Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Marion Cotillard attended the 2012 London Film Festival on Saturday evening for the premiere of her latest movie, ‘Rust and Bone’.

Even though Jennifer Lawrence is the new face of Miss Dior handbags, no one else (aside from Charlize Theron, perhaps) was going to be the first to wear a look from the Christian Dior Spring 2013 collection.

Marion opted for one of the simpler pieces, wearing a black sleeveless dress featuring a skirt with a pleated back and asymmetrical hemline.

Never one to disappoint when it comes to accessories, Marion wore two-tone Dior Spring 2013 pointed-toe pumps and carried a black Dior clutch.

A wavy hairstyle, flawless makeup and Chopard jewels completed her London premiere look.

The shoes are the only thing really getting me through this look, as the rest feels a bit too bare.

After months out of the spotlight, Marion Cotillard made a return to the red carpet back in October of last year to promote her hit movie ’Contagion’ in Paris, France.

She wore a Christian Dior black-and-white graphic checked dress with coral Christian Dior chain-link pumps from the Spring 2012 collection.

Side-sweeping tresses and a sweet coral lip colour completed her look.

Sonia Sui wore the same dress last month while attending a press conference for ‘The Fierce Wife ─Woman Onerous: Seeking Mr. Right’ in Taipei, Taiwan.

Her shoe choice was more subtle, opting for Louis Vuitton toe-cap pumps.

A simple ponytail and silver jewels completed her look.

Even though I’m not a fan of white pumps, I will still give this to Sonia as I don’t like the style or the colour of Marion’s shoes with her dress.

Marion Cotillard stayed true to her Gallic roots for the premiere of her film ‘Rust & Bone’ at the Toronto Film Festival last night.

The French actress chose a grey Christian Dior Couture piece from the Fall 2012 collection for the event.

The neckline works well on Marion, as does the demure length. The blink-and-you’ll-miss-it nod to a peplum also adds an interesting detail.

She finished off her look with blue heels, a gold cuff and a sleek side-swept updo.

Raf Simons couldn’t have chosen a better lady to debut his debut collection for Christian Dior.

Marion Cotillard looked breathtaking on the red carpet at the London premiere of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ this week.

Making up for frou-frou confection from the New York premiere, the French actress looked chic, sexy and modern on this occasion.

What I loved most about this look were her choice of red accessories and her faux bob hairstyle.

Marion Cotillard was perfection personified as she took to the red carpet this evening at the Odeon Leicester Square for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ London premiere.

Even the rain couldn’t dampen her spirits. She was radiant wearing a Christian Dior Fall 2012 Couture dress.

I knew it wouldn’t be long before she got her hands on this collection, being the face of the brand.

Her strapless frock with an orange-textured top and printed skirt was accented with a gold metal waistband.

I swoon over her accessories which included a Dior red clutch and Dior red pumps that matched her bold lip colour.

Sporting a silver bracelet, she completed her chic Parisian look with a faux bob.

Are you in love with this look as much as I am?

I was most excited to see what Marion Cotillard would wear to the New York premiere for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ which was held at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater.

Sadly, the excitement was short lived.

The French actress wore an ivory Christian Dior Couture frou-frou creation with a ruffled skirt which instantly reminded me of Bjork’s 2001 Oscar swan dress, without the swan head of course.

Marion can do so much better than this lacklustre dress, but that’s not all.

Her silver Christian Louboutin ‘Lady Max’ heels don’t work with the delicate nature of her dress. The dress tells one story and the shoes contradict it.

The only things I do like are her Chopard earrings, but in the close-up I was shocked to discover her orange eye makeup.

A huge disappointment all round.

You can buy Marion’s Christian Louboutin ‘Lady Max’ spike-embellished metallic leather sandals from Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.
