Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Best Dressed Award
I would never have expected to crown Nicole Kidman Best Dressed at the 2011 Grammy Awards, but she totally blew me away.

She’s appears to be back to her best.

We’ve been sensing from her recent red carpet looks that she’s loving dressing up on the red carpet again.

This strapless floral Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 Couture mermaid gown actually manages to give Nicole some curves.

She was radiant on the red carpet. I can’t help revisiting this picture.

Nicole Kidman was the surprise star to walk the red carpet last night at the New York Premiere for Jennifer Aniston’s new movie, “Just Go With It.”

We shouldn’t be surprised to see the Australian actress wearing L’Wren Scott.

Her Fall 2010 ensemble is very different in that it’s all leather with an added a nude pussy bow blouse.

The style, shape and silhouette are classic Nicole and typically L’Wren which is why they work so well together.

I still feel the change from Nicole. I love the volume in her hair but I just wish her body language was more relaxed.

Finally Nicole Kidman seems to be having fun on the red carpet again.

We all had the impression that she just wasn’t that into fashion anymore, but she proves us wrong by wearing this papaya YSL Spring 2011 dress.

She wore the dress to the 83rd Academy Awards nominations luncheon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California this afternoon.

The YSL halter silk chiffon bow blouse dress with a black fingerprint motif and flounce hem was paired with orange strappy Pierre Hardy heels.

This modern dress was slightly toned down as Nicole opted for her dress not to have such a deep plunge.

I can’t find fault with this look. In fact I love it.

Nicole Kidman was honored with the Cinema Vanguard Award Tribute during the 26th Annual Santa Barbara Film Festival in California this weekend.

She looked sophisticated wearing a Nina Ricci trench coat dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

The ivory silk crepe shirt dress was accented with a beige leather belt.

The refreshingly light look was paired with grey Pierre Hardy sandals and Fred Leighton earrings.

I’m so glad not pumps or tights were using in the styling of this look.

We’ve seen Nicole wearing so many dark colours so this look comes as quite a surprise.

Nicole Kidman graces the March 2011 Marie Claire UK issue wearing a Dolce and Gabbana white lace dress and Diane Kordas star hooped earrings.

Inside we see the Australian actress channeling boho chic wearing an Alberta Ferretti maxi dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

She talks candidly about her ‘lost years’ and happiness, busting Hollywood myths and finding love in Tennessee.

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On Botox: “Well, I move my forehead, I frown…I tried it, I didn’t like it, so I’ve gone back to my own forehead. But I’ve never had plastic surgery on my face. People say I have but I haven’t.” Read more…

Most Improved, But Still Lacking Colour Award
Nicole Kidman continued her love affair with Nina Ricci at the 2011 SAG Awards last night.

With her hubby Keith Urban as her plus one, Nicole looked stunning wearing a Nina Ricci black crepe dress with lace detailing from the Pre-Fall 2011 collection

The dress which had a sexy back lace panel was also accented with bows.

Her hair was a bit messy and uncontrolled for her, but I really liked it.

This dress instantly reminded me of the Clements Ribeiro dress Nicole wore last year.

Nicole styled her look with an exquisite Fred Leighton necklace.
