amfAR Cinema Against Aids Gala Red Carpet Roundup

amfAR Cinema Against Aids Gala Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of some of the other attendees at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France this evening (May 22).

Toni Garrn: The model wore an icy silk skirt-and-top combo by Italian brand Redemption Choppers. The liquid-silk top is decorated with metallic needles on the side in an attempt to add an edge to the lingerie-inspired look. Toni styled this to perfection.

Karolína Kurková: Not a red carpet event has gone by where I haven’t loved what the model has worn; sadly, that came to a crashing halt today. Such an uninspiring, unflattering Dior look for a gala – or any – event.

Chanel Iman: The model opted for yet another Reem Acra gown, selecting a gold-draped look which she styled with a gold Jimmy Choo clutch.

Chanel & Vanity Fair France Dinner Party

Chanel & Vanity Fair France Dinner Party
With the fashionable force of celebrities in town for the 67th annual Cannes Film Festival in France, no better time for another starry party. Chanel and ‘Vanity Fair’ took the opportunity to fete the occasion on Tuesday (May 20) with a dinner at the beachfront restaurant, Tetou, where a bevy of Chanel-clad beauties were on the scene.

Lily Allen: The British singer-songwriter was dressed in a blue tweed frock with glittery embroidery from the Chanel Spring 2012 Couture collection, which she paired with (not pictured) gunmetal metallic pumps. The classic silhouette received a punchy accent via the embellished cold-shoulder sleeves and patchwork hemline. While her blue pendant earrings may have been unnecessary given the glitz of the dress, the yellow Chanel clutch was definitely a questionable blot on this look.

Jessica Chastain: Whereas Lily went for shine, Jessica kept her look on a more subtle level, donning a Chanel Resort 2014 white tweed dress with pockets. From her flame-red locks to her barely-there makeup and natural nails, this was the embodiment of au naturel styling. We can’t see if her shoes added a spark, but were you bored, or did you appreciate her breezy, effortless beauty?

Best Dressed Of The Week – Blake Lively In Gucci Premiere, Karolina Kurkova In Marchesa, Benedict Cumberbatch In Ralph Lauren & Douglas Booth In Burberry

BD1 12 May

There was just no separating Blake Lively and Karolina Kurkova this week.

Both taking 34% of your votes, they were neck and neck all weekend.

Blake swept you off your feet with her dazzling return to the red carpet in Gucci Premiere, while Karolina’s Marchesa sculpted strapless satin-organza gown was not only a thing of beauty but was also one of the very few looks which lived up to the theme. This was my favourite too.

Karolina Kurkova and Lily Aldridge In Salvatore Ferragamo – Salvatore Ferragamo ‘Fiamma’ Bag Launch Dinner Party

Karolina Kurkova and Lily Aldridge In Salvatore Ferragamo - Salvatore Ferragamo 'Fiamma' Bag Launch Dinner Party

Karolina Kurkova and Lily Aldridge attended the Salvatore Ferragamo ‘Fiamma’ bag launch dinner party held at Casa Lever in New York City on Tuesday (May 6), which saw both ladies wearing looks from the brand’s Spring 2014 collection.

Karolina Kurkova: Pinstripes have never looked so sexy. The model worked a look featuring a cropped double-breasted jacket and a unique pair of cropped trousers featuring a skirt, or peplum detail. Few could pull this off; thankfully, Karolina is part of that few.

Lily Aldridge: Also working a belly-baring look, the model wore a navy wool trouser look with a sexy snakeskin bandeau styled with matching wedges and a dark-green ‘Fiamma’ bag with a pink locket. I love the cool, effortless vibe of this look. At times the exposed middle feels overplayed, but I love everything about this look.

Karolina Kurkova In Marchesa – 2014 Met Gala

Karolina Kurkova In Marchesa - 2014 Met Gala

Karolina Kurkova is something out of a dream on the red carpet of the 2014 Met Gala in New York City on Monday (May 5).

The supermodel wore a Marchesa Spring 2011 gown in a deep teal hue with a painterly floral print. The dramatic shape and cut of the dress are a work of art and is perfectly accented with incredible Harry Winston diamonds.

The gorgeous Karolina kept her hair and makeup very simple to let her stunning ensemble do the talking.

This is just the kind of unique yet glamorous look that an event like this calls for. I think she looks simply breathtaking, do you?

Karolina Kurkova In Roksanda Ilincic – ‘For The Love of Cinema’ Dinner Party

Karolina Kurkova In Roksanda Ilincic - ‘For The Love of Cinema’ Dinner Party

Karolina Kurkova attended the ‘For the Love of Cinema’ dinner hosted by IWC Schaffhausen and Tribeca Film Festival at Urban Zen on Thursday (April 17) in New York City.

With her hair and makeup looking considerably better compared to her previous night out, the model wore a beautiful dress by the queen of colour-blocking, Roksanda Ilincic.

Aside from the contrast panelling this Spring 2014 contemporary piece offers draped detailing and a contrast waistband, which she selected in black over the green we saw on the runway.

This makes more sense for Karolina’s look, considering her Sophia Webster sandals and timepiece, provided by the host IWC Schaffhausen, were also in black.

Karolina Kurkova In Tamara Mellon – The Hollywood Reporter’s 35 Most Powerful People In Media Celebration

Karolina Kurkova In Tamara Mellon - The Hollywood Reporter's 35 Most Powerful People In Media Celebration

Karolina Kurkova attended The Hollywood Reporter’s 35 Most Powerful People In Media celebration held at The Four Seasons Restaurant on Wednesday (April 16) in New York City.

The model wore a look from shoe maven come ready-to-wear designer, Tamara Mellon.

Needless to say, I am drooling over this black mock-collar jumpsuit (which looks like a dress) with its elegant sleek design which has been tailored with free-flowing wide-leg trousers revealing a white panel.

The hair is looking a bit thirsty, but the rest of the styling – especially the champagne-coloured Gianvito Rossi sandals and clutch – works perfectly with this stylish look.
