Rashida Jones In Valentino – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Rashida Jones offered up a relaxed-glam approach for the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

Her Valentino Spring 2018 dress relied on its painterly print to make the primary impact.

But I found myself distinctly missing the additional bib detail from the runway, as without it, the gown seemed a bit unfinished and quite casual.

I also was craving a bit more shape to what I would classify as a rather bohemian look for the Oscars parties.

But, I do love her pretty styling with her breezy, effortless bun and striking earrings.

Maya Rudolph In Valentino – 2018 Oscars

Maya Rudolph walked the red carpet of the 2018 Oscars on Sunday (March 4) in Los Angeles.

The presenter wore a unexpected Valentino gown with Irene Neuwirth earrings.

When I first saw images of this dress, I really didn’t understand the look, but after seeing it ‘in action’ on the stage during the show, it totally made sense as a gown, and as a part of Maya’s unique approach to fashion.

The earrings are unexpected and spectacular, and honestly, I really do love this whole look. Better late than never?

Gabrielle Union In Valentino – Piaget Celebrates Independent Film with The Art of Elysium

Piaget celebrated Independent Film with The Art of Elysium on Friday (March 2) in Los Angeles, California with Gabrielle Union.

Her free-spirited Valentino Spring 2018 has an ease about it that feels both refreshing and bold, with the taupe colour looking so buttery against her skin.

I love that even when the ‘Being Mary Jane’ actress goes down a boho, romantic route, it still has an edge.

Claire Foy In Valentino – ‘Unsane’ Berlinale International Film Festival Premiere

Claire Foy stepped out at the ‘Unsane’ Berlinale International Film Festival premiere on Wednesday (February 21) in Berlin, Germany.

‘The Crown’ actress evoked a starry night sky with her Valentino Pre-Fall gown.

The sequined appliqués and gossamer fabric have a whimsical charm, but the dark colour palette adds a moody elegance.

The wrap style was cinched at the waist with a black velvet ribbon which contributed to the darkly romantic sentiment.

Her red lipstick added some colour.

Did you mind the sheer fabric?

Alba Rohrwacher In Valentino, Prada & Valentino Couture – Berlinale International Film Festival

Italian actress Alba Rohrwacher is currently in Germany, where she is promoting ‘Daughter of Mine’ (Figlia Mia) and ‘3 Days in Quiberon’ during the Berlinale International Film Festival.

‘Daughter of Mine’ Photocall:  Cut to a boyfriend fit, this Pre-Fall 2018 look takes her tailored style to the next level, oozing simple elegance. Valentino has always been one of her go-to brands, and the union continues to be a fruitful one.

‘Daughter of Mine’ Premiere: You maybe surprise to learn that this custom leather blue gown is by Prada, as their recent red carpet gowns tend to veer on the uber girlie side with embellishments and feather appliqués. I love how this feels daring for Alba. The long silhouette enhances her statuesque frame, while the cut and open back keeps the look razor-sharp and modern. Delfina Delettrez jewels completed the look.

‘3 Days in Quiberon’ Premiere: Returning to her first love: Valentino, the actress opted to borrow from the boys again, this time opting for a look from the Spring 2018 Couture collection. While the look was perfectly suited to her minimalist style, I was longing for a bit more in the makeup department on this occasion.
