Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

There will likely be no surprise that Michelle Williams was donning the Louis Vuitton label for the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

The ‘All the Money in the World’ actress and nominee, who was pictured with activist Tarana Burke, kept it simple in her black LV off-the-shoulder look.

I was thankful for the bit of patterned embroidery in the pouf-sleeve top along with the deep slit at the side of the skirt to provide some visual spark to the ensemble.

Au naturel makeup and a singular necklace completed her freshly minimal styling.

The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

There were many more stars in attendance at the BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party, joining Diane Kruger on Saturday (January 6).

Michelle Williams: As we might have predicted, the actress was dressed in a Louis Vuitton design—this one a basic variation on a sheath dress with a graphic pattern to add visual interest.

Issa Rae: Continuing her sunny-yellow mood from the 2018 AFI Awards, Issa donned a Rosie Assoulin Spring 2018 frock that featured a sense of girly playfulness in the oversized ruffle detail. With Monica Vinader jewels to round out the look, she kept the styling simple and sleek this time around.

Emma Watson: Emma debuted a short set of bangs that had a certain Sofia Boutella influence to go with her Osman Resort 2018 ensemble. The sharp look prominently celebrated the menswear trend, with Susi Studio loafers contributing to that theme.

Nicole Kidman In Carolina Herrera & Louis Vuitton – 7th AACTA International Awards & Golden Globes Party

We may be at the start of awards season, but Nicole Kidman is already collection many awardds.

7th AACTA International Awards: Nicole picked up the AACTA Award for Best Supporting Actress for ‘Lion’ and the AACTA Award for Best Guest or Supporting Actress in a TV Drama for ‘Top of the Lake: China Girl’ on Friday (January 5) wearing a pretty Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2018 gown. I know some of you don’t like it when Nicole goes super girlie, but I love how this look is brimming with charm and femininity.

GOLD MEETS GOLDEN Party: On Saturday (January) Nicole turned cocktail hour into a very prim and conservative affair . I love the ’90s lingerie-inspired feel of her Louis Vuitton silk dress which becomes very understated when styled with the Louis Vuitton blazer. Simple black pumps and a LV bucket bag completed her look.

Pom Klementieff In Louis Vuitton – W Magazine Celebrates Its ‘Best Performances’ Portfolio

Pom Klementieff joined Michelle Monaghan and Tracee Ellie Ross for W Magazine’s Celebration of its ‘Best Performances’ Portfolio and the Golden Globes at Chateau Marmont on Thursday (January 4) in LA.

If there was one person who could’ve sold those Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 leather harnesses to me it was Pom, but the actress kept things simple with her neon-green dress.

I love how the coquettish midi silhouette marries ethereal ruffles with cut-out details to show a softer side to Pom’s style.

A Louis Vuitton clutch and punchy pink lip rounded out her look.

Brand Ambassador of the Year – Alicia Vikander for Louis Vuitton

There was a time when we may have lost a bit of faith in brand ambassadors for keeping the style excitement alive for their respective designer. Dior darlings will likely spring to mind.

But, in representation of Louis Vuitton, Alicia Vikander not only has restored the brand ambassador role, but she’s also worn what can be a challenging label with effortless elegance.

The actress’s Louis Vuitton ensembles have been masterful in their strength of form that offers a modern version of trend-forward femininity—even in the realm of gowns that seamlessly find a natural fit on the red carpet when worn by Alicia.

But, what also sets her apart from the rest of the LV lovelies is that her looks are never contrived. That is to say, they don’t wear her.

Rather, she stays true to her personal aesthetic—one that’s sleek and sophisticated without a hint of try-hard—and lets the brand work for her.
