platforms feel disjointed.
