Gigi Hadid In Paco Rabanne – Aperture Gala ‘Elements of Style’

Gigi Hadid was spotted leaving her apartment in New York City en route to the Aperture Gala ‘Elements of Style’ on Monday (October 30).

The model wore a Paco Rabanne Spring 2018 dress which has an air of deconstructed cool; making a modern statement with its fluid fit and slit to the thigh.

I love how the embellishments keeps the look decadent and dramatic which is amped up further with ankle boots and duster coat.

Rita Ora In Tory Burch – BBC Studios

Before the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, Rita Ora was at the BBC Studios in London the day before on Saturday (October 21).

Celebrating the glories of the season, she cut a sophisticated profile in her Tory Burch Fall 2017 ensemble that had not even the hint of any rebellious style attitude.

I love how the dancer-printed blouse brought an element of feminine whimsy to the corduroy trousers.

It was her monogrammed, winter-white trench coat that really wrapped up the look in classic form, though.

Rita Ora In Marni – BBC Radio 1

Rita Ora made quite a colourful statement when making her way to the BBC Radio 1 studios in London today (October 20), to promote her new single ‘Anywhere’, which she shot in New York two weeks ago.

Looking like she just stepped off the set from ‘That 70s Show’, the singer turned heads wearing a Marni Fall 2017 nylon knit top, checked trousers, alpaca coat and calf leather sandals.

There is a lot of colours, patterns and textures to contend with here, but I feel like this pulls this off with great aplomb; after all this isn’t her first flirtation with 70s style.

Hit or miss?

Rihanna In Luar – Out In New York City

Rihanna continued her love affair with volume while out in New York City on Thursday (October 19).

The singer was clad in a Luar Spring 2018 trapeze dress which combined elements of a menswear pinstripe jacket. Some will obviously be distracted by the comical sleeve protruding from her back, but I was drawn to her accessorising.

Ri Ri wore Off-White c/o Jimmy Choo ‘Claire’ shoes with black straps and Perspex details. Her bag echoed the fabric mix while a white baseball cap and round sunglasses added a sporty vibe.

This is an ensemble that only someone like Rihanna could dream up and pull off with such panache. Do you agree?

Gabrielle Union Promotes ‘We’re Gonna Need More Wine’

Gabrielle Union has been promoting her new memoir, ‘We’re Gonna Need More Wine’, in New York City over the past two days, leaving us spoiled for choice with her six different statement-making looks.

Mixing bold patterns is not for the faint of fashion heart, but here Gabrielle shows us precisely how it’s done in a checkered Hugo Boss outfit paired with a Stella Jean coat. Despite the wide-leg trousers and sweepingly long coat, the proportions all played together so well. A Michael Kors Collection bag provided a sophisticated finish.

For her second ensemble, in which she was seen outside the ‘Good Morning America’ studios, she made me look at chambray in a whole new sexy light with this Gabriela Hearst Spring 2018 dress. The patchwork effect of the Gabriela Hearst Fall 2017 trench coat brought extra attitude to the look, which was imbued with an urban-western sense of glamour. Gabriela Hearst ‘Peter’ shoes and the Gabriela Hearst ‘Nina’ bag completed the effect.
