Taraji P. Henson In Mary Katrantzou – ‘Mud’ New York Screening

Taraji P Henson In Mary Katrantzou - 'Mud' New York Screening

Taraji P. Henson joined Reese Witherspoon on the red carpet on Sunday evening for the screening of ‘Mud’ at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Opting for a bold print, the actress wore a Mary Katrantzou Spring 2013 frock.

The ‘Star Sailor’ stamp-print long-sleeved dress was statement enough, so as much as I loved these Nicholas Kirkwood heels on Jada Pinkett-Smith, they are overkill on this occasion.

Taraji P. Henson In Kenzo & Helmut Lang – ‘Versus And Flow’ Live

Taraji P Henson In Kenzo & Helmut Lang - 'Versus And Flow' Live

Taraji P. Henson attended ‘Versus And Flow’ Live at The Liberty Warehouse in New York City yesterday evening.

With so many stars opting for summery colours, Taraji worked a maroon-hued fall look.

I have these exact Kenzo Pre-Fall 2013 clouded leopard jacquard pants on my Matches Fashion wishlist, so I’m taking notes on how she styled them with a maroon Helmut Lang collarless blazer with a black contrast leather insert at the neckline.

The knitted top isn’t to my liking, however, and while I do like her maroon pumps with this look, I would be rocking these pants with strappy sandals.

2012 BET Awards

The 2012 BET Awards was held at The Shrine Auditorium in LA on Sunday evening with several stars taking to the red carpet.

Selita Ebanks: The model sported a sexy, futuristic look wearing a Falguni and Shane Peacock dress with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. The silver clutch doesn’t work for me, even with the silver bead work on her dress, but the rest of her look scores highly.

La La Vazquez-Anthony: The TV personality opted for a ‘Studio 54-esque’ look wearing a shimmering Lois London jumpsuit. Her top-notch styling included a vintage Versace belt, Jimmy Choo heels and complementary Loren Ridinger jewels. A side-swept ponytail completed her look.

Monica Brown: The singer looked sensational rocking a berry-coloured look which featured a structured blazer and sequin pants.

Who Wore Randi Rahm Better? Taraji P. Henson or Miranda Lambert

Taraji P. Henson shone as brightly as her ‘Outstanding Actress’ award which she was honoured with at the 2012 NAACP Image Awards back in February.

The actress graced the red carpet wearing a silver Randi Rahm beaded gown with crystal web-like sequins and crystal diamante detailing.

A grey clutch and subtle silver jewels completed her look.

Country singer Miranda Lambert wore the same gown in gold while picking up multiple awards including ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ and ‘Album of the Year’ at the 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards last month.

Looking equally stunning, Miranda also matched her jewels with her dress, adding Fred Leighton gold earrings.

The gown obviously has the Midas touch, but Taraji wins for me.

Whilst I love the gown in gold, I feel Miranda should’ve worn her hair up.

Taraji P. Henson In Black Halo – The Wendy Williams Show

Taraji P. Henson was spotted leaving ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ in New York City on Monday, following her guest appearance to promote her movie, ‘Think Like A Man’.

The actress looked beautiful wearing a very familiar dress by Black Halo.

This classic ‘Jacki O’ pencil dress with cowl neck and cap sleeves has been worn by everyone from Kim Kardashian to Katherine Heigl as the dress is reproduced every season in a different print, colour or fabric.

Taraji selected their new lily-pond-print dress which she teamed with moss-green Fendi sandals.

Wavy locks and a beautiful hot-pink lip colour to match her nail polish completed her look.
