Jacob Elordi Wore Bottega Veneta To The ‘Wuthering Heights’ Sydney Premiere

Clearly, the actor got the cool tones and blue memo, matching the new step-and-repeat for this final premiere in yet another Bottega Veneta suit.

The subtle pinstripes and double-breasted silhouette lend a tailored sharpness that suits him perfectly. The proportions through the torso are strong, and the tie keeps the look cohesive. From the waist up, this is a win.

But as I pan down, I have to pause.

We are not only faced with his ongoing preference for this trouser length, but we have a navy socks and off-white loafers situation.

It’s a combination that doesn’t quite work for me. The shoes can stay, but the socks need reconsidering; the contrast against the off-white loafers feels too stark for me.
