Who Wore Dolce & Gabbana Better…Lea Seydoux, Julia Restoin Roitfeld or Sienna Miller?

Who Wore Dolce & Gabbana Better Lea Seydoux, Julia Restoin Roitfeld or Sienna Miller

Dolce & Gabbana’s floral-print dresses are always a favourite among celebrities, but this particular baby-doll sundress infused with a summer-fruits print and subtle sequin detailing has been donned by three lovely ladies this summer.

Lea Seydoux gave this frock and the Christian Louboutin ‘Lagoula’ sandals their red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival photocall for her movie ‘La Vie D’Adele’.

Dolce devotee Julia Restoin Roitfeld kept the summery vibe of her dress going with a white Dolce bag and light-green wedges.

Finally, Sienna Miller attended the BMW i3 Global Reveal event, styling her frock with Charlotte Olympia ‘Sugar High’ sandals, opulent earrings and a watermelon lip colour.

This is one of the hardest WWIB posts I have ever done. Each lady wore it – and, most importantly, styled it – well.

I wanted to give this to Julia for considering the colour palette of her dress when selecting her accessories, but in the end I gave this win to Lea. Mostly because her styling was the most simple and effortless, allowing the dress to be the focus.

Christian Dior Fall 2013 Couture Front Row

Christian Dior Fall 2013 Couture Front Row

Several stars arrived at the Hotel Des Invalides in Paris, France this afternoon for the Christian Dior Fall 2013 Couture presentation, with Marion Cotillard as the surprise absentee.

Jennifer Lawrence: The Oscar-winning actress and current face of Miss Dior was of course front row, getting a first look at her next red carpet look, no doubt. Jennifer selected a printed pastel-metallic guipure top with charcoal wool trousers with a stripe down one side and pleats down the other from the Resort 2014 collection. Black Dior sunglasses, shoes and a Dior fine jewelry ‘Bois de Rose’ bracelet. You are expecting me to say that I dislike the black pumps; well, I am too busy saving all my dislike for those pants. The colour, the style, the pleats: nothing about them work for me.

Miroslava Duma: After a pretty lacklustre weekend fashion-wise, Miroslava finally gives me a red carpet look I can love. The fashion editor selected a Dior Resort 2014 ivory bustier dress with blue-, orange- and pink-striped panels, which she styled with an Hermes black bag and lust-worthy blue pumps.

Olivia Palermo: The socialite, who is a regular in the front row at Dior, wore a full Dior look. Usually she marches to the beat of her own drum and will wear even high-street looks like Zara and Topshop to Fashion week; on this occasion she wore a Dior white jacket paired with a pink-and-blue organza skirt with all-Dior accessories, including cuffs on both wrists, an embellished belt, and a white clutch. I love everything bar the skirt. I almost wish the jacket was long enough to pass off as a dress.

Who Wore Louis Vuitton Better…Lea Seydoux or Olivia Palermo?

Who Wore Louis Vuitton Better Lea Seydoux or Olivia Palermo

Back in October last year, French actress Lea Seydoux attended the London Film Festival premiere for ‘Sister’ wearing a Louis Vuitton Resort 2013 beautifully detailed white and cream dress. Her ode to the 60?s dress was styled with bright-pink pumps, a matching lip colour, and a gold metallic clutch.

Last month, Olivia Palermo was captured in the same dress while attending the Louis Vuitton Maison opening in Munich, Germany.

She frequently mixes high-end brands with high street, so I was not surprised to see her frock styled with Zara heels.

Pink was such an unexpected choice when it came to styling this frock; however, I love the more complement tan hue of Olivia’s Zara sandals.

Adele Exarchopoulos In Gucci & Lea Seydoux In Maxime Simoens Couture – ‘Zulu’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere and Closing Ceremony

'Zulu' Premiere And Closing Ceremony - The 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Co-stars and BFFs, Adele Exarchopoulos and Lea Seydoux were back on the red carpet this evening at the Palais des Festivals in France for the ‘Zulu’ premiere and Closing Ceremony for the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

Adele Exarchopoulos: After working some sexy mini frocks during this festival, Adele opted for a change of pace, wearing an ethereal Gucci white one-shoulder gown with a ruffled neckline and nipped in waist, which she styled with a gold clutch.

Lea Seydoux: Looking very elegant wearing Chopard jewels, Lea opted for another simple yet beautiful look wearing a Maxime Simoens Couture custom gown. The black silk crêpe gown is featuring a faux white jacket enriched with Swarovski and silver clasp a the waist might just be my favourite from Lea during this festival. A red-and-black embroidered Christian Louboutin clutch added a pop of colour to her look. Was the contrasting red clutch too harsh for you?.

Lea Seydoux In Elie Saab & Adele Exarchopoulos In Balmain – ‘Le Grand Journal’

Lea Seydoux In Elie Saab & Adele Exarchopoulos In Balmain - 'Le Grand Journal'

Prior to taking to the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘La Vie D’Adele’, French actresses Lea Seydoux and Adele Exarchopoulos made a guest appearance on ‘Le Grand Journal’ for French TV channel Canal+.

Lea Seydoux: The beautiful actress wore a long-sleeved Elie Saab Fall 2013 lace dress with a fit-and-flare silhouette, which she styled with a delightful pair of fuchsia-pink Christian Louboutin peep-toes which matched her nail polish. The pops of pink make this look. I have loved all her looks during Cannes. The secret has been the effortless styling.

Adele Exarchopoulos: The actress is fast becoming a favourite. She wore a Balmain Resort 2013 black-and-white harlequin-and-striped jumpsuit, which she styled simply with black pumps. Balmain clearly works well with her; however, I would be interested to see her wear other designers to mix things up in the future.

Lea Seydoux and Adele Exarchopoulos were inseparable once again this evening as they took to the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere for ‘La Vie D’Adele’ premiere on Thursday evening.

Adele Exarchopoulos: The French actress wore a Balmain ensemble from the Spring 2013 collection. Her silver, white and black harlequin woven look was styled with a Mel C tight ponytail and simple black pumps.

Lea Seydoux: Lea was the ying to Adele’s yang, opting for a very simple black Armani gown with emerald stone statement earrings. She, too, opted for a slick back ‘do.

Giorgio Armani La Croisette Boutique Opening

Giorgio Armani La Croisette Boutique Opening

Giorgio Armani celebrated the opening of its first boutique on La Croisette in Cannes, France yesterday evening, inviting a host of celebs to have a first look.

Lea Seydoux: The French actress, aka mini ScarJo, floored me in this electric-blue strapless Armani gown. It’s not only the colour, which captivates me, but also the silhouette and the elegant draped detail from the waist. So far she has been flawless throughout this festival. I can’t wait to see what she wears for this evening’s premiere.

Stacy Keibler: The actress is yet to attend a red carpet premiere event; however, her style has been impeccable whilst taking in the events surrounding the festival. She floored me in this tri-colour gown, which she styled with simple jewels, a bouffant ponytail and a punchy pink lip colour. Granted I have been harsh on her in the past, but she’s really coming into her own now she’s finally out of his shadow.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: The model was elegance personified, wearing an Armani blush sheer halter top with loose-fit black pants. Like Stacy, she used a striking lip colour to embolden her look.
