Katie Holmes In Dolce & Gabanna – The New York Observer 25th Anniversary Party

Katie Holmes attended The New York Observer 25th Anniversary Party at Four Seasons Restaurant in New York City yesterday evening.

Striking a slightly awkward pose, the actress wore a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2013 black dress for the occasion.

Her raffia-effect embroidered tulle dress, which she nipped in at the waist with a black leather belt, was styled with a spaghetti-strap top for extra coverage.

Keeping the look effortlessly simple, she opted for neutral makeup, a gold bracelet and Valentino open-toe t-bar sandals to complete her look.

I have been excited about Katie’s style since the Katie-Posh years, but I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I do actually like this look.

Simple and elegant, without the usual bore factor.

Selena Gomez In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Spring Breakers’ 2013 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival Premiere

After covering up somewhat for her last red carpet appearance, Selena Gomez was back to her abs-baring sexy best while taking to the red carpet at the Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas on Sunday for the premiere of ‘Spring Breakers’ during the 2013 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival.

This time, she turned to one of her favourite designers, Dolce & Gabbana, for this Spring 2013 tropical look, which featured a cropped printed bustier top which tied at the back and a high-waisted orange pencil skirt.

I love the frosty-coral lip colour and the neutral nude Giuseppe Zanotti pumps: they both elevate and complement her daring look.

Signature glossy brunette side-swept waves and a gold Melinda Maria armlet provided the finishing touches.

Rachel Weisz opted to go sans coat on a snow-filled morning on Friday while making her way to a studio in New York City for a guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’.

The British actress wore a textural jacquard Dolce & Gabbana floral-print peplum top, which she styled with a matching fitted pencil skirt.

Much-needed tights and simple black pumps accessorized her look.

Rachel’s ladylike full-bloom look was styled with gorgeous free-flowing locks and a perfect red pout.

Olivia Wilde In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘The Incredible Burt Wonderstone’ 2013 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival Screening

Olivia Wilde attended the screening of her latest flick, ‘The Incredible Burt Wonderstone’, which took place during the 2013 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival held at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas on Friday.

The actress wore an on-trend black-and-white Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2013 floral-embroidered striped dress.

She accessorized with black Jimmy Choo sandals and Irene Neuwirth jewels, with side-parted wavy ombre locks, kohl-rimmed eyes and a nude lip colour providing the finishing touches.

The dress isn’t half bad. On the runway the fabulously feminine silhouette has a fresh appeal, but I am totally underwhelmed by it as the whole look is lacking some ‘oomph’ on Olivia.

Maybe I am still longing for the Olivia Wilde who once upstaged every A-List actress in her stunning Marchesa gown at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards, or maybe the look just needed a pop of colour.

Zoe Saldana In Dolce & Gabbana – 2013 Independent Spirit Awards

Zoe Saldana, like most of the stars at the 2013 Independent Spirit Awards this afternoon, breezed onto the red carpet at Santa Monica Beach like a breath of fresh air.

Some of you haven’t been too enthused with Zoe’s last few red carpet looks, but I’m confident you will love her Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2013 green-and-white beach striped frock which was perfect for the seaside location.

You will be surprised to know that even with her white Casadei ‘blade’ pumps, I adore this look from head-to-toe. It just works.

Selena Gomez In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Spring Breakers’ Madrid Premiere

Selena Gomez joined Vanessa Hudgens at the Callao Cinema in Madrid for the premiere of ‘Spring Breakers’ on Thursday.

The actress has continued to up the edge of her red carpet looks during her premiere tour, and this dress from Dolce & Gabbana is no different.

The curve-hugging black lace gown with corseting up the side is decidedly more sexy than Selena’s sweet choices of red carpets past.

She styled the dress with blue and red teardrop earrings from Dana Rebecca Designs and a floral J/Hadley ring.

Selena’s dark eye makeup and nude lip complemented the sex appeal of the dress perfectly, but her hair not so much. I love the idea of a low, oversized bun, however the style was too loose and messy, making it seem like the actress pulled her hair back at the last minute.
