The Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda show is typically an over-the-top, guest-packed affair with more sparkle than the Sistine Chapel ceiling. But for their latest presentation at the Fori Imperiali on the historic Via Sacra in Rome, the Italian house scaled things back—at least in terms of crowd size. The glamour? Still at full volume.
When the queen of pop meets the Kings of Italian fashion
Cher delivered pure Dolce & Gabbana woman energy in a classic black draped strapless satin dress from the Alta Moda Puglia 2023 collection. Paired with a black faux fur bolero from the Fall 2024 collection, the look channelled old-Hollywood glamour with an Italian twist. Yes, we might’ve expected something a bit more dramatic from Cher, but this was timeless elegance done her way—refined, and undeniably fabulous. Alta Gioielleria earrings and a sparkling crystal Sicily bag gave the look a proper finish.

Alexander Edwards proved to be the perfect style partner in a three-piece Dolce & Gabbana Sicilia-fit tuxedo. By skipping the tie, he gave the traditional tailoring a contemporary feel. Together, the duo embodied Dolce & Gabbana’s signature blend of romance.

Her accessories—Alta Gioielleria earrings with rubellite tourmalines, sapphires and diamonds, plus a crystal-embroidered satin Marlene clutch—brought a richness to the already opulent ensemble.

Isabel Haugseng brought the heat in a peach-toned Dolce & Gabbana gown that ticked all the brand’s favourite boxes—tulle, satin lingerie bra, and that irresistible touch of sultry romance.
