Kylie Minogue would’ve been the stand out guest, arriving wearing a hot pink strapless Dolce & Gabbana ruched cocktail dress, with an embellished belt, and gold heels.

Love the colour, and the confident sassy strut.

Eva Herzigova wore black sheer and lace cocktail Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 dress with ruffled straps, and a sheer front panel.  The straps have been replace by the runway sleeves, but this modification makes the dress even more sexier.

Eva completes the look with black peep-toes, which are trimmed with lace.

Of all the looks Peaches Geldof has sported at Cannes, I love this one.  It much more her style, than those gowns she has been wearing.

This silver ruched Dolce & Gabbana cocktail dress, is very much like Kylie’s dress, but with square paillette detailed pom pom sleeves.

It must have been a busy night, because the hair, earrings and make-up all remain the same, from her previous events. Lucky girl.

I believe this is the image they should put in a dictionary, to describe ‘death warmed up’.

Pixie Geldof’s being pale is not the issue, its that heavy make-up which is so garish.

I do like her navy and white anchor print plunging halter D&G Spring 2009 gown, just not on her, but I’m glad she opted out of the pleated gold lamé fan pieces.

If you hate this look, it could’ve been worst, because she was spotted at Dolce & Gabbana’s store in London trying on a animal print gown.

Olivia Palermo decided to ignore the unwritten rule of courtesy, by wearing a light blue off-the-shoulder dress, not designed by her hosts.

Looking through the Dolce & Gabbana collection, I struggled to find a piece that I could’ve pictured her wearing, so I guess she made the right choice.

It’s a very pretty dress, and I adore the colour, which she accessorizes with silver jewels.

Of course she is wearing her favourite YSL tribute sandals. I guess she only packed one pair of heels for this trip.

Kerry Washington wore a Dolce & Gabbana silver cocktail dress with exaggerated off the shoulder sleeves.

Again, this is not a favourite Kerry Washington look for me.

Dita Von Teese sticks to her trademark polished style, with a black sequin Dolce & Gabbana dress, with exaggerated sleeves.

Her elbow-length lace gloves adding an extra touch of glamour, whilst her make-up was flawless, and her necklace was striking.

Claudia Schiffer wore a black strapless Dolce & Gabbana gown, with a black clutch, black peep-toes, and a single gold bracelet.

I know Carine Roitfeld is a style maven to many of you, so all I will say about this look is, we all have our bad days.

“The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” Premiere

Lily Cole looked like a fairytale princess in her pale blue Chanel Fall 2007 Couture gown.

As soon as I saw Lily, I immediately thought of Amy Adams’ character Giselle in the Disney movie Enchanted, as Lily has that same beautiful innocence.

Spanish Model and TV host Mar Saura, causes a stir by striking a sexy pose wearing a Nina Ricci Spring 2009 halter dress, with a rise and fall hem, showing off her long legs, and Jimmy Choo Pixie sandals.

Model Noemie Lenoir could wear a black sack and still shine, but instead opted for an Armani Privé Spring 2009 strapless gown, with an embroidered bell-shaped skirt, and a sequin bodice.

Credit were credit is due, Peaches Geldof is trying, but even in this electric blue strapless Roberto Cavalli gown, I’m still not particularly convinced she has turned over a new leaf.

“The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” Photocall

Lily opted for a low key look for the photocall wearing a pale pink top, with Stella McCartney ankle zip jeans, and a pair of quite hideous pink and orange heels.

“Face” Premiere

Zhang Ziyi looked utterly divine in her pink floral Girogio Armani Spring 2009 strapless gown, with a twisted bodice.

The dress should have been the main focus, especially as her hair was pulled back, and her make-up was subtle, but I find myself instantly drawn to her necklace.

What a magnificent piece it is, and I’m usually put off by a large statement pieces, grabbing away the attention from the gown.

As much as I love Kerry Washington, I don’t love her Monique Lhuillier gown, despite how elegant she looks.

I think it’s the lace one-sleeved top half which is putting me off.

When I saw her I really wanted to find something nice to say, but all I could think was, I like her Roger Vivier black satin clutch.

Michelle Yeoh was the picture of elegance wearing a black shimmering Roberto Cavalli gown, with an exquisite silver necklace.

“Map of the Sounds of Tokyo” Premiere

This is something we don’t see very often from Rinko Kikuchi. A soft and sweet look. Usually she’s wearing something cutting edge, couture, or well structured, so this white ethereal vintage Sophia Kokosalaki gown, is a nice refreshing change.

Actress Elodie Bouchez wore a strapless Balmain Spring 2009 LBD, with a studded belt, and Jimmy Choo Seattle sandals.

Elodie’s look has less sparkle, in comparison to the runway version because she opted for the black belt, which I actually prefer.

“Map of the Sounds of Tokyo” Premiere

This more like the Rinko Kikuchi we know, wearing a piece that has a lot of personality.

Her dress included a peplum on the waist, and gold detailing throughout.

Last year, many of you accused Kerry Washington of always playing it safe.

She didn’t play it safe at the Met Gala, and I wouldn’t call this Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 ensemble safe either, so it looks like she has finally shrugged off the ’safe’ label, wouldn’t you agree?

Her look consisted of a futuristic silver metallic bustier, with a pale pink tulip skirt, plus gold platform heels with a velvet ankle tie, and a silver embroidered clutch.

I love that she is taking risks, without over-doing it, and without looking ridiculous.

Rihanna wore the raspberry runway skirt to the DKMS Gala.

Michelle Yeoh hosted this event wearing a Caribbean blue, Roberto Cavalli cowl neck dress, with a shutter pleated detail on the front.

This is a sophisticated evening dress, but Michelle makes it work for her daytime event.

Mary Louise Parker wore the gown version of this dress, to the Emmy’s last year.

Claudia Schiffer opted for a silk nude coloured dress, with kimono-style sleeves, which gave her a warm glow.

Her look was completed with beige accessories.

Kerry Washington opted for a black and white look for her red carpet appearance for the Washington premiere of Poliwood this weekend.

Poliwood is a documentary that gives the viewer access to the influence Hollywood has over today’s political process, showing the thin line between politician and actor, news and entertainment, policy and tabloid.

Kerry wore a Narciso Rodriguez Graffiti-print silk dress, with a black leather jacket, a Brian Atwood white leather clutch, and black peep-toes.

The dress has a chic cut, and the leather jacket makes her look slightly edgy, but those bangs are too long.

This sophisticated dress is available to purchase from Net-A-Porter’s US site for $2,100.

This is how you make a Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 dress work.

Kerry Washington only slightly modified the dress from the runway, but it still keeps it edge, it’s still sexy and sassy. Despite this being a very strong piece, Kerry still shines through. This look doesn’t feel forced.

She was my joint best dressed of the night.

The actress is wearing the same Fall 2009 Louis Vuitton heels as Leighton.

Georgina Chapman, looking this gorgeous is just too easy for you.

The Marchesa designer is wearing one of my favourite pieces from the her Fall 2009 collection.

This scarlet duchess satin embroidered dress with a bow detail was the jewel in the crown of her collection, and just made Best Dressed for me 3 way tie.

What is it about Kate Hudson and gold gowns, that seems to always work so well?

The actress looked speculator wearing a gold sequined embroidered backless keyhole Stella McCartney gown, with a bronze hard box clutch.

Stella herself looked fantastic wearing a self designed black lace embroidered long sleeve plunge-neck jumpsuit, with black satin pumps.

This Gothic-like look is not what I would have expected from Kate Bosworth, and because it’s different I really like it. Bruce Willis seems to like it too.

The actress wore a Stella McCartney black long sleeve lace and silk gown, with marcel waves, and red lips that really pop.

Liv Tyler completed Stella’s Angels, by wearing a navy bead embroidered plunge neck Stella McCartney gown, with navy platform pumps.

The sophisticated elegance she is oozing, is simply breath-taking.

I was excited to see Marisa Tomei, and she didn’t let me down.

The actress continues to make great style choices after awards season, wearing a vintage Adrian ivory crepe gown, with a intricate embroidered detail cascading down the front of the gown.

An ivory clutch, matching heels, and a floral hair accessory complete the look.

No one should be surprised that Renee Zellweger is wearing a strapless Carolina Herrera Fall 2009 gown. Herrera’s muse is nothing but consistent with her look.

What’s surprising is that the gown doesn’t appeared to be modified from the runway, and she’s also sporting a ponytail, which is not exactly clear in this picture.

Kristin Dunst wore something similar to this Chanel Spring 2007 Couture navy gown, to the 2007 Oscars, but she didn’t quite have the poise, and confidence to pull it off, like she did in this gown last night.

The embroidered details are divine.

Claire Danes glows in her stunning two-tone asymmetrical Armani Privé gown.

When Agyness Deyn evokes old Hollywood glamour like this, it’s hard to hate.

Her metallic silver Burberry gown only elongates her already tall frame.

Her white gold and diamond pave Bvlgari necklace compliments her gown perfectly, plus she has a yellow gold tourmaline, emerald and diamond ring.

Rachel Bilson opted for something sexy, young, short and fun, wearing a ruched green Bally by Brian Atwood dress, with Bally python slingbacks.

Lake Bell’s androgynous works for me.

Dude looks like a lady wearing a black tailored suit, whilst carrying a Raven Kauffman Couture clutch.

For half a second, I thought she was Penelope Cruz.

Surprisingly safe for Katy Perry, I would have expect her and not Leighton Meester to be the wildcard for the night.

Her Tommy Hilfiger silk cobalt blue halter gown, is very sexy and elegant on her, and I adore the colour.

The cuff has a Woman Woman feel to it.

Eva Longoria’s black wore an incredibly sexy Diane von Furstenberg dress, with an open back and keyhole front, but the necklace feels a bit heavy.

I was about to say that Dontalla Versace didn’t modify her dress for once, but I notice that her Versace Fall 2009 aqua blue gown, doesn’t have the side split like the runway piece.

Cindy Crawford has not age a day in 20 years.

The Uber model arrived wearing a cobalt blue Versace Fall 2009 gown, with safety pins, and a thigh high split.

All her accessories matched her dress, and so did her smoky make-up.

I wish Allegra Versace had worn something more colourful, but I do like the construction on her Atelier Versace Spring 2009 mini dress.

As Marc Jacobs was the chair of this event, I was interested to see which Marc Jacobs piece Anna Wintour would wear. Instead she opted for a white and black trimmed Chanel Spring 2009 Couture gown.

I’m glad it’s something new, despite it feeling quite familiar.

Ciara wowed in a black and white backless Emilio Pucci gown, with embellished details going down the side.

Ivanka Trump looked like a fairy princess wearing a custom blush tulle Brian Reyes floret gown, with her own Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry, a Judith Leiber clutch, and Christian Louboutin ‘Bow T Dorcet’ heels.

If I was skilled enough in photoshop, I would have etched out Amber Rose’s tattoo, because it ruins everything great about this look.

She didn’t go crazy, as I expected her too. Had she worn something like Leighton, I wouldn’t have been surprised.

The sexy silhouette, and the ravishing red colour, it what made me fall in love with this gown.

I have been going back and forth about Mary-Kate Olsen’s Christian Lacroix Fall 2007 Couture gown since yesterday, which is why I have posted it last.

Is it too costumey? Is she too short to pull it off? Is it too crazy and ott?

And today, I have decided the answer is no to all those questions.

The gown is outstanding, with the metallic lace and silver-embroidered bustier-basque, plus tiered ruffled skirt. I think she pulls it off quite nicely.

Jessica Alba’s orange Lanvin Spring 2009 dress has flowers made out of paillettes applied to the skirt of her dress. This for me is the most interesting part of her look.

Her hairstyle seems to age her, and although I appreciate her not wearing black heels, those purple suede heels don’t work for me.

Kerry Washington opts for a casually chic nude tunic, with a black detailed neckline and black panels.

Simple, yet oh so beautiful.

Jessica Lowndes opted for sultry smoky eyes with her black and ivory flirty dress.

Dania Ramirez’ black ruched dress, is all very Girls of The Playboy Mansion, which she wears with Christian Louboutin Very Galaxy pumps.
