Katy Perry In Zuhair Murad Couture – 2015 Grammy Awards

Katy Perry In Zuhair Murad Couture - 2015 Grammy Awards

Katy Perry sparkled on the red carpet of the 2015 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 8) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Fresh from her Super Bowl performance this time last week, the ‘Dark Horse’ songstress and multiple nominee donned a jewel piece of a look from the Zuhair Murad Spring 2015 Couture collection.

Keeping the belt from the runway, she wore the glitzy, sheer number with silver heels and Sophia Webster statement earrings, which weren’t so much necessary given the embellishment of the dress.

Freshly coloured purple locks were teased into a wavy bob, adding another layer of flash to the high-octane look.

You may recall that this shimmering confection was one that had been selected for Beyonce Knowles on Fashion Critic’s red carpet wish list.

Were you glad to see Katy Perry debut this design, or do you wish Queen Bey had worn it first?

Katy Perry Superbowl 1

Katy Perry performed on stage during the Pepsi Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show held at the University of Phoenix Stadium on Sunday (February 1) in Glendale, Arizona, where she let out a ‘Roar’ and some ‘Fireworks’ with some major assists from Lenny Kravitz and surprise guest Missy Elliott.

As expected, Katy put on a colourful, fun show, performing other hits such as ‘California Girls’ and ‘Teenage Dreams’.

With her four costumes custom made by Jeremy Scott and Moschino, she made an impactful, strong and powerful entrance wearing a flame-emblazoned mini dress with cut-outs and gold leather appliqués.

Katy Perry In RVN – Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show Press Conference

Katy Perry In RVN - Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show Press Conference

Katy Perry attended a press conference to talk about her halftime performance at Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIX on Thursday (January 29).

The singer announced that Lenny Kravitz would be joining her for her set, and that one of her favourite designers, Jeremy Scott, would be creating all of the costumes.

In what’s likely to be a very visual spectacle on Sunday, the singer started the quirks early by wearing a knitted crop top and skirt emblazed with a football motif created by RVN designer Ted Kim.

This may not be to everyone’s liking and the reference might be too literal, but I for one am enjoying this playful moment.

It’s quirky Katy at her best.

Pedro García ‘Aneley’ orange patent-leather pumps, a chunky bedazzled football pendant necklace, matching earrings and a slick ponytail rounded out this look.

The DAILY FRONT ROW ‘Fashion Los Angeles Awards’ Red Carpet Roundup

The DAILY FRONT ROW Fashion Los Angeles Awards

Here is a quick roundup from The DAILY FRONT ROW ‘Fashion Los Angeles Awards’ Show held at Sunset Tower on Thursday (January 22) in West Hollywood, California.

Kerry Washington: The ‘Scandal’ star wore a black, white and grey look that was distinctly lacking in flavour. Let’s pray this lull doesn’t continue much longer as her usual three-pointers are turning into air balls.

Gigi Hadid: Presented with the Model of the Year award, the blonde beauty kept her look simple wearing a watermelon-hued one-shoulder Calvin Klein fitted dress, which hugged in all the right places.

Minka Kelly: The actress, who usually works minimalist looks in simple silhouettes, donned a Herve Leger multicoloured textural flared frock with studded details. Sadly, for me this doesn’t work. It’s not really suited to her style and it’s giving her quarterback shoulders.

Katy Perry In KTZ – 2014 ARIA Awards

Katy Perry In KTZ - 2014 ARIA Awards

Katy Perry was on hand to present the Best Female Artist Award at the 2014 ARIA Awards in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday (November 26), accepting the award for SIA.

Following her red carpet look, the singer changed into a KTZ Spring 2015 black strapless dress with white and gold cameos, styled with a KTZ necklace, cameo cuff and pearl accented peep-toes.

The styling kills this look for me.

She played it pitch perfect on the red carpet, but between the cuff, the shoes and necklace, at least two things needed to go.

I’m leaning towards the cuff for starters.
