Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

While some editors and models were headed to London for round two of fashion month, Anna Wintour, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls headed west for the Tom Ford Fall 2015 show which was showcased in LA on Friday (February 20).

The result, a packed A-List front row of which nineteen looks have been featured.

With the Oscars on Sunday and with everyone in town, it was quite a master-stroke to host the show in LA this weekend.

Julianne Moore: The actress was no doubt top of the guest list working a Spring 2015 green ensemble festooned with feathers, sequins and camo print. I would not bet against Julianne wearing Tom Ford on Sunday despite the Givenchy run up.

Gwyneth Paltrow: I expected a bit more from Gwynie. This cold shoulder Pre-Fall 2015 LBD feels a bit been there done that and boring for such an occasion.

The Carters: He was looking mighty dapper in a signature wide lapel suit, while she was looking bootylicious in a typically sheer embellished Spring 2014 creation.

Nicki Minaj In Tom Ford - 2015 Grammy Awards

Nicki Minaj was also at the 2015 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 8) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Fully flaunting her cleavage, the entertainer worked a plunging, hourglass silhouette in a Tom Ford black gown with a long, glittery fringe skirt.

Her main accessory of the evening was clearly her twins.

The Jacob & Co. jewels, including a set of matching bangles, were secondary yet still striking, while a smoldering smoky eye and nude lip and long straight locks, teased at the crown of her head, finished the sultry, sophisticated look.

Julianne Moore In Tom Ford - 2015 BAFTAs

Julianne Moore attended the 2015 BAFTAs held at The Royal Opera House on Sunday (February 8) in London, England.

The actress wore one of her favourite designers, Tom Ford. He created this red part velvet, part crepe dress with a plunging neckline and collar design styled with Chopard jewels.

I love how Tom always takes Julianne outside her comfort zone.

At first, I wished the gown had been all velvet. But upon reflection, the look perhaps would’ve been quite stale and not as fashion-forward as the final result we saw here.

Should Tom Ford have stuck to one fabric?

Paloma Faith In Tom Ford – Tom Ford ‘Noir Extreme’ Fragrance Launch Party

Paloma Faith In Tom Ford - Tom Ford 'Noir Extreme' Fragrance Launch Party

Paloma Faith attended the launch of Tom Ford’s new fragrance ‘Noir Extreme’ held at the Chiltern Firehouse on Monday (January 12) in London, England.

The singer, who has taken a break from wearing Dolce & Gabbana to every event, donned a colourful fractured mirrored long-sleeve dress from Tom Ford’s Spring 2014 collection.

I love the Charlotte Olympia blue accessories, but I wish the pumps were sassy sandals.

If this was anyone else I would’ve questioned the gloves, but as you know Paloma marches to the beat of her own drum.

You may remember that Beyonce Knowles wore the bodysuit version of this piece while performing at the 2014 MTV VMAs.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

men 16 dec

Here is a quick look at some of the dapper gents taking to the red carpet this week.

Common: The actor attended the ‘Selma’ New York premiere alongside the lovely Tessa Thompson on Sunday (December 14), looking pretty sharp himself wearing a Calvin Klein Collection suit. While the cut and fit is to be admired, I can’t help swooning at how the oxblood hue is so heavenly against his caramel skin tone. Styled with a blush shirt and patterned tie, the look was completed by a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood lace-up shoes with a contrast trim.

Bradley Cooper: The actor was back to his super-sharp best, donning a black silky-smooth cashmere Tom Ford suit to the ‘American Sniper’ New York premiere. The look is simple and classic, which only serves to bring out those gorgeous blue eyes. While I prefer Cooper with a bit of stubble, this clean-shaven look does have me swooning.

Dan Stevens: The British actor attended the ‘Night At The Museum: Secret Of The Tomb’ London premiere held at the Empire Leicester Square on Monday (December 15). The buttoned-up shirt tieless look doesn’t always work for me as it has a feeling of being not quite finished, yet with the slickness of the Armani suit styled with the studded shoes, I would say Dan pulls this look off with great aplomb.
