Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

A few men have been out and about lately at the 57th Monte Carlo TV Festival, all striking quite the fine profiles as they made the red carpet rounds.

Matt Bomer: ‘The Last Tycoon’ actor cut a thoroughly handsome profile in an Ermenegildo Zegna Couture tuxedo styled with glossy Tod’s loafers on day 3 of the festival on Sunday (June 18). Wearing the shoes without socks created a suavely relaxed finish, perfectly suiting of his Monaco surroundings.

Justin Hartley: For day 2 of the festival on Saturday (June 17), the ‘This Is Us’ star looked sharp in a Strong Suit ensemble that was statement-making in its exploded plaid print yet easygoing in mood when styled without a tie.

Jussie Smollett: I love the rich texture and smart sheen of this Bottega Veneta Fall 2017 suit, which he wore so effortlessly with a casually unbuttoned white dress shirt and polished Cesare Paciotti shoes at the festival’s opening ceremony on Friday (June 16).

Kirsten Dunst In Marco de Vincenzo & Bottega Veneta – Out In New York & Late Night with Seth Meyers

Kirsten Dunst was spotted out and about in New York on Monday (June 19) before she made her way to the ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ show to continue promoting ‘The Beguiled’.

Out in New York: I love the frills on this Marco de Vincenzo plunging blouse and the slit on this high-waisted skirt, but I wonder if the dark colours are making this look feel a bit heavy. What are your thoughts? The oversized sunglasses and red shoes, however, are the perfect classic accompaniments for this look.

Late Night with Seth Meyers: Kirsten’s second look couldn’t have been more different. The yellow sherbet colour palette is uplifting and summery whilst the gold embellishments add some glamour. The Bottega Veneta Fall 2017 dress, with its puff sleeves and button front, has some retro Southern charm about it. Some might find the shoes heavy, but without them, the look might have become two-dimensional.

Kirsten Dunst In Bottega Veneta – ‘The Beguiled’ LA Photocall

Kirsten Dunst attended the LA photocall for ‘The Beguiled’ on Sunday (June 11).

Finding inspiration in the vintage, ’40s-inspired leanings of the Bottega Veneta Pre-Fall 2017 collection, she wore a sweetly elegant dress with nail-head studded embellishment across the neckline.

I love the prim charm of this frock on Kirsten. And while the black sandals wouldn’t have been my first choice, she redeemed the styling with her bright magenta lip for a touch of modern boldness.

Salma Hayek In Bottega Veneta – Sundance London Filmmaker And Press Breakfast

Salma Hayek attended the Sundance London Filmmaker and press breakfast earlier today (June 1) in London.

Her Bottega Veneta Spring 2017 dress doesn’t scream spring, yet it’s chic enough to be worn for all seasons.

I love the flattering fit, and the leather accents which she modified to give this dress a cold-shoulder feel and a touch more modernity.

Eva Herzigova In Bottega Veneta – Cannes Film Festival Sighting

Eva Herzigova arrived in Cannes, France yesterday in Roberto Cavalli, and wasted no time getting her gladrags on for day 1 of the Film Festival.

A gold lame Bottega Veneta gown worn during the day would raise eyebrows anywhere else but Cannes.

The look, which hails from the Fall 2017 collection, is mesmerizing on Eva. She looks even more statuesque than usual.

Styled with a signature knot clutch and cat-eye shades, I’m sure I don’t need to remind you that this is a re-run, as her gown was first worn by Elizabeth Debicki last month for the ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ LA premiere.

Diane Lane In Bottega Veneta – ‘Paris Can Wait’ LA Premiere

Diane Lane – one of my eternal girl crushes alongside Blake Likely, Lucy Liu, Iman, Elizabeth Banks and Zoe Saldana – attended the premiere of ‘Paris Can Wait’ on Thursday (May 11) in West Hollywood, California.

The gorgeous actress was in no hurry to Fall forward wearing an effortlessly breezy Bottega Veneta Spring 2017 two-piece look with a stray gold cuff and nude sandals.

I love the play on feminine utilitarian style, which remains chic with plenty of timeless appeal.

When Amanda Peet wore this look recently the comments ranged from “boring”, “too ageing”, to “this is the best she’s ever looked”.

So how does this look fare on Diane for you?
