Julie Bowen In Marchesa - P2

Julie Bowen attends the LA Modernism Show & Sale opening night party to benefit P.S. ARTS at 3LABS on Friday (April 25) in Culver City, California.

The ‘Modern Family’ actress wore a Marchesa Spring 2013 gunmetal painted lace midriff cocktail dress with blue-graphite tulle asymmetrical drape overlay.

This romantic lace dress, which stands out for its exquisite detailing, was styled with Christian Louboutin peep-toes and a grey satin clutch.

Alison Brie In Marchesa - ‘Mad Men’ Season 7 LA Premiere

>Alison Brie was also in attendance at the ‘Mad Men’ Season 7 premiere, hosted at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California on Wednesday (April 2), where she was in good company with her other co-stars January Jones, Elisabeth Moss, Kiernan Shipka, Christina Hendricks, Jessica Pare and Teyonah Parris.

Like Kiernan, Alison was inspired by floral for this premiere look, donning a strapless nude Marchesa dress with an intricate cluster of embroidered buds and blooms in fall-like hues.

Complementing the frock, she wore metallic pewter Jimmy Choo ‘Valdez’ sandals and a rich berry lip whilst opting to keep her jewels minimal and her hair styled in simple waves.

Perhaps it’s the onslaught of spring, but this outing left me with a small craving for more sprightly, vivid hues.

Kate Beckinsale In Marchesa - United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Presents '2014 Los Angeles Dinner What You Do Matters'

Kate Beckinsale attended the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum presents ‘2014 Los Angeles Dinner: What You Do Matters’ event held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (March 6) in Beverly Hills, California.

The British actress, who looked stunning at the Vanity Fair party on Sunday, opted to wear a Marchesa Fall 2013 dress.
Her pink strapless duchess-satin cocktail dress featuring a draped bodice with red floral embroidery and a bustle-back train accent isn’t my favourite.

The train is bothersome. I feel the dress would’ve looked much better – and less fussy – without it.

A red Rauwolf clutch to complement the floral embroidery, nude pumps, a diamond ear cuff and a wavy updo completed her look.

Yay or nay on the train?

Rita Ora In Marchesa - Elle Style Awards 2014

Rita Ora made a show-stopping appearance on the red carpet of the Elle Style Awards 2014 (February 18) held at One Embankment in central London this evening.

Wearing a white floor-length Marchesa Fall 2014 gown with an embroidered body and layered tulle skirt, Rita ensured all eyes were on her at the star-studded event.

While I like the fact she hasn’t opted for the runway inspired romantic styling and instead opted or a much modern, slicked back hair and bold lip pairing, I think the dress looks a little frumpy for the young star.

This is an awards ceremony celebrating the best style makers and designers so I think Rita should have chosen something much more daring and suited to her age. It’s a pretty dress but it would have been much more suited to something like the Oscars. Do you agree?

Sarah Paulson In Marchesa - 64th Annual ACE Eddie Awards

Sarah Paulson attended the 64th Annual ACE Eddie Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday (February 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress opted for yet another twee frock, wearing a Marchesa Resort 2014 white lace A-line shift dress with a shirt collar and crystal 3D silk-chiffon flower details on the sleeves and skirt.

Opting for neutral makeup, the pop of colour came via her pink clutch, with taupe Louboutin pumps and jewels courtesy of EF Collection and Dana Rebecca Designs also accessorizing her look.
