Kristen Bell In Julien Macdonald – 2018 MTV Movie And TV Awards

Mandy Moore wasn’t the only one doing something new at the 2018 MTV Movie And TV Awards on Saturday (June 16) in Santa Monica, California, Kristen Bell was too.

Julien Macdonald is a designer loved by the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Alessandra Ambrosio – ladies who aren’t afraid to show a bit of skin – so this was a surprising choice for Kristen.

Unfortunately, she didn’t sell this knitted dress to me and I didn’t find this it particularly flattering on her either.

She can do so much better.

Kristen Bell In Emilia Wickstead – Nickelodeon’s 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards

Kristen Bell was also at the Nickelodeon 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (March 24) in Inglewood, California.

You may not have not initially pegged the sophisticatedly reserved pieces of London designer Emilia Wickstead—sometimes donned by the Duchess of Cambridge—to land at Nickelodeon.

But, I found these Pre-Fall 2018 separates to be such a delight on Kristen, as they introduced a smart, vintage-inspired flair that was conservative yet cheeky at the same time.

Choosing the shorter red skirt was the right decision to sass up the look, with Jimmy Choo heels, Faris jewels, and perhaps my favourite element—the Meli Melo ‘Let’s Go Get Lost’ box handbag—to accessorise.

Kristen Bell In Paper London – ‘Pandas’ LA Premiere

Kristen Bell attended the documentary premiere of ‘Pandas’ on Saturday (March 17) in Los Angeles, California, which she narrates.

I’m sure her decision to go for this black and white Paper London dress isn’t lost on you, but the homage to the cuddly bears didn’t end there, as even her eyeliner was also black and white.

I like how the white pumps brings a lightness and balance to the structured silhouette. Black would’ve been too heavy and weight down the look.

Even if you don’t like this outfit, I’m sure you’ll appreciate that this was a fun celebration of Pandas who are beloved around the world, plus it provided a refreshing change from the standard LBD.

Get The Look: Kristen Bell’s SAG Awards Plum-Toned Smokey Beauty

Chosen as the inaugural host for 2018 SAG Awards, Kristen Bell was certainly the belle of this ball at this year’s awards ceremony.

While the bubbly actress chose a stunning pink J.Mendel gown for the red carpet, she sporting a trio of beautifully designed black dresses throughout the ceremony. To complement her collection of ensembles during the evening, Celebrity Makeup Artist Simone Almekias-Siegl created a beauty look that was bold and injected a bit of elegant color throughout.

In discussion with both Nicole Chavez (fashion stylist) and Jenny Cho (hairstylist), Simone chose a look that harmonized with Kristen’s full look. Focusing on skincare, a personal passion for Simone, she created a flawless and ultra-moisturized foundation before creating her plum-toned beauty look. Using Neutrogena’s versatile collection, here’s how she achieved this look:

SKIN: Prepping skin was crucial for this look. Starting with cleansing the skin with Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, Simone followed with an intensely hydrating and skin smoothing Neutrogena HydroBoost HydroGel Face Sheet Mask. A favorite for her, Simone details the many benefits of this mask. “It plumps the skin and smoothens out fine lines under your eyes,” says Simone. To further moisturize both the skin and under eye area which also acted as a primer, Simone massaged Neutrogena Hydro Water Gel and Eye Cream into Kristen’s skin.

FACE: For a flawless and breathable base, Simone blended Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint (Foundation) in Buff onto the skin. For brightness under the eyes, she followed by applying Neutrogena Hydro Boost Concealer Stick in Light. To make Kristen’s cheeks pop, she softly buffed Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends in Sunkissed on the cheeks.

EYES: To create that seductive and elegant plum smoky eye look, Simone used a blend of both Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow with Primer in Cool Plum mixed with Cocoa Mauve. For a final eye-framing finish, Simone coated Kristen’s lashes with a few layers of Neutrogena Hydro Boost Mascara in Black/Brown for lasting volume and definition.

LIPS: Prior to color, Simone primed Kristen’s lips with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Lip Treatment for a nourishing base. She followed up with Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment in True Nude for a delicate nude color.

Kristen Bell In J. Mendel – 2018 SAG Awards

I was awaiting a bright rush of colour on the 2018 SAG Awards red carpet, so I was rejoicing at the sight of Kristen Bell on Sunday (January 21) in LA.

She ensured her first red-carpet of the New Year was a colourful one in this floral-embroidered, fuchsia number from the J. Mendel Resort 2018 collection.

The dropped-waist silhouette is what took the gown in a fresh direction from traditional ball-gown proportions.

I love the inherent girlish femininity of the look, imbued with plenty of elegance by way of her careful styling. Lorraine Schwartz jewels referenced the dress’s vivid pink hue and a glossy box clutch topped it off.
