2017 Hollywood Film Awards Menswear Roundup

We saw a number of pretty looks from the female set at the 2017 Hollywood Film Awards on Sunday (November 5) in Beverly Hills, California. But, the men served up some stylish offerings and brought their A game, too.

Garrett Hedlund: I like how his micro-print dress shirt and burnt cappuccino tie brought a note of subtle, retro-forward appeal to his dark mahogany Prada suit.

Timothée Chalamet: Always the style charmer, the actor dressed up in a black tux yet ensured it still had a properly youthful, casual-cool edge by skipping a tie or bow tie.

Jake Gyllenhaal
: Jake was at his handsome best in this Burberry tailoring whereby the tonal silken sheen of the lapels took the suit beyond standard-issue.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is the final menswear roundup of the week.

Johnny Depp: Joining a stellar cast of gorgeous actresses for the ‘Murder On The Orient Express’ world premiere, the actor cleaned up his act; bringing his A-game to the red carpet. While look had a typically laid-back approach with the undone bow-tie, I was delighted to see Johnny has finally stopped dressing like Jack Sparrow.

John Boyega: The actor was looking very dapper as always collecting this Vanguard Award during the SCAD Savannah Film Festival wearing Burberry. I don’t think I’ve seen a finer suit this week. From the cut, fit and trouser length, everything is on point here.

Leslie Odom Jr.: Going slightly less formal sans tie in Prada for the ‘Murder On The Orient Express’ world premiere, the actor still presented a very smart impression. Double breasted blazers aren’t the easiest to pull off, however, the look fits Leslie’s stocky frame perfectly. I love how the dual-colour Jimmy Choo ‘Penn’ shoes added a touch of flare.

Michelle Pfeiffer In Prada – ‘Murder On The Orient Express’ World Premiere

Michelle Pfeiffer attended the world premiere of ‘Murder On The Orient Express’ on Thursday (November 2) in London, England.

Forget golden goddess, Michelle was an elegant, silver seductress in this Prada gown that showed the effortless side of Prada that gets it so right for the red carpet.

The dress needed no embellishment, as the shimmery hue, bold shoulders, and draped sleeves took top billing.

Loose curls completed this study in modern glamour.

Bruna Linzmeyer In Prada & Gucci – ‘O Filme De Minha Vida’ Rome Film Fest Photocall & Premiere

Brazilian actress Bruna Linzmeyer attended the ‘O Filme De Minha Vida’ photocall and premiere during the 12th Rome Film Fest on Monday (October 30) in Italy.

Photocall: It’s safe to say that her Prada ensemble had PJs written all over it, as this oversized floral-printed number made no apologies for its lounge-wear vibe. Her styling further enhanced the pajama mood with the bustier camisole and slipper-like ballet flats, not to mention her bare-faced radiance. You may remember that Gigi Hadid wore the top half of this look over the summer.

Dianna Agron In Alessandra Rich & Prada – Build Series & ‘Novitiate’ New York Screening

Dianna Agron displayed her classic feminine style as she promoted ‘Novitiate.’ First, she paid a visit to Build Series on Thursday (October 26).

Some might assume this is Chanel, but it’s actually Alessandra Rich Fall 2017. She retained the long gown’s prim charm by styling it with low heels and a black headband.

The black belt tied in the bow detail. Plus, it added another element to the two-tone finish. Did you prefer the white version from the runway?

‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Premiere

The premiere of Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 took place on Thursday (October 26) in Los Angeles, California, with the cast display an array of gorgeous looks.

Millie Bobby Brown: Judging by your comments yesterday, it seems that you are longing for Millie to display a more youthful style. One that better represents her tender 13 years. I do love this Calvin Klein leather dress for its chic appeal, but it sounds like you want something more playful.

Natalia Dyer: I have been obsessed with Natalia’s style since her epic red Miu Miu moment, and this Christopher Kane Resort 2018 only enhances my love. So poised and graceful for someone so young, Natalia has such a commanding presence in this lace-frilled gown. Demure yet infused with a light, modern spirit, this was my favourite look of the night. Irene Neuwirth jewels completed her look.

Sadie Sink: I love when big brand dress young talent, and Chanel is one of those brands which has always done this. Sadie’s black and white Chanel Fall 2017 is the perfect mix of classic and youthful.
