Lupita Nyong'o In J Mendel - '12 Years A Slave' Movies For Grownups Film Festival Screening

Lupita Nyong’o attended the screening of ’12 Years A Slave’ at AARP’s Movies For Grownups Film Festival 2013 held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California on Saturday prior to the Governors Awards 2013.

On this occasion she wore a very sophisticated look; some might even call this an ‘Anna Wintour dress’, such is the uptown nature of the J. Mendel micro-dot tweed sleeveless boat-neck fitted dress with black inserts at the waist and a flared skirt.

However, even Anna would’ve rocked a shorter version of this look, as I wish Lupita had.

Black Christian Louboutin pumps with a gold-studded toecap accessorized her look, along with a rare clear glossy lip.

Amy Adams In J Mendel - Hamilton And Los Angeles Confidential Magazine

Amy Adams took to the red carpet at Hamilton And Los Angeles Confidential Magazine’s announcement of the 7th Annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards in Los Angeles, California yesterday.

The actress wore a J. Mendel Resort 2014 dress featuring an all-over black-and-cream graphic lined print, a sportier sleeveless neckline, and a full skirt that cut just below the knee. It was a figure-flattering silhouette that proved both eye-catching and polished — Amy’s style in a nutshell.

A pair of Jamie Wolf earrings, a bangle by Dana Rebecca Designs, glamorous waves, and a berry lip shade completed the look.

Hailee Steinfeld - J Mendel - Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Hailee Steinfeld continued the promo circuit for her new film, ‘Ender’s Game,’ with a guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ in New York City on Tuesday.

The starlet continued to show off her trendsetting ways in a J. Mendel Spring 2014 ivoire mixed lace tromp l’oeil shirt dress, which she actually winterized with black tights and ankle-strap pumps.

The patchwork frock managed to serve up both a sweet and sporty quality, with her super-long, glossy locks and mostly minimal makeup adding to the youthfully chic edge.

We’ve seen a few black-and-white-themed numbers from Hailee recently. Do you like her more monochromatic modishness or are you craving some colour?

Lupita Nyong'o In J Mendel - 2013 Hollywood Film Awards

Lupita Nyong’o attended the 17th Annual Hollywood Film Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California yesterday evening.

Continuing her epic red carpet run, the actress wore a J. Mendel sleeveless gown with a keyhole detail in a bright-yellow hue, making her skin look even more radiant.

Gold Monique Pean jewels, a silver Judith Leiber clutch and Jean-Michel Cazabat heels accessorized her look.

On this occasion her makeup artist applied a copper eye shadow and orange lip colour. I have never tried an orange lip before; this has inspired me to give it a go.

Putting my thumb over her clutch, this look is definitely in her Top 10 of the 11 looks we have seen from her so far.

Anne Hathaway In J Mendel - Elyse Walker's Pink Party

As the host of Elyse Walker’s Pink Party held at Hangar 8 in Santa Monica, California on Saturday evening, Anne Hathaway was (of course) wearing pink.

She decided upon this J. Mendel sleeveless frock from the Spring 2014 collection with a tiered skirt featuring a floral lace insert, which was presented as a maroon leather dress last month on the runway.

Her pretty pink frock was styled with black accessories, including an Edie Parker clutch and embellished pumps.

I’m not a fan of the accessories as they weigh down her light-weight frock. I would’ve taken the white runway pumps over her choice any day.
