Models @ The 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

It was all cheekbones and centre-partings as models descended on the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5) in New York City.

Bella Hadid: The model is a fan of flashing flesh but kept it sophisticated in this blazer-style dress from Off-White Fall 2017. Top marks for the flared sleeves and retro full fringe. We’ll ignore the pale pink lunch bag style clutch.

Maye Musk: I do love the humour and personality in this Rosie Assoulin Spring 2017 dress. It’s unashamedly extroverted and doesn’t apologise for its bling accessories courtesy of Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry.

Karen Elson: Ah, red and green a hallowed combination that almost never goes wrong. Unfortunately, the tried and tested combo falls short here. The Anna Sui Fall 2017 dress is a confusing array of frills, draping, and puff sleeves. Combined with heavy shoes, this look is overwhelmingly bad.

Teresa Palmer In Tory Burch – ‘Berlin Syndrome’ Build Series

Teresa Palmer attended the Build Series in New York City on Tuesday (May 30), where she discussed the ‘Berlin Syndrome.’

Her Tory Burch ‘Rylie’ jacket from the Pre-Fall 2017 collection featured a boho-beautiful sensibility along with an array of beaded floral embellishment.

I just wish her styling had lived up to the occasion, with the primary problem being the long white T-shirt. Tucking it in or wearing a shorter top would have gone a long way to streamline the look.

Heels would have also helped elevate and elongate the silhouette, but her Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ flats were still plenty chic to fit the more relaxed, free-spirited mood.

Tory Burch Celebrates Regent Street Boutique Opening

The Tory Burch Regent Street boutique celebrated its grand opening on Monday (May 22) in London with designer Tory Burch and a number of other TB-clad beauties in attendance.

Elizabeth Olsen: After an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, Elizabeth jetted over to England to celebrate the new store. I loved the easy-going, boho spirit she was serving in this Tory Burch Pre-Fall 2017 paisley dress. This is a dress that is the perfect companion to breezy beach nights.

Diane Kruger: Diane made a sophisticated showing in a Tory Burch Fall 2017 jumpsuit paired with a silk TB-emblazoned blouse and the decorative addition of a Tory Burch embroidered ‘Darcy’ bag. It was her light-blue-rimmed eyes that added an additional cool-girl touch to the tailored ensemble.

Chanel Iman: Chic and effortless, this Pre-Fall 2017 shirt-dress got a bold kick from its borrowed-from-the-boys stripes. Yet, the short length and stilettos made up for it in casual allure.

Kate Bosworth In Tory Burch and Christopher Kane – LAX

Kate Bosworth was seen at LAX with Michael Polish by her side on Wednesday (May 3).

I always love to see airport-chic looks, especially when stars carefully balance comfort with first-class style.

And, I would say that’s exactly what Kate did here with the relaxed, lounge-wear spirit of a Tory Burch Pre-Fall 2017 top and pants in a lovely shade of periwinkle blue.

A Christopher Kane Spring 2017 frosted leopard coat was an eclectic addition while certainly guarding against any cooler drafts, with ballet flats and a retro version of aviator shades rounding out the look.

Zoey Deutch In Tory Burch – 2017 Met Gala

Zoey Deutch attended the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) in New York City.

Being the yang to Kate Bosworth’s yin, the actress wore a Tory Burch white dress which was very clean and chic so all the focus was drawn to the flared exaggerated flounce sleeves.

Making a further statement with her enameled disk earrings, I will guess you prefer this over Kate’s look which didn’t get much love.

Kate Bosworth In Tory Burch – 2017 Met Gala

Kate Bosworth dialed up the fashion drama at the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1).

She actress wore a black Tory Burch gown with plenty of volume and structural elements.

I am typically obsessed with Kate’s style choices, but this one, I can’t get 100% behind. While I’m fairly certain there are some pretty cool design elements at work with this dress, the fabric and color simply don’t translate well to images, and I honestly can’t tell.

And while having a moment in-person is of course important, how a gown photographs is equally as important, and this reads quite flat–even in the face of so much apparent texture.

As for her beauty styling, no one pulls off a completely sleeked back bun quite like Kate, and her radiant skin, coral eyeshadow and bold raspberry lips are a dream–and the perfect look for a black gown.
