Julia Michaels In Marchesa – Logo’s 2017 Trailblazer Honors

Julia Michaels was the belle of the ball at Logo’s 2017 Trailblazer Honors event on Thursday (June 22) in New York City.

The American singer opted for a Marchesa Resort 2017 tea-length floral applique gown which was – as you’d expect – ultra-feminine.

There’s something incredibly beautiful about the cascading flower effect and gorgeous colours against the black flared skirt.

Tulle layers add volume whilst the plunging V-neck is a welcome relief from all the intricacies of this look.

Her tattoos will perhaps dial down some of the saccharine nature of the dress, with simple black pumps fading into the carpet.

Eiza Gonzalez In Marchesa – ‘Baby Driver’ London Premiere

Eiza Gonzalez joined Lily James on the red carpet in London this evening (June 21) for the ‘Baby Driver’ premiere in Leicester Square.

It may have many sheer elements, but Eiza’s Marchesa Resort 2017 gown possesses a feminine charm.

I love the tassel floral threadwork embroidery and metallic lace, which showcases the mastery of the brand in typical fashion, however, if you’re not taken by the detailing, then you’ll be swept away by the overlay of soft Grecian draping for added graceful drama.

Even though Eiza’s style is inherently sultry, I would describe this piece as a fairytale gown.

Do you agree?

Isabela Moner In Marchesa – ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Chicago Premiere

Isabela Moner looked iridescent on Tuesday (June 20) as she attended the ‘Transformers The Last Knight’ premiere in Chicago, Illinois.

Wearing a Marchesa Spring 2017 gown, complete with layers of tulle, the actress epitomized the heights of femininity.

The glass-like organza details and halter neck made this a fairy-tale gown for a modern princess. I particularly like the fit and flare silhouette, which goes a long way to controlling the swathes of fabric.

Taking heed of the runway the actress opted for a slicked back hairstyle, the sharp contrast worked well with the frothy gown.

Picture perfect, would you agree?

Coco Rocha Wears Marchesa – Piaget Sunlight Journey Collection Launch

Coco Rocha was head to toe perfection as she attended the Piaget Sunlight Journey Collection Launch on Tuesday (June 13) in Rome, Italy.

The Marchesa Pre-Fall 2017 gown looked romantic and palatial, ideal for the Italian setting. I adore the soft pink colour palette and Chantilly lace with the dramatic peplum shape and Coco’s sleek hair.

The model’s striking look was only made more regal by the addition of a silver choker style necklace and drop earrings.

A note perfect outing for the supermodel, wouldn’t you agree? Especially now she’s reverted back to her natural raven hair colour.

Models @ The 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

It was all cheekbones and centre-partings as models descended on the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5) in New York City.

Bella Hadid: The model is a fan of flashing flesh but kept it sophisticated in this blazer-style dress from Off-White Fall 2017. Top marks for the flared sleeves and retro full fringe. We’ll ignore the pale pink lunch bag style clutch.

Maye Musk: I do love the humour and personality in this Rosie Assoulin Spring 2017 dress. It’s unashamedly extroverted and doesn’t apologise for its bling accessories courtesy of Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry.

Karen Elson: Ah, red and green a hallowed combination that almost never goes wrong. Unfortunately, the tried and tested combo falls short here. The Anna Sui Fall 2017 dress is a confusing array of frills, draping, and puff sleeves. Combined with heavy shoes, this look is overwhelmingly bad.

Karolina Kurkova In Marchesa – 2017 amfAR Gala Cannes

Karolina Kurkova was not one to go down the darker sartorial route at the amfAR Gala Cannes on Thursday (May 25) during the Cannes Film Festival.

Quite the contrary, rather, as she brought a whimsical sense of romantic femininity to her new set of edgy blunt bangs in this Marchesa Fall 2017 floral and feather festooned gown.

While sheer, the front of the dress was protected from an overt eyeful in the draped half-bow, half-obi sash.

Rocker-chick meets flower-chic with this look that was quite different from the more streamlined, sometimes glitzy vibe Karolina tends to serve.
