Charlize Theron Serves Three Looks Promoting ‘The Old Guard 2’
Monday was anything but monotonous for Charlize Theron, who packed in three TV appearances across New York City while promoting her latest Netflix action outing, The Old Guard 2. And in a welcome twist, not a single white shirt and black blazer combo in sight.

The Today Show
Trading in that aforementioned white shirt for a pink one trimmed with navy, the actress might’ve heard your plea for something less déjà vu — and this look can’t be accused of that. It was simple, refined, and relaxed—delivering a burst of colour that felt surprisingly fresh, yet oh-so-Charlize.

Watch What Happens Live
From easygoing elegance to edgy day-time drama, Charlize switched gears in a look from McQueen’s Spring 2025 collection. The black wool-cashmere piece with cobweb lace trim had its gothic romance moment, but the mini skirt—complete with distressed chain embroidery—was the star of the show. Unfortunately, those McQueen caged sandals made another appearance. No matter how many times they come back, I just can’t be persuaded. They weren’t it on Raffey Cassidy, and they’re not it here either—especially when they look at least a size too big. A sleeker heel would’ve made a world of difference.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
Charlize rounded off her day with what felt like a return to form. Dressed in Givenchy Spring 2025, the blush high-neck pleated knit body was a beautiful contrast to the structure of her double-breasted twisted seam suit. It was the perfect blend of softness and strength.

And yes, there was the blazer—because did you really think we were getting through three Charlize looks in one day without one? Her Givenchy black leather Twisted Ribbon sandals tied the look together, but for me, the magic was in her hair down and that blazer draped just so.

It was Charlize doing what she does best—effortless tailoring, understated glamour, but with a rare footwear mistep.
