Paz Vega In Marchesa – 2019 Goya Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Paz Vega In Marchesa - 2019 Goya Awards

Paz Vega oozed romance at the 2019 Goya Awards on Saturday (February 2) in Seville, Spain. She joined Nieves Alvarez and Penelope Cruz.

Marchesa is never in short supply of romance or drama and this Pre-Fall 2019 gown certainly denotes this with its layers and layers of floral bedecked netting.

The dramatic dress could have swallowed some up, but she’s carrying off the voluminous silhouette.

Leaving her neck bare allowed the intricate layering on the bodice to be noticed.

I’m curious to see it without the pale pink belt because it was mostly covered by her arms anyway.

Only when the designer pays a lot for the publicity. It’s not even close to Paz’s usual style.

DATED. Do people still wear these type of gowns in 2019

Drama and romance are the perfect descriptors for this look, still on the fence in regards to Marchesa but love the look.

It’s been done before but it’s a nice ‘go big’ gown.

Love the dress, and she carries off the volume well. Unfortunately the hair doesn’t work with the dress at all and brings down the whole look.

Paz tends to deliver. What bothers me are the wide stripes in the tulle. The geometry and the 3d embroidery would have been enough.
