2015 Tony Awards Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

men tony awards

The men brought a dose of handsome drama to the 2015 Tony Awards, hosted on Sunday (June 7) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, where the looks trended on the side of classic and traditional—with the exception of one.

Joe Manganiello: The actor cut a dapper profile in an Ermenegildo Zegna black tuxedo that fit him like a glove.

Alan Cumming: Boldly marching to the beat of his own drum, the Broadway icon pulled plenty of stares in his navy printed sport coat. I would have been entirely on board with the whimsical jacket but he started to lose me with the shorts and the black Christian Louboutin ‘Nono’ sneakers, which came across as more comical, albeit they provided a dose of intriguing entertainment in a sea of one-note tuxes.

Darren Criss
: The ‘Glee’ actor put his own flair on a classic navy tux by wearing his Christian Louboutin ‘Dada’ flats with contrasting socks for casual, slipper-style appeal.

Alicia Vikander In Louis Vuitton – ‘Testament Of Youth’ New York Premiere

Alicia Vikander In Louis Vuitton - 'Testament Of Youth' New York Premiere

Alicia Vikander attended the ‘Testament Of Youth’ New York premiere at Chelsea Bow Tie Cinemas on Tuesday (June 2) in New York City.

Looking as graceful as ever, the Swedish actress opted for a Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2015 scoop-neck maxi dress, given some life via the colourful print and sensual lace underlay.

While we’ve complained about over use of the Louis Vuitton Resort 2015 and Spring 2015 collections, I’m glad that when making her selections Alicia is showcasing looks we haven’t seen multiple times before.

At this point she is proving to be quite the worthy ambassador. Do you agree?

Britt Robertson In Louis Vuitton – MOCA Gala 2015

Britt Robertson In Louis Vuitton - MOCA Gala 2015

Britt Robertson attended the 2015 MOCA Gala presented by Louis Vuitton at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA on Saturday (May 30) in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Tomorrowland’ actress wore a head-to-toe Louis Vuitton Fall 2015 look which saw her amp up her style, taking her from her favoured Dior lady-like dresses to something with a bit of an edge.

Perhaps this might not go down too well with the majority, but I like that she’s not afraid to mix things up and that she continues to have fun with fashion.

My only real objection are the shoes, which make her feet look very long.

Alicia Vikander attended amfAR’s 22nd Cinema Against AIDS Gala at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday (May 21) in Cap d’Antibes, France.

The Swedish actress wore her second look from the Louis Vuitton Resort 2016 collection.

While I have no issue with the look itself as the style has a youthful edge, it felt rather casual for a gala.

With Alicia’s new ambassadorial role, we can look forward to seeing her in many LV looks from now on.

‘Youth’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

youth cannes film festival premiere red carpet round up

Here is a roundup of the other attendees at the premiere of ‘Youth’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 20) in Cannes, France.

Chanel Iman: I’m not surprised that Chanel served up one of the few Cannes-worthy gowns from this group. The model is forever in Cannes mode with her love of pretty princess gowns. She’s clearly in her element here wearing Donna Karan Atelier – despite the long face.

Joan Smalls: The model made her first appearance on the red carpet at Cannes wearing an Alaïa white two-piece breezy look. While this is more Independent Spirit Awards than Cannes, I can’t deny how gorgeous she looks.
