Michelle Monaghan In Salvatore Ferragamo & Calvin Klein Collection – ‘The View’ & NASDAQ MarketSite Visit

Michelle Monaghan In Salvatore Ferragamo & Calvin Klein Collection - 'The View' & NASDAQ MarketSite Visit

The ‘Pixels’ junket keeps on rolling, but you won’t hear me complaining as we get to see two more looks from Michelle Monaghan’s promo tour which saw her take to the streets of Manhattan on Tuesday (July 21).

‘The View’: The beauty of Michelle’s Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2015 dress is its sense of ease with its breezily tailored asymmetrical hemline and the modern opulence via the block-python-print effect on the bodice. Giuseppe Zanotti nude sandals with gold heel plates rounded out this sophisticated look.

Sony visits NASDAQ MarketSite: The actress opted for Calvin Klein Collection once again, this time selecting an a-line blush dress which showcases the brands unparalleled dexterity for chic minimalism. In keeping with that theme, Michelle styled her look with Paul Andrew ‘Zenadia’ pumps.

Michelle Monaghan In Jonathan Saunders, Calvin Klein Collection & Zac Posen – ‘Pixels’ Promo Tour

Michelle Monaghan In Jonathan Saunders, Calvin Klein Collection & Zac Posen - 'Pixels' Promo Tour

Michelle Monaghan was out from dawn to dusk promoting her latest movie, ‘Pixel’ in New York City on Monday (July 20).

Good Morning America: The actress’ first stop was GMA where she served up modern androgyny wearing Jonathan Saunders Resort 2016 tri-colour easy separates. For some reason I can’t get on board with the trousers. I think the colour is throwing me off.

AOL BUILD Speaker Series’ ‘Pixels: I much preferred her Calvin Klein Collection look for its modern-sophisticate appeal and sassy Tamara Mellon strappy sandals.

A Dinner Honoring The Women Of ‘Pixels’: Michelle’s third look of the day came courtesy of Zac Posen. While the look is sophisticated with a hint of sex appeal, I was slightly disappointed by the tailoring of this Resort 2016 short suit. Coming from Zac Posen, I expected the tailoring to be much sharper.

Menswear Red Carpet Weekend Roundup

Menswear Weekend Red Carpet Roundup 3

Over the weekend, a group of guys attended a range of events, and if nothing else, I couldn’t be more delighted that there was not a shred of traditional black suiting on the red carpet this time around.

Jon Hamm: On Saturday (June 27), the actor joined Sandra Bullock at the premiere of ‘Minions’ at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, where he wore a summery Ralph Lauren suit contrasted with a baby blue button-down shirt and dark navy tie.

Michael B Jordan: At the 2015 BET Awards on Sunday (June 28), Michael was handsome in a tonal gray-green Sandro suit—with the hue even extending to his dress shoes. Although it was monochromatic, the look had a rich depth, especially when finished with a cobalt tie.

Jason Clarke: While I appreciated his willingness to step outside the traditional sartorial box at the ‘Terminator Genisys’ premiere on Saturday (June 28) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California, his ecru Michael Bastian double-breasted sport coat wasn’t exactly flattering. The ill-fitted effect continued with the unbuttoned dress shirt, with Christian Louboutin ‘Greggo’ shoes completing the ensemble.

Emilia Clarke In Calvin Klein Collection & Balenciaga – ‘Terminator Genisys’ Paris Photocall & Berlin Premiere

Emilia Clarke In Calvin Klein Collection & Balenciaga - 'Terminator Genisys' Paris Photocall & Berlin Premiere

Emilia Clarke’s continued to promote her latest movie, ‘Terminator Genisys’ with a photocall on Friday (June 19) in Paris, France and the Berlin premiere held at the CineStar Sony Center on Sunday (June 21) in Germany.

Paris Photocall: The British actress took the minimalist approach wearing a clean-cut Calvin Klein Pre-Fall 2015 dress in summery rose-pink hue. I like this look for its relaxed streamlined silhouette and graceful finish of matching suede pumps. Was this look too matchy matchy for you?

Berlin Premiere: Strapless dresses have never been so chic with this Balenciaga version rendered beaded and fringe detailing. Despite the detailing the look possess an effortless overture, which is perfectly in tune with her style. I’m not so crazy about her hair, which has had a few inches chopped off since Friday’s photocall, but I do love the ruby lip for that much needed pop of colour.

2015 Tony Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 Tony Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The beauties at the 2015 Tony Awards, hosted on Sunday night (June 7) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, brought no shortage of sartorial drama with bold hues and glamorous style. Here, a look at more of the entrances on the red carpet.

Helen Mirren: Elegant as always, the actress wore a Badgley Mischka lace-embellished gown with Fred Leighton jewels and a Judith Leiber clutch. The wedding aisle would have been another appropriate venue for this dress.

Debra Messing: Although her Zac Posen dress was short, it delivered on the drama by virtue of the saturated violet hue that was especially striking with her auburn locks. While I normally find the matchy-matchy angle tiring, the tonal Judith Leiber clutch, sandals, and jewels all work in her favour here to create a streamlined, regal effect.

Calvin Klein Collection Celebrate Women In Film

The IFP, Calvin Klein Collection & euphoria Calvin Klein Celebrate Women In Film At The 68th Cannes Film Festival

Calvin Klein Collection recently celebrated women in film on Monday (May 18) during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France, where the stars aligned in Calvin Klein gowns, naturally.

Rachel Weisz: Opting for colour instead of a neutral palette, the British actress stood out in a salmon-pink halter gown that could have been a bit more tailored to her figure for maximum polish.

Mélanie Laurent: The French actress shimmered in her silver gown that maintained an unforced Parisian-chic flair as a result of the loose, languid silhouette and her barely-done hair and makeup.

Emily Blunt: Her ecru column gown was a study in streamlined and minimalistic sophistication, which she enhanced with Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and bronze statement earrings.

Sienna Miller: Like Mélanie, Sienna added the subtle layer of glitz to her look in a shiny backless dress in that forever-challenging length paired with metallic sandals.

2015 Met Gala Roundup

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

A flurry of even more bold names descended on red carpet of the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4), where their colourful variety of looks only contributed to this year’s fashion extravaganza.

Anna Wintour
: As the gala co-host, the ‘Vogue’ editor-in-chief dressed thematically (for her, anyway) in a Chanel Spring 2015 Couture gown featuring dimensional, all-over poppy embroidery, which had been lengthened from the runway’s original shorter version. She should have maintained her signature cap sleeve, as the flower petal statement shoulders translated as a bit cumbersome, despite their inherent artistry.

Bee Shaffer: Like her mother, Bee also found inspiration in flowers, opting for a mahogany blossom gown by Alexander McQueen. I much preferred this look to Anna’s, especially with the enchantment of the beautifully embroidered Chinese cranes that alighted down the back of the dress.
