2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Celebration

2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Celebration

Models were out in full force for the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue celebration held at Marquee on Tuesday (February 10) in New York City.

Lily Aldridge: The model, who I usually consider one of the best dressed of her peers, failed to impress in her Marc Jacobs Spring 2015 tri-colour hipsack mini dress, so I am thankful for her choice of Tabitha Simmons shoes to distract my attention. There isn’t one thing I like about this dress. If Lily can’t pull it off, no one can.

Gigi Hadid: The blonde beauty wore a that’s-more-like-it David Koma Spring 2015 look. She totally nailed her look for its sporty, sexy, fun, vibrant and colourful appeal, evoking everything about a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.

Chanel Iman: One has to wonder if the model wandered into the wrong event. As beautiful as her Temperley London Spring 2015 emerald gown is, it feels so wrong and out of place at this event.

Claire Danes In Marc Jacobs – 2015 SAG Awards

Claire Danes graced the red carpet at Sunday’s (January 25) 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards, hosted at the L.A. Shrine Auditorium.

The ‘Homeland’ nominee wore a khaki green gown by Marc Jacobs Spring 2015. I’m a big lover of the cool and contemporary colour.

The gown had several beautifully crafted details, but one too many for my eye. The twisted halter, the keyhole cutout, the waist-cinching belt, and the graphic beading down the entire side of the gown. Each design element so lovely, but too much all together.

Claire amped up the glamour of a potentially causal colour with warm gold earrings and bangles, which was smart. I also love that she matched her eyeline colour to the dress–a dark green for extra edge.

Does this gown have too many details to look at? Or, are you loving the look?

Dianna Agron In Marc Jacobs – The Brian Bowen Smith WILDLIFE Show

Dianna Agron In Marc Jacobs - The Brian Bowen Smith WILDLIFE Show

Dianna Agron attended the Brian Bowen Smith WILDLIFE show held at the De Re Gallery on Thursday (October 23) in West Hollywood, California.

The ‘Glee’ actress wore a Marc Jacobs Resort 2015 yellow satin frock with a black crochet overlay.

As a fan of Dianna’s most recent looks, this serves as a bitter disappointment. Not even she, with her red carpet presence, can make yellow satin work for me – especially not a frock with a netted overlay.

I would save the sassy Balenciaga thorn strap sandals and nothing else.

Margot Robbie In Marc Jacobs – 31st Annual FGI Night of Stars

Margot Robbie In Marc Jacobs - 31st Annual FGI Night of Stars

Margot Robbie made a return to the red carpet for the 31st Annual FGI Night of Stars event held at Cipriani Wall Street on Thursday (October 23) in New York City.

After being a brunette, and a brief minute as a redhead, she returned to her blonde roots, which in my opinion is the best colour for her.

‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ actress got a head start on party season, looking as stunning as ever wearing a gleaming green sequin Marc Jacobs Resort 2015 animal-print dress.

Not slacking in the shoe department, her look was further enhanced with lust-worthy heels by celebrity favourite Aquazzura.

Keeping her hair and makeup simple was the way to ensure her dress and sexy sandals were the main attraction.

Megan Fox In Marc Jacobs – ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Berlin Photocall

Megan Fox In Marc Jacobs - 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Berlin Photocall

Megan Fox was back on the red carpet to continue to promote her latest movie, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, by attending a photocall on Sunday (October 5) in Berlin, Germany.

It looks like only the colour and style of her hair have changed since her last outing, as her love for anything above the knee hasn’t.

On this occasion she wore a Marc Jacobs Resort 2015 sleeveless top and skirt brimming with a vibrant patchwork blue print which feels more youthful and playful in comparison to the looks she’s worn so far.

Black ankle-strap peep-toes and a smouldering glare rounded out her look.

Harper’s BAZAAR Celebrates Icons By Carine Roitfeld Carpet Roundup

Harper's BAZAAR Celebrates Icons By Carine Roitfeld Carpet Roundup

The stars came out for the Harper’s Bazaar Celebrates Icons by Carine Roitfeld event held at The Plaza Hotel in New York City on September 5.

Lily Aldridge: Wearing a red velvet pantsuit from Emilio Pucci’s Fall 2014 collection with an orange, v-neck blouse, Lily shows us mortals how models do fashion. The mix of textures and bright color-blocking are oh-so-chic, while the simple gold accessories and Lily’s barely there makeup and slightly tousled hair complete the ‘models-do-it-better’ effect.

Crystal Renn: Taking a very different approach to the event, Crystal Renn is all about the drama in a gray satin mermaid-shaped Zac Posen gown with matching cape and striking Lorraine Schwartz jewels. To complete the high-fashion, high-drama look, Crystal’s bold brows, deep plum lips and pinned back retro-inspired hair are a stark contrast with her lack of eye makeup.
