Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

men 1

With the GQ Men of the Year Awards as well as a few other key premieres, the men have made a fine showing the past few days. Here, a look at their ensembles.

David Gandy: Forever cutting a striking profile, David showed us all how a classic tux should be worn at the GQ Men of the Year Awards at The Royal Opera House in London, England on Tuesday (September 8).

Jake Gyllenhaal: The double-breasted coat isn’t always easy to wear, but Jake pulls it off in this head-to-toe Salvatore Ferragamo ensemble at the ‘Everest’ premiere at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday (September 9). The baby-blue shirt, which reflected his eyes, was the best decision here.

Samuel L. Jackson: Acting as host of the GQ Men of the Year Awards, the actor was debonair in a polished Giorgio Armani head-to-toe look. I loved the monochromatic nature of the ensemble elevated by the slight contrast of the satin lapels and metallic bow tie.

Tom Cruise In Giorgio Armani – ‘Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation’ Premieres

Tom Cruise In Giorgio Armani - ‘Mission Impossible Rogue Nation’ New York Premiere

While we’ve focused on the lovely Rebecca Ferguson for the ‘Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation’ promo tour, Tom Cruise has also been present at the premieres in Vienna, London and New York where the handsome actor continues to show faith in Giorgio Armani.

Vienna: Armani created an exceptional tailored vision when creating this trimmed with satin, clean-cut classic tuxedo.

London: Channelling his inner banker, this grey and blue Armani three-piece combo was sartorially elegant with its streamline structured silhouette. This was eventually my favourite.

New York: Looking a bit windswept and creased, while I love the deep navy shade of the recent Armani outing, the grooming lets him down.

Which was your favourite?

The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation 2nd Annual Saint-Tropez Gala Red Carpet Roundup

The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation 2nd Annual Saint-Tropez Gala Red Carpet Roundup

There were many more stars who attended The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation 2nd Annual Saint-Tropez Gala at Domaine Bertaud Belieu on Wednesday (July 22) in Saint-Tropez, France, joining Nina Dobrev, Kate Hudson and Marion Cotillard.

Jessica Stam: For those of you saying that Kate’s look was trashy, take a look at Jessica in this Francesco Scognamiglio Spring 2015 look and get back to me.

Michelle Rodriguez: The ‘Fast and Furious’ star also had me wondering “why did you bother putting on any clothes”?

Petra Nemcova: It was groundhog day for the model wearing this green beaded Elie Saab…I mean Zuhair Murad gown. She’s been there, done that, got the t-shirt, recycled it and still opted to wear it again.

Armani Privé Fall 2015 Front Row

Armani Privé Fall 2015 Couture Front Row

The Armani Prive Fall 2015 show took place on Tuesday (July 7) in Paris, France.

Naomi Watts: This white Giorgio Armani piece is a sheer delight with its delicate display of embroidered lace and straightforward design. I like how Naomi kept the styling simple with nude pumps. While I love this summery offering, what I’m most impressed about here is the amount of volume in Naomi’s hair.

Chrissy Tiegen: The handsome couple continue to do the rounds during fashion week. Chrissy is known for her love for Zuhair Murad gowns and John is known for his commitment to Gucci, so could this chic showing at Couture week see them switching to Armani? Unless Giorgio makes gowns for Chrissy that are plunging to the navel and slit to the thigh, I can’t see it, but I’m happy to be proved wrong.

Vogue Paris Foundation Gala

vogue gala

The Vogue Paris Foundation Gala was hosted at Palais Galliera on Monday (July 6) in Paris, France, where a group of beauties attended in support of the museum’s contemporary fashion collections.

Dianna Agron: The actress wore a Tory Burch patterned dress with the added allure of side cutouts. An Emm Kuo clutch, Eva Fehren jewels, and breezy, loose waves completed her effortless entrance.

Chrissy Teigen: Leaving precious little to the imagination, Chrissy wore a delicately sheer Giorgio Armani gown that featured a lovely collection of shimmering pastel colours. That aside, I don’t know what was more distracting—the black sash that cut across the dress, its unavoidable transparency that revealed her nude knickers underneath, or her dark and vampy blood-red lip.
