Who Wore Mary Katrantzou Better…Shailene Woodley or Natalie Dormer?

Who Wore Mary Katrantzou Better Shailene Woodley or Natalie Dormer

Shailene Woodley wore a Mary Katrantzou Pre-Fall 2015 frock while promoting ‘Insurgent’ on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ back in March, before Natalie Dormer wore the same dress earlier this month while attending the ‘Game of Thrones’ panel during Comic-Con.

I had to go with Shailene on this one because I much preferred her shoe choice.

Shortening the dress was also a good call as the original length comes across as mumsy on Natalie.

Shailene Woodley In Isabel Marant – 2015 MTV Movie Awards

Shailene Woodley In Isabel Marant - 2015 MTV Movie Awards

Shailene Woodley attended the 2015 MTV Movie Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (April 12) in Los Angeles, California.

The multiple nominee and MTV Trailblazer Award recipient marched to the beat of her own style drum in an Isabel Marant Fall 2015 ensemble.

While we finally saw her hit a style groove during her ‘Insurgent’ promo tour, her latest sartorial concoction on Sunday night took a few steps backward.

With her statuesque height, she could have certainly had a fighting chance to pull off the high-waisted, patterned pants and stacked, black ankle boots form the runway.

Where the look veered slightly off-course was in the exchange of the runway’s nautical-inspired sweater for a scoop-neck, striped top, which gave it an ’80s Jazzercise flair.

Who Wore Valentino Better…Shailene Woodley or Fan Bingbing?

Who Wore Valentino Better Shailene Woodley or Fan Bingbing

Shailene Woodley attended the 18th Annual Hollywood Film Awards back in November wearing a gorgeous star embroidered Valentino Spring 2015 gown, styled with her favourite gold pendant necklace.

Fan Bingbing wore the same gown earlier this year to the Hong Kong opening of a Valentino store.

This may have been an easy win for Bingbing, as this style of gown is very much her red carpet M.O. Sadly, that modified neckline ruins this look for me, so this was an easy win for Shailene.

Which Was Your Favourite Shailene Woodley ‘Insurgent’ Promo Tour Look?

Which Was Your Favourite Shailene Woodley ‘Insurgent' Promo Tour Look

After six red carpet looks, Shailene Woodley’s promo tour for ‘Insurgent’ has come to an end.

Starting in London with Ralph Lauren, the actress moved onto Denmark where she wore J. Mendel, which from your comments was your least favourite look of the tour.

Things improved in Berlin when she wore a brightly hued Emilia Wickstead, as this was regarded as the best look at that point.

For her chat with Letterman, she put forth an uber girlie vibe in Mary Katrantzou, before fading into the background in a simple black Ralph Lauren gown for the New York premiere, where she was outshone by her co-stars.

The tour came to an end with her chicest look yet from Elie Saab, which was by far my favourite. I wish this had been the New York premiere look.

Shailene Woodley made a guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ to continue to promote her latest movie, ‘Insurgent’ on Tuesday (March 17).

While Shailene’s promo tour hasn’t really set my world on fire, this Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2015 jumpsuit sent her in a fresh, exciting direction.

We all know the actress is a tomboy at heart, so the androgynous tailoring amped up with the colourful embroidered bodice is her perfect answer to evening dressing.

Shailene Woodley In Ralph Lauren - 'Insurgent' New York Premiere

Shailene Woodley stood alongside Zoe Kravitz and Ashley Judd at the ‘Insurgent’ New York premiere at Ziegfeld Theater on Monday (March 16) in New York City.

She donned a Ralph Lauren Fall 2015 black dress—a sharply tailored, tuxedo-inspired design that was very much in keeping with her more straightforward, minimalistic aesthetic.

The statuesque actress can easily pull off a plunge silhouette and leggy, front slit, but the overall effect just didn’t feel quite special enough for the occasion.

And, yet again, her lacklustre hair also is putting me off fully appreciating the look, as it appears unfinished.
