Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos for Miu Miu Resort 2014

The co-stars of ‘Blue Is The Warmest Colour’, which won the Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or, Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos, clearly have such great chemistry (as we witnessed during Cannes Film Festival) that I’m not surprised that Miu Miu has snapped up the pair for their Resort 2014 ad campaign.

While this is a first campaign for 19-year-old newcomer Adèle, Léa has starred in campaigns for Prada (Candy and Resort 2012), Levi and Rag & Bone.

Against a soft-pink background Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin capture their candid chemistry as they are casually reclined across each other on the floor wearing Miu Miu garb that is striking in colour, rich in embellishment and emboldened with prints.

This is a very successful campaign as I am buying everything they are selling, especially the accessories – metaphorically speaking.

Who Wore Valentino Better…Lea Seydoux or Charlotte Ronson?

Who Wore Valentino Better Lea Seydoux or Charlotte Ronson

For the Cannes Film Festival photocall of ‘Grand Central’, Lea Seydoux wore a beautiful Valentino Fall 2013 long-sleeved white dress featuring blue-and-silver contrasting beaded embroidery styled with silver Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals.

Last month Charlotte Ronson wore the same dress while attending the 11th Brazil Foundation NYC Gala.

Sadly, the orange lip and black pumps didn’t work for me. I much prefer Lea’s complementary styling, chic bob and flawless makeup, so she wins for me.

Front Row @ Mulberry Spring 2014

Front Row @ Mulberry Spring 2014

Mulberry-clad, front-row mavens all gathered on Sunday to see the label’s Spring 2014 collection at Claridges Hotel during London Fashion Week in England.

Alexa Chung: The DJ donned a conservative Mulberry dropped-waist, white button-down dress, accessorized with a black sweater of her shoulders, along with ‘Lizzie’ black wedges and an olive ‘Alexa’ bag, all from the Spring 2014 collection.

Brit Marling: A sporty-chic Brit posed in a black biker jacket, dotty blouse and the ‘Lizzie’ pencil skirt, matched with the same ‘Lizzie’ black shoes worn by Alexa, which all hailed from Spring 2014. The polished white ‘Suffolk’ handbag, also from Spring 2014, as well as long blonde waves, finished the look with an air of sophistication.

Lea Seydoux: The French actress was also decked in the Spring 2014 collection, with her black ‘Betsey’ coat, the ‘School’ ballet-pink printed shirt and ‘Lizzie’ ballet-pink skirt, paired with pumps and the oversized ‘Clemmie’ clutch in a matching blush-nude shade. Nearly nude makeup and a simple centre-parted bob completed the look.

Adele Exarchopoulos In Isabel Marant & Lea Seydoux In Prada – ‘Blue Is The Warmest Colour’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

Adele Exarchopoulos In Isabel Marant & Lea Seydoux In Prada - 'Blue Is The Warmest Colour' Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

Adele Exarchopoulos and Lea Seydoux were reunited on the red carpet at the Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto, Canada where they attended the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of ‘Blue Is The Warmest Colour’.

Adele Exarchopoulos: The actress, who seems to be a bit of a wild child at heart, wore an elegant Isabel Marant Resort 2014 black lace long-sleeved gown with simple black pointy pumps, adding a dark-rouge lip colour. The elegance of the dress is let down by the styling unfortunately.

Lea Seydoux: Working a more polished look, Lea’s Prada black chantilly-lace dress with delicate embellishment was styled with pewter Jimmy Choo ‘Lace’ sandals, with pops of red via her lips and nails. Her retro side-swept do is very much the cherry on top of this beautiful look.

Lea Seydoux In Louis Vuitton – ‘Grand Central’ Paris Premiere

Lea Seydoux In Louis Vuitton - 'Grand Central' Paris Premiere

Lea Seydoux attended the Paris premiere of ‘Grand Central’ held at the Étoile Lilas in France yesterday evening.

As we know, the French opt for a more semi-casual look when attending premieres in their home town, so this Louis Vuitton Resort 2014 look comes as no surprise.

The French beauty adhered to the informal dress code wearing a navy-and-white-striped long-sleeved LV dress under a striped shorter-sleeved LV coat with frayed edges.

The pops of red via her clutch, lust-worthy sandals, manicure and lips elevates the look without overdressing it.

Who Wore Dolce & Gabbana Better…Lea Seydoux, Julia Restoin Roitfeld or Sienna Miller?

Who Wore Dolce & Gabbana Better Lea Seydoux, Julia Restoin Roitfeld or Sienna Miller

Dolce & Gabbana’s floral-print dresses are always a favourite among celebrities, but this particular baby-doll sundress infused with a summer-fruits print and subtle sequin detailing has been donned by three lovely ladies this summer.

Lea Seydoux gave this frock and the Christian Louboutin ‘Lagoula’ sandals their red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival photocall for her movie ‘La Vie D’Adele’.

Dolce devotee Julia Restoin Roitfeld kept the summery vibe of her dress going with a white Dolce bag and light-green wedges.

Finally, Sienna Miller attended the BMW i3 Global Reveal event, styling her frock with Charlotte Olympia ‘Sugar High’ sandals, opulent earrings and a watermelon lip colour.

This is one of the hardest WWIB posts I have ever done. Each lady wore it – and, most importantly, styled it – well.

I wanted to give this to Julia for considering the colour palette of her dress when selecting her accessories, but in the end I gave this win to Lea. Mostly because her styling was the most simple and effortless, allowing the dress to be the focus.

You can buy their Dolce & Gabbana baby-doll dress from Barneys.
