Leighton Meester In Narciso Rodriguez - 'Like Sunday, Like Rain' Mill Valley Film Festival Premiere

Leighton Meester attended the premiere of ‘Like Sunday, Like Rain’ held at the Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center on Monday (October 6) in San Rafael, California during the Mill Valley Film Festival.

Unlike Hilary Swank and Elle Fanning, the actress took a more laidback approach to this festival wearing a chic Narciso Rodriguez Resort 2015 look featuring a black top paired with black, blue and white vine-print trousers offering a modern twist to contemporary tailoring.

Some of you felt – judging from her last look – that Leighton’s shoe game currently isn’t as strong as it used to be, so you’ll be delighted to see her rocking a pair of electric-blue Brian Atwood ‘Besame’ satin pumps which really pop with this look.

Leighton Meester In Balmain - 'The Judge' LA Premiere

Leighton Meester attended the premiere of ‘The Judge’ held at AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Wednesday (October 1) in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress opted for classic black and white, wearing a Balmain Resort 2015 dress with a textured body and a black skirt spliced with ivory satin panels which just oozes the brand’s signature structure.

Giving the look a feminine flourish, Leighton styled her frock with lace Jimmy Choo pumps and a gold Ferragamo clutch.

There is a part of me which is aching for edgier shoes, or even an open-toe bootie like the model; however, I love everything about this grown-up edgy elegant look.

Leighton Meester In Antonio Berardi – 2014 Tony Awards

Leighton Meester In Antonio Berardi - 2014 Tony Awards

Leighton Meester, who is currently starring on Broadway in the revival of the classic play ‘Of Mice and Men’, was one of the guest presenters at the 68th Annual Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday (June 8) in New York City.

The former ‘Gossip Girl’ actress, who made her first red carpet appearance with husband Adam Brody at the awards, wore an Antonio Berardi Pre-Fall 2014 look, opting for the ivory version over the embellished black gown which appears in the designer’s look book.

The lack of embellishments takes nothing away from the elegance of this floor-skimming contemporary piece, exquisitely crafted with a tailored silhouette, fitted through the body before flaring slightly from the hips.

Rocking a retro ‘do, the actress styled her look with an Emm Kuo clutch and Jacob & Co. jewels including a spiderweb ear cuff.

Diane Kruger wore the look book version to the InStyle and Warner Brothers Golden Globes Awards Party earlier this year.

Leighton Meester rocked a gilded look as she made her way down the red carpet at the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

The newly married star wore a long-sleeved, gold Emilio Pucci gown from the Fall 2014 collection.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times: I love a long-sleeved look on the red carpet.

I also adore this boho-inspired silhouette, and Leighton pulls it off perfectly. Even with both a deep V and high leg slit, the whole thing manages to be elegant, not overt. I’m seriously smitten.

Keeping her perfectly ombréd lob down was a genius move that completes this chic ensemble.

Despite how much I like this look, something tells me that not everyone will agree. So, let’s hear what you think!

Leighton Meester In Emporio Armani - 'Life Partners' Tribeca Film Festival

Leighton Meester attended the ‘Life Partners’ screening during the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival held at SVA Theater on Friday (April 18) in New York City.

Keeping the momentum going from the ‘Of Mice and Men’ opening night party, she stunned once again wearing an Emporio Armani Spring 2014 metallic blue shift dress with a ribbed skirt in a darker shade of blue.

I’m not sure how you feel about the accessories, which including nude Emporio Armani double strap sandals and grey satin clutch, but I’m delighted to see a look which isn’t too matchy matchy for a refreshing change (despite being a fan of matchy looks, let me not totally contradict myself).

Working a fresh faced look she swept her hair back into a low, neat ponytail with Jacob and Co. jewels completing her effortless look.
