Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kate Moss was the first to wear a piece from Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2014 collection, so maybe that was the indicator that she would front their Spring 2014 ad campaign – surprisingly, the first time the model has ever fronted a campaign for the British brand.

Sporting bright-yellow pixie-cropped hair, the 40-year-old model, who is celebrating 25 years in the business, was captured by photographer Steven Klein for the futuristic campaign, which was inspired by the 1960 cult thriller ‘Peeping Tom’.

Wearing a selection of pieces including a gladiator-esque alligator bra and pleated gym skirt, each image featured a voodoo-doll-like mini me.

Kate also stars in a nearly-five-minutes-long video to accompany the brand’s Spring 2014 ad campaign, which tells the chilling tale of a girl being stalked by a sniper on the city streets.

Felicity Jones In Alexander McQueen - 'The Invisible Woman' London Premiere

Felicity Jones looked radiant on the red carpet for the London premiere of ‘The Invisible Woman’ held at the Odeon Kensington on Monday (January 27).

Sporting a wavy bob and vampy red lips, the British actress wore a beautiful gown from Alexander McQueen’s Resort 2014 collection.

Alexander McQueen’s creations are always stacked with drama, and this floor-length gown is no exception.

Felicity’s halter gown with striking gold-tone sparkles, which consisted of a shimmering sequin-and-crystal-accented bodice and a black satin skirt, was styled with a complementary clutch and gold-tipped pumps.

In one shot, this gives me all the glamour and drama that was lacking from the Grammys red carpet.

Priyanka Chopra In Alexander McQueen - 2014 Idea FilmFare Awards

Priyanka Chopra attended the 2014 Idea FilmFare Awards in Mumbai, India on Friday (January 23).

The Bollywood beauty wore an Alexander McQueen Spring 2014 embellished peplum strapless gown styled with a stunning pair of Atelier Mon earrings and wavy side-swept locks.

Priyanka looks breathtaking. This is not even a question – but what, perhaps, is questionable is why she would wear the same gown as someone so high profile.

You may remember that Naomie Harris wore this same gown to the royal premiere for ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ nearly two months ago.

I have never quite understood why one actress would want to follow in another’s footsteps, because the focus, for me at least, switches from how good you look in the dress to who looked better in the dress.

You can buy Priyanka’s Alexander McQueen Peplum Gown from Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

Cyndi Lauper In Alexander McQueen – 2014 Grammy Awards

Cyndi Lauper walked the red carpet at the 2014 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (January 26) in Los Angeles, California.

The American legend went with an Alexander McQueen cape and pants ensemble.

Adding to the eccentricity, Lauper wore a massive gold choker, chain bracelets and Jimmy Choo gold shoes.

I always expect to be surprised by the rockstar in more ways than one and this time her electric red hair with smokey eyes and red lips did not disappoint.

Too much or everything you expected from Cyndi?

Allison Williams In Alexander McQueen - 'Girls' Season 3 London Premiere

Allison Williams joined Lena Dunham and Zosia Mamet for the UK premiere of ‘Girls’ Season 3 held at Cineworld Haymarket on Wednesday (January 15) in London.

With her co-stars opting for a cocktail dress and jumpsuit respectively, it’s fair to say that Allison is totally overdressed for the occasion.

Had the premiere been in Leicester Square for a movie this would’ve been perfect, but I feel that this Alexander McQueen Spring 2014 halter gown with a colourful embroidered neckline deserved a far grander occasion.

I will do a slight U-turn and say that Allison does look amazing in this gown.

That red lip was a perfect way to further enliven the embroidery on her frock, her body looks outstanding and I much prefer this look over the McQueen gown she wore to the Globes on Sunday, but I still feel like this was a terrible waste – especially when Alexander McQueen gowns are so few and far between on the red carpet.
