Models @ The 2014 2014 British Fashion Awards

A host of models held court at the 2014 British Fashion Awards, where the runway stunners took to the red carpet at the London Coliseum in London, England on Monday (December 1).

Daisy Lowe: She may have been dressed in shades of blush-pink, but there was a sexy side to all that sweetness with her Antonio Berardi asymmetrical, figure-hugging gown that was slit to her hip. A heart-embellished clutch by Charlotte Olympia finished the look on a lighthearted note.

Suki Waterhouse: From shades of pink to shades of blue, the model subscribed to the sheer trend in a Burberry Prorsum Spring 2015 tiered and pleated, navy ombre-inspired frock that was perhaps one shade too see-through. Gold metallic sandals provided a spirited contrast, but the baby-blue edged purse had no business here.

Joan Smalls: This Tom Ford scoop-neck LBD was sliced and diced with side cutouts and slits galore. She completed the skin-baring look with black Givenchy heels and a Rauwolf clutch.

Bee Shaffer In Alexander McQueen & Anna Wintour In John Galliano for Maison Martin Margiela

Bee Shaffer In Alexander McQueen & Anna Wintour In John Galliano for Maison Martin Margiela

Bee Shaffer and Anna Wintour were every bit the voguish mother-daughter duo on the red carpet of the 2014 British Fashion Awards, hosted on Monday (December 1) at the London Coliseum in London, England.

Bee Shaffer: She paid homage to the label that won the evening’s Red Carpet Designer nod with her Alexander McQueen Spring 2015 metallic gold frock. Featuring a harness-inspired bodice and A-line skirt, the dress meshed its Midas touch with a power-warrior spirit and feminine edge, especially when styled with that super-sleek ponytail.

Anna Wintour: Coordinating but not matching her daughter, Anna donned a John Galliano for Maison Martin Margiela floor-length, printed black gown and furry ivory shrug as she picked up the Outstanding Achievement Award from the designer himself.

Perhaps both sets of sandals could have been improved upon, but I’ll focus on the ankles up. Like mother, like daughter?

2014 London Evening Standard Theatre Awards Menswear Roundup

2014 London Evening Standard Theatre Awards Menswear Roundup

David Beckham wasn’t the only handsome gent on the red carpet for the 60th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards held at the London Palladium on Sunday (November 30) in London, England.

Benedict Cumberbatch: The actor looked very smart and handsome on the red carpet, decked in a peek lapel suit before his presenting duties at the event. Once again my eyes headed straight to his lovely fiancée, director Sophie Hunter, who again wore an Erdem gown, this time selecting a Pre-Fall 2014 Bayleigh jacquard gown rendered with bubblegum, burgundy and merlot roses.

Tom Hiddleston: Prepare to swoon once again, this time for the winner of the Best Actor award, Tom Hiddleston, who looked very dapper in his black Alexander McQueen shawl collar tuxedo styled with a tonal skull bow tie and skull cufflinks. He was giving Becks a run for his money when it comes to best dressed male at this event.

Carey Mulligan In Alexander McQueen – 2014 London Evening Standard Theatre Awards

Carey Mulligan In Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2014 - 2014 London Evening Standard Theatre Awards

Carey Mulligan presented the Best Design Award during at the 60th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards held at the London Palladium on Sunday (November 30) in London, England.

The British actress wore an Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2014 black satin ruffled dress with black Alexander McQueen ‘Armadillo’ sandals.

I don’t know about you but my first reaction to this was “what a waste”.

Such a stunning dress deserved a red carpet moment and frankly better styling.

It’s rare that McQueen can look so blah, but Carey managed to make the impossible, possible.

Amal Alamuddin Clooney In Alexander McQueen – London Heathrow Airport

Amal Alamuddin Clooney In Alexander McQueen – London Heathrow Airport

George Clooney and his wife Amal were spotted making their way through London Heathrow Airport on Thursday (November 27).

Earlier this week there was much debate about her £4,000 Dolce & Gabbana airport look.

Here she opted for a more casual, some would say more appropriate airport look. Yet it still consisted of pieces which would amount to the same hefty price tag as her previous look.

Amal wore a beige Alexander McQueen python jacket which would cost north of £3,000, a simple white tee, ripped jeans, Ash leather buckle wedge sneakers, Prada sunglasses and a Balenciaga Giant bag which is another £1,000.

I know price wasn’t the main issue with her Dolce look; however, this look proves to those who tagged her as an overdresser that perhaps, as some suggested, she was leaving/on her way to a meeting wearing that Dolce dress.

Or, she just wanted to wear the dress. Why the hell not?

Kim Kardashian In Balmain, Alexander McQueen & Torn by Ronny Kobo – ‘Fleur Fatale’ Dubai Fragrance Launch

Kim Kardashian In Balmain, Alexander McQueen & Torn by Ronny Kobo - 'Fleur Fatale' Dubai Fragrance Launch

Kim Kardashian is currently in Dubai where she is promoting her latest fragrance ‘Fleur Fatale’.

She kicked off her Monday night (November 24) with a launch event at Parfum Monde, before celebrating with an after party.

Launch Event: The reality star showed off her famous curves in a black Balmain knotted crop top with high-waisted Alexander McQueen smart trousers. Had she not been wearing a crop top, I would’ve been convinced she was wearing a corset of some kind, as she has a minuscule waist. The look was again complete with slicked-back tresses finished off with a bright red lip.

Party: Her second curve-enhancing look of the evening was a white Torn by Ronny Kobo halter dress rendered with a sleek allure with its sleek silhouette. Keeping the same hairstyle, the look was accessorized with her favourite Givenchy sandals.
