Allison Williams In Carolina Herrera – 2018 AFI Awards

Going back to her brunette roots, Allison Williams stepped out at the 2018 AFI Awards on Friday (January 5) in LA.

Like Gal Gadot, the actress has left the winter doldrums behind in this feisty Carolina Herrera highlighter-yellow frock that is still bursting with classic femininity in its ladylike silhouette and delicate flutter of all-over embroidery.

At first, I questioned the Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle Follies’ pumps, as I thought they were black from afar. But, when I saw they were in a dark-violet shade, they quickly won me over.

I loved her bright exhibition of hue here, and it was such a striking statement when paired back to her rich shade of chocolate-brown hair in a fresh, wavy chop.

Allison Williams In The Row – British Independent Film Awards 2017

Allison Williams also joined the list at the British Independent Film Awards 2017 on Sunday (December 10) on Old Billingsgate in London.

While some may be left uninspired by her minimalist statement from Spring 2018 collection of The Row, there was something striking in its languid, slip-dress allure that made no apologies for its extreme simplicity.

I like how her blonde waves echoed the effortless nonchalance of the look.

Did you like the pared-back nature of her styling, or were you left wishing for something more?

London Evening Standard Theatre Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Many more stars were in attendance at the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards were held on Sunday (December 3) in London, England, where all modes of elegance reigned supreme.

Annabelle Wallis: She was the very picture of modern glamour in this Stella McCartney black lace gown. I love how the perfect plunge neckline and semi-sheer, layered effect gave this dress a sultry yet sophisticated finish—juxtaposed with the classic elegance of old-Hollywood waves and a red lip.

Ophelia Lovibond: Not content to let her look go fully the way of monochromatic minimalism, Olivia enlivened this Emporio Armani Fall 2017 halter dress with a bright-pink clutch. It was unexpected, but gave the look its own unique flair.

Allison Williams In Giambattista Valli Couture – 2017 Gotham Independent Film Awards

Allison Willams was one of my favourites at the 2017 Gotham Independent Film Awards on Monday (November 27).

In ethereal white with a romantic green floral embroidery, this floor-sweeping gown from Giambattista Valli’s Fall 2017 Couture collection, is a stunning vision to behold.

The layered skirt and tie accent lends boho-chic charm that anchors the indulgent composition and dramatic length.

Allison Williams In Emanuel Ungaro – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Allison Williams was also on the late night circuit, paying a visit to ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ to promote, ‘Get Out’.

The actress wore an Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2018 grey dress which exemplifies the brands distinctive contemporary aesthetic.

I personally love the blouson-inspired silhouette, characterised by puffed proportions, but many of you didn’t like this on Elizabeth Banks’ recent outing.

While I love the studded belt on the runway, I know this isn’t really Allison’s style, so I’ll happily accept the coral pumps instead.

Allison Williams In Schiaparelli Couture – ‘Get Out’ LA Screening

Allison Williams was at the SAG-AFTRA Foundations conversations and LA screening for her latest film, ‘Get Out’, on Friday (November 17) in West Hollywood, California.

I was immediately drawn to her Schiaparelli Couture strapless pleated dress for the artsy, multi-coloured patterns of its silk crêpe. This could have been the canvas of a painting in a museum’s modern collection.

Even more whimsical was the eye embroidery, which was a nod to the label’s surrealistic motifs.

Could she have had more fun in the footwear department with a brighter sandal? Sure. But, instead, she kept the focus straight-away on the dress itself.
