Margaret Qualley In Prada – ‘Death Note’ Toyko Premiere

Margaret Qualley took to the red carpet in Tokyo, Japan on Thursday (August 24) for the ‘Death Note’ Netflix premiere.

What I’m loving about Margaret’s style is that she doesn’t appear to be playing it safe.

Seemingly quiet and modest, the actress isn’t afraid make bold choices.

Her Dior dress was one risk that paid off, but I feel this Prada dress will split opinions.

Infused 19th century romantic and miltary-inspired glamour, without the jewelled details we’d be moaning how we’d seen this style of dress a hundred times.

I think she pulled this look off with great aplomb.

What say you?

Emilia Schuele In Prada, Topshop & Jonathan Simkhai – ‘Jugend ohne Gott’ Munich & Berlin Premiere

German actress Emilia Schuele made a bold splash at both the Munich and Berlin premieres of ‘Jugend ohne Gott’ on Monday (August 21) and Tuesday (August 22), respectively, in Germany.

Munich Premiere: Putting her own unique interpretation on this Prada Fall 2017 embellished skirt, Emilia styled the ladylike, red-and-aqua piece with a contemporary twist in her colour-block crop top, which some may liken to a glorified sports bra. The red, studded Miu Miu clutch seemed a bit large and distracting, and at this point, I say why settle for a nude pump instead of a sassy red or pink shoe.

Berlin Premiere: Another day, another completely different midriff look—as Emilia served up her version of pyjama dressing in this relaxed-chic Topshop suit paired with a Jonathan Simkhai crop top. Of her two looks, this was by far my favourite, as it translated effortlessly despite its bolder nature. The play on proportions was spot-on, and the mix of the bold stripes with the wave of the top was visually intriguing. I’m so glad she styled it with a sleek bun and a few glittery accessories for just the right amount of finishing sparkle.

What did you make of her two premiere outings?

2017 Teen Choice Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Many more PYTs—and one handsome lad—took to the ‘blue’ carpet at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (August 13) in LA with a range of creative looks that had youth on their side.

Katie Stevens: Although the rich, emerald-green hue of Katie’s Styland sexy suiting was eye-catching, I do believe it more readily exposed the jacket and trousers to some slight fit issues. As for those black pumps, the look would have been better served by a sandal. However, her L’Dezen by Payal Shah diamond earrings fit right in.

Georgie Flores: The ‘Famous in Love’ actress’s Alice McCall frock playfully riffed on polka dots and floral with a hint of sultriness in the sheer lace and strappy sandals.

Naya Rivera: Call it a Canadian tuxedo, but I’m calling this all-denim statement utterly cool. I loved seeing Naya in this Marques’ Almeida Spring 2017 ensemble that intriguingly paired pouf sleeves and ripped jeans with her signature sexy finish in the makeshift plunge neckline. This is how to take a throwback look and make it look completely relevant—and fun.

Zendaya Coleman In Adam Lippes – 5th Annual Beautycon Festival

Gearing up to the 2017 Teen Choice Awards, Zendaya Coleman kick started her weekdend at the 5th Annual Beautycon Festival on Saturday (August 12) in LA.

The rising star wore a relaxed look consisting of a simple white Hanes x Karla t-shirt with marigold Adam Lippes Resort 2018 culottes, but despite the bright hue, it was her accessories which caught my eye.

Over the past few weeks, stars like Kendall Jenner have been transiting their summer clothes with autumnal accessories.

Zendaya is the latest celeb to work this trend opting for maroon pumps which complemented her Prada ‘Cahier’ velvet bag.

Katherine Langford In Prada – 2017 Teen Choice Awards

Fringed and dangerous, Katherine Langford was ready to shimmy and shake at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (August 13) in LA.

The ’13 Reasons Why’ actress had the Midas touch with her gold-tinged, baby-blue frock by Prada and complementary metallic shoes.

But, with such decorative elements coupled with the dress’s high neckline, the look really was begging for a simple bun in the beauty department.

As presented, her long, barely-styled waves weighted down the effect.
