Allison Williams In L’Wren Scott – Great American Songbook Event Honoring Bryan Lourd

Allison Williams In L'Wren Scott - Great American Songbook Event Honoring Bryan Lourd

Allison Williams joined Sarah Jessica Parker and Anne Hathaway for ‘The Great American Songbook’ event honouring Bryan Lourd at Alice Tully Hall on Monday (February 10) in New York City.

The ‘Girls’ actress wore a L’Wren Scott Spring 2014 ‘Tagasode’ red-and-black, wool-and-silk smoking satin tuxedo dress which shapes and contours her body perfectly.

This statement option needed little by way of accessories, however, Allison did add a black clutch and black Casadei pumps which couldn’t be a more perfect way to round out this sexy chic look.

Allison Williams In John Galliano – Meet The Actors

Allison Williams In John Galliano - Meet The Actors

Allison Williams attended the ‘Meet the Actor’ session held at the Apple Store Soho in New York City on Thursday (January 23).

The ‘Girls’ actress wore a John Galliano Spring 2014 printed sweater top and flared skirt with black trims.

While I am the first to say that I wish to see Allison give us something other than the uptown/Oscar de la Renta girl, I’m not too sure this sporty look really suits her (yes, I have totally contradicted myself).

Maybe I would’ve preferred her look in the lavender hue we saw on the runway.

Thick black tights, black Christian Louboutin booties, Jennifer Fisher jewels, a simple bun and fresh-faced makeup completed her look.

Love or loathe?

Christian Dior Spring 2014 Couture Front Row

Christian Dior Spring 2014 Couture Front Row 2

Spring 2014 Couture Fashion Week continued today with a host of lovely ladies taking to the front row for Christian Dior’s show.

Kate Bosworth: The actress, who arrived with her husband Michael Polish, wore a Dior navy-blue-and-silver metallic embroidered top and skirt, which she styled with bi-colour Dior shoes. The look is very simple, letting the pieces speak for themselves without over-accessorizing, but a part of me feels like this look would be better suited to Chloe Grace Moretz.

Allison Williams: While her look sported many of the emblems we saw on the Christian Dior Spring 2014 runway, there was nothing back-to-school about her super-chic look. Following Diane Kruger’s trendy camel-coat-wearing lead, the actress also slung her Dior wool coat over her shoulder while wearing a burgundy knit top with burgundy leather pants. Opting for barely any makeup, she styled her look with an emblem-emblazoned ‘Lady Dior’ bag and bi-colour Dior shoes.

Olga Kurylenko: The Ukraine-born actress gave us the bombshell moment, looking super sexy wearing a Dior embroidered-and-printed pastel-metallic guipure top with a high-waist navy wool skirt. While I would lose the ivory-and-black Dior clutch, I would kill for those Dior multi-coloured pumps.

Allison Williams In Alexander McQueen – ‘Girls’ Season 3 London Premiere

Allison Williams In Alexander McQueen - 'Girls' Season 3 London Premiere

Allison Williams joined Lena Dunham and Zosia Mamet for the UK premiere of ‘Girls’ Season 3 held at Cineworld Haymarket on Wednesday (January 15) in London.

With her co-stars opting for a cocktail dress and jumpsuit respectively, it’s fair to say that Allison is totally overdressed for the occasion.

Had the premiere been in Leicester Square for a movie this would’ve been perfect, but I feel that this Alexander McQueen Spring 2014 halter gown with a colourful embroidered neckline deserved a far grander occasion.

I will do a slight U-turn and say that Allison does look amazing in this gown.

That red lip was a perfect way to further enliven the embroidery on her frock, her body looks outstanding and I much prefer this look over the McQueen gown she wore to the Globes on Sunday, but I still feel like this was a terrible waste – especially when Alexander McQueen gowns are so few and far between on the red carpet.

Get The Look: Allison Williams’ 2014 Golden Globes Makeup Look

71st Annual Golden Globe Awards - ArrivalsAt the Golden Globes, ‘Girls’ star Allison Williams cemented herself as a red carpet favorite. Her unique black-and-white Alexander McQueen gown was flattering and unique, and her makeup was stunning.

Avon’s Global Celebrity Makeup Artist Lauren Anderson created the glam look, and here’s how you can recreate it at home.

On Allison’s face, Lauren applied YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation, and then dusted on Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Radiant Light. She defined her brows with Votre Vu Arch de Triumphe Brow Definer.

For the eyes, Lauren tightlined the upper and lower lids with Avon Glimmersticks Eye Liner in Blackest Black, and then she played up Allison’s blue eyes by creating a smokey eye with Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Urban Skyline, focusing the white shade (number 1) in the inner corners and the light gray (number 2) on the outer corners.

To finish the dramatic eyes, Lauren coated the lashes with Avon Mega Effects Mascara.

On the apples of Allison’s cheeks, Lauren swiped Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour in Rose Petal, and to complete the look, she used Avon Ultra Color Absolute Lipstick in Ripe Rose (this colour will be available for purchase soon).
