Jodie Foster In Giorgio Armani – Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017

Jodie Foster was at the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards on Thursday (November 2) in London, England.

I love how her aubergine Giorgio Armani sleeveless gown celebrated her no-fuss style while taking it to the next level with the sparkling tulle overlay of silver embroidered leaf motifs.

Complementary sandals and a matching Christian Louboutin clutch completed the easy elegance of the look.

Reese Witherspoon In Giorgio Armani – WSJ Magazine 2017 Innovator Awards

Reese Witherspoon picked up the Entertainment Innovator of the Year award at the WSJ Magazine 2017 Innovator Awards on Wednesday (November 1) in New York City.

I love how the sculpted shoulders on her Giorgio Armani Pre-Fall 2017 dress creates a strong impression along with the embellished bodice of black and mint green beading.

While this style of this dress sits firmly in Reese’s wheelhouse, there is something different here – which I can’t quite put my finger on (perhaps it’s her confidence) – which is totally drawing me to this into this look.

Jimmy Choo sandals, Cartier jewels and glossy waves provided the finishing touches.

Kaia Gerber In Giorgio Armani & Hudson – Hudson Jean SS18 Preview

Showing off her supermodel genes, Kaia Gerber was at a private party for the Hudson Jean SS18 Preview on Friday (October 20) in New York City.

Her Hudson leather jeans and Hudson cape jacket already were set up for drama that way extended beyond the denim box.

But, with an embellished Giorgio Armani corset top and stunning Lorraine Schwartz earrings added to the mix, the glamour quotient was solidified.

Christian Louboutin pumps and a classic red lip completed the look—but I also liked how she took her hair into a sleek, sculptural updo to add another edgy counterpoint to the look.

This cool-girl style gone glam, and I loved every minute of it. Would you agree?

Variety’s Power Of Women

Variety’s Power Of Women event brought together philanthropic femmes for an exclusive luncheon in Beverly Hills, California on Friday (October 13).

Octavia Spencer: Celebrated at the event for her work with City Year, Octavia gave her favoured designer Tadashi Shoji the afternoon off, instead donning a custom-made Laura Basci ensemble. I love how she brought a touch of the wild to the business-chic side of the dress with her leopard accessories.

Ashley Tisdale: With a fun and flirty outlook, Ashley wore a CMEO Collective number, to which the black pumps didn’t exactly reflect the youthful vibe. I would have probably skipped the diamond chokers, too.

Nikki Reed: The new mom kept her frilly, feminine look as meaningful as possible by wearing an eco-friendly dress by Amur. An Edie Parker clutch, John Hardy jewels, and Rupert Sanderson shoes rounded out the look.

Front Row @ Giorgio Armani Spring 2018

The front row of the Giorgio Armani Spring 2018 show on Friday (September 22) during Milan Fashion Week paid homage to the designer’s impeccable tailoring with suiting reigning supreme.

Amber Valletta: The model demonstrated suiting needn’t be stuffy with a grey one-button jacket and coordinating wide-leg trousers. Round-toe shoes echoed the relaxed fit of the grey suit. Although, I find myself missing a pointed-toe.

Princess Charlene of Monaco: Making another appearance at Milan Fashion Week, the Princess exuded elegance in shades of grey. A wrap top and cuffed trousers were topped with a dove grey trench. Warm grey accessories dabbled with different textures completed the outfit. It’s a shame about the creases on the pants, because this is neutrals and layering at their best.

Cate Blanchett:
The longtime Giorgio Armani fan and campaign star brought some colour to the FROW with her burgundy and white dogstooth pantsuit and coordinating checkerboard shirt. There are so many striking elements in the ensemble from the jacket’s structured shoulders to the witch-y boots, but my eyes are drawn to the quirky round glasses with statement brow bar.

Variety And Women In Film’s 2017 Pre-Emmy Celebration

While Entertainment Weekly was hosting its Pre-Emmy Party on Friday (September 15) in West Hollywood, California. Variety and Women in Film were doing the same thing with their Pre-Emmy Celebration in West Hollywood that likewise attracted a number of stars.

Jennifer Nettles: Between the black paneling and the tiered skirt, this black-and-red dress could have benefited from a slightly simpler approach as it looked a bit haphazard as presented. Ileana Makri jewels completed the look.

Abigail Spencer: Abigail took a pretty-in-pink approach with her feminine Solace London dress that featured the added drama of cape sleeves an Edie Parker clutch and tonal pink Kurt Geiger pumps rounded out the look.

Angela Sarafyan: This Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2017 floral-embroidered frock was an intriguing fusion between high-octane shine and a slight Victorian vibe. Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a Jimmy Choo clutch blended right in, in the best way possible.

Greta Gerwig In Giorgio Armani & Sophie Theallet – ‘Lady Bird’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere & HFPA & InStyle TIFF Party

In the day, Greta Gerwig attended the ‘Lady Bird’ Toronto Film Festival premiere. At night, she celebrated the HFPA & InStyle TIFF Party on Saturday (September 9) with a display of bold prints.

‘Lady Bird’ Premiere:  By day, the actress opted for a Giorgio Armani Fall 2017 strapless column. She lost the trousers from the runway version and extended the dress so it hit just above the ankles. She tempered the bold blue print with ankle-strap heels.

HFPA & InStyle TIFF Party: In the evening, Greta donned bold prints again with a Sophie Theallet Fall 2017 number. Rather than a feeling of déjà vu, the saffron frock with pleating and long sleeves felt fresh. I would have preferred it without the thick belt as it presents a conflicting daytime feeling.
