2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards Menswear
Here is a look at the notable menswear moments from the 2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards.

Classic With A Twist
As you know, I love Archie Madekwe’s style, and even when he is wearing a classic suit from Ferragamo’s Spring 2026 collection, he finds a way to give it personality. The fringed printed satin scarf brought flair to the sharp tailoring. Some might argue that pairing it with a printed tie was one detail too many, but I like the confidence of it all. The Ferragamo Gancini buckle penny loafers were the perfect finishing touch.

Textural Tailoring Done Right
David Jonsson wore a Loewe look by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, featuring a double-breasted jacket with a bold red knitted shoulder panel, classic trousers and a knitted tank top. The mix of tailoring and knitwear is probably why the look appears so smooth. The look was styled with Loewe’s Bobine ankle boots.

Relaxed Dior Energy
Dylan O’Brien wore a Dior Fall 2026 navy jacket with a brown leather collar, which softened the formality of the tailoring. The contrast detail made the look feel more relaxed.

Refined And Understated
François Arnaud looked impossibly handsome in an Armani navy suit. The clean neckline and minimal detailing gave it a streamlined feel that reads almost like a modern mandarin style. It was simple, but effective.

Plaid With A Question Mark
John Magaro wore a Canali. The cut was strong and the plaid added interest, but I am not sold on the black shirt. A tonal option would have elevated the overall look.

Rich Brown Done Well
Lamorne Morris opted for a brown Canali suit in a slick rich tone which he injected his style personality with layered jewellery and a paisley pocket square.

Classic With A Colour Play
Wagner Moura wore a Louis Vuitton single-breasted beige Prince of Wales suit styled with a yellow shirt and brown tie. The colour combination is a reminder of how well yellow and brown complement each other, and the classic pattern kept the look timeless.
Styled by Ilaria Urbinati.
