Alicia Keys joined Marsai Martin for The Hollywood Reporter’s Empowerment In Entertainment Event 2019 held at Milk Studios on Tuesday (April 30) in Los Angeles, California.

Bold stripes feel like a fresh take on this maxi dress from Marc Jacobs’s Fall 2019 collection.

I was unsure about the impact of this look until I saw it from behind with the peplum-detail at the back.

It brought some drama to the look, emboldening the graphic stripes further, but overall, I still feel like this needed a pop of colour.

However, I respect Alicia’s no-makeup stance.
