‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story’ London Screening

A dynamic trio of trend-forward stars were at the screening of ‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story’ in London on Tuesday (May 16).

Salma Hayek: Salma prettified this Gucci Resort 2017 ensemble by wearing the strong, plaid skirt with a feminine ruffle blouse and sculpted heels, although the leather jacket did contribute a tougher edge. It was a solid effort for Salma; I was just slightly bothered by the fit of the skirt around the hips, as I would have preferred a more streamlined finish.

Lupita Nyong’o: I was delighted to see Lupita back on the red carpet in this statement-making Fendi Spring 2017 ensemble that brought in her love of bold hues with the red turtleneck sweater. It takes a certain talent to pull off the directional edge of the crop top and those cropped parachute pants, and she definitely fit the bill. Plus, her styling and her beauty look were on point from top to toe.

Naomi Campbell: The supermodel was not ready to bid adieu to sheer yet, as she wore it in a lace top with this decorative, sexy spin on suiting from the Alexander McQueen Spring 2017 collection. Her sleek bob helped increase the chic factor of the look.

Lupita Nyong’o In Prada – 2017 Met Gala

It’s been a while since we saw Lupita Nyong’o on the red carpet, but judging by her Prada gown worn to the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1), it would appear she hasn’t lost that magic touch.

I was very excited not only by the bright coral hue, but also by the organza flowers across the neckline which cascaded down the back adding plenty of flare.

Colour has always been the foundation of Lupita’s style, so if you don’t witness it in the dress, you’re bound to catch some colour in her makeup.

Was the rainbow eye shadow a step too far, or are you loving the creativity of the look?

Lupita Nyong’o In Proenza Schouler – ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ London Premiere

Lupita Nyong’o joined Daisy Ridley for the premiere of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ at Leicester Square on Wednesday (December 16) in London, England.

Fully awakening the futuristic fashion force within her, she wore a Proenza Schouler Spring 2016 directional ensemble that was nothing short of business on the top and party on the bottom.

While the peplum-inspired, criss-cross top translated rather heavily, the sheer mesh, pearl-studded skirt lightened up the look.

I have a feeling that the galactic blue lip, silver statement earrings, and mesh hair accessory will have taken the whole look slightly into costume-y territory for many of you.

But you have to admire her willingness to push the boundaries—and the fact that she wasn’t wearing solid pumps.

Lupita Nyong’o made a guest appearance on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ on Monday (December 14) in Los Angeles, where she continued to promote her hit movie, ‘’Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ prior to the movie’s LA premiere.

We’re all well aware of the David Koma’s talents, but here his deft tailoring skills really came into play when he created this side zip belted jacket, which despite its detailing doesn’t look overworked.

The look was brought together with an swing dual-colour skirt also from the Spring 2016 collection, and a Wolford bodysuit.

I was delighted she opted for light-pink pumps here, as black would’ve really weighed down the look.

Lupita Nyong’o attended the premiere of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ on Monday (December 14) in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore a Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2015 Couture silver and green crystal encrusted gown which shone brightly on the red carpet.

With all that sparkle I should be foaming at the mouth with excitement, but I’m not, as those black bands around the waist are so unforgiving.

Had this been worn on someone taller, with a longer torso – like the runway model – perhaps I could’ve got on board with this, but I’m not a fan of this on Lupita.

The look was complete with Chopard jewels.
