Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Devon Aoki was your best dressed this week.

The model looked stunning wearing a custom Alice + Olivia gown to the CFDA Fashion Awards. The beautiful colour and dramatic peplum of her red-and-black gown with a train was your favourite by a long margin.

Emma Stone was my favourite this week.

The Spiderman actress looked oh so very chic wearing a Martin Grant ensemble to the MTV Movie Awards.

Her black-and-ivory dress, which also had a dramatic peplum, was styled with complementary pumps a beautiful coral lip colour.

I’m hoping for more of this during her promo tour.

Shala Monroque: The socialite gaves us a double preview. The first her; cute bangs, the second is her Jason Wu Resort 2013 dress. The collection is yet to go live on Style.com yet this is our fourth look at the collection following Karlie Kloss, Diane Kruger and Jessica Stam. Shala’s look features a black knit top with white botanical beaded collar teamed with a black silk zibeline skirt with white botanical degrade beading. I have to say it is my favourite look from the collection so far. Black satin pumps and a Jason Wu ‘Karlie’ embroidered box clutch completed her look.

Heather Graham: The actress wore a custom cornflower-blue Nicole Miller gown with Nicole Miller shoes, Pamela Love jewelry and an embellished Marchesa clutch. I love the earthy, boho feel to this look.

Rachel Zoe: The stylist/designer wore her favourite colour: black, but it’s a sparkler as she dazzled in head-to-toe sequins.

Bringing an extra dose of drama to the evening, Devon Aoki looked gorgeous at the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards, held in New York City on Monday evening.

The supermodel was uber glamorous, wearing a red-and-black Alice + Olivia rose-printed striped gown.

Devon rocked the popular-as-ever peplum trend, which was balanced perfectly with a strapless neckline and subtle train.

Hair and makeup sell me on this look, pulling the entire ensemble together.

Ruby red lips to match the model’s box clutch and a side-swept bun completed the look.

Ariel Winter looked adorable on the red carpet at the 16th Annual Global Green USA Millennium Awards held at Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, California, on Saturday afternoon.

The teen star wore an Alice + Olivia Spring 2012 dress.

Her halter-style frock with a bold bouquet-floral print has a layered, ruffled skirt for added feminine flare.

Black pumps, red nails, a statement ring and a braided updo completed her look.

Even with the pumps, I really like this look. It’s cute, fun and age appropriate.

Jessica Alba was all smiles on the red carpet whilst attending the first West Coast FABB: Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference held at Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica, California, hosted by Lucky magazine.

She kept her look casual teaming an Alice + Olivia Fall 2012 grey knit sweater with an embellished tie with printed Topshop pants.

As Jessica has been embracing colour often on the red carpet these days, I’m not surprised she added the two-tone watermelon-and-pink toe-cap pumps.

Hoorsenbuhs for Forevermark earrings, glossy lips and wavy tresses completed her look.

You can buy Jessica’s Topshop pants from Topshop US and Topshop International.

Krysten Ritter was at The Grove in LA yesterday filming a segment for ‘Extra’ to promote her new series, ‘Don’t Trust The B…. in Apartment 23’.

She looked beautiful wearing an Alice + Olivia Fall 2012 belted dress.

Her black-and-white dotted flared ‘Camellia’ dress with a pleated skirt was styled with her signature blunt-cut bangs and black ballerina flats.

Shades and a spectacular pair of gold earrings completed her look.

This is the second time the actress has worn an Alice + Olivia dress whilst promoting this movie.
