All eyes were on Audrey Tautou at the Paris premiere for Coco Avant Chanel, which took place last night.

Audrey stars as Gabrielle Chanel, known as Coco, before she became famous. The film, of course, features dresses from the Chanel collection. Karl Lagerfeld, Creative Director of the House of Chanel, supervised the re-creation of costumes and accessories, so we will have a magically journey through the archives.

At the premiere Audrey was, as you would expect, dressed in Chanel. Her strapless black and white floral print dress was from the Spring 2009 Couture collection.

The wonderfully chic actress wore her dress with a leather jacket, and Sergio Rossi back zip gladiator sandals. It’s hard to tell with her jacket, but her dress seems less voluminous in the hip area, than it appeared on the runway. Nevertheless, Audrey looks outstanding.

Coco Avant Chanel premieres in France on April 22, the rest of the world is yet to be announced.

Normally there is always something I dislike about what Miley Cyrus wears, but on this occasion I can’t hate. I think it’s the right mix of her being stylish, young and fun. Something I don’t think I’ve ever said about her look before.

I’ll let you decided on the age appropriateness of this look, but for me it’s not too cheesy, she’s not 16 going on 30, and the leather jacket adds a bit of youth to her fringed teal Alberta Ferretti Spring 2009 dress, with a fringed rope belt.

Oh Taylor, please rub off some of that tremendous style and grace you possess, to your BFF.

Taylor Swift stamps her claim for a a spot on the Best Dressed list, by arriving at the premiere looking outstanding in a black beaded strapless Naeem Khan Fall 2009 dress.

She completed her stunning look with Christian Louboutin Bow T Dorcet heels, and a black Mary Norton clutch.

It was Miley’s night, but Taylor stole her crown.

Emily Osment’s Faviana black one shoulder dress, has a floral embellishment which cascades down the front of her dress and across the bodice.

I do like the dress, as I’m impressed she carried off all that detail, but I really don’t think the shoes are a good fit.

Demi Lovato gets the prize for being the worst dressed at this event. The skirt of that dress looks like ringlets.

How very bizarre. Plus the make-up is not working for me either.

Vanessa Williams never lets me down. She wears another burst of colour on the red carpet with this sunshine yellow ribbed sheath dress.

Her turquoise necklace, nude heels and multi-coloured Carlos Falchi clutch complete the look.

Melora Hardin wore a spring chic Rafael Cennamo white v-front dress. The dress, which she wore with purple peep-toes, was embellished with a light blue floral belt.

She completed her look with an ostrich feathered Mary Norton bag with gold chain strap.

Teri Hatcher goes casual wearing a gorgeous pearl embellished tank with dark wash jeans.

Anne Hathaway looked undeniably gorgeous, as she sparkled in her sequin-covered Valentino pencil dress, with velvet ribbon detailing.

She punched up her look with bright red platform heels, and her megawatt smile.

Gwyneth Paltrow opted for a simple, yet edgy look.

Her grey puff shoulder v-neck Valentino dress, were paired with bandage Christian Louboutin heels, and barely-there make-up.

Gwyneth and Anne must have liked this movie a lot, because they both also attended the New York premiere.

Rachel Zoe wore a strapless asymmetrical dress, with black satin Casadei pumps.

Rose McGowan wore a cute black mini puffball dress, with a silver clutch which complimented the diamante’s on her dress.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, tights ruin everything on the red carpet.

Tracee Ellis Ross looked supremely elegant in her vintage sleeveless top, with Maison Martin Margiela tuxedo pants, and Christian Louboutin heels.

Love those Valentino earrings.

Shenae Grimes was a surprise attendee, opting for a black embellished Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti tunic dress.

Nicky Hilton appears to have aged quite dramatically as a result of this look.

The Fast & Furious promotional tour is still going strong. This week in Moscow the film had yet another European premiere.

Jordana Brewster was glowing wearing a sparkling Reem Acra Fall 2008 floor-length gown, with a black sash and a side split.

If Jordana is trying to make a statement that she is a hot young stylish actress, then this glittering dress, paired with a leather Jenni Kayne jacket and black Jimmy Choo Corsica strappy sandals is definitely the way to go.

The last time I liked anything Gemma Arterton wore on the red carpet, it was back in November when she arrived at the Quantum of Solace Royal World Premiere wearing a striking purple Balmain dress.

There have been many frock horrors since then, including her Missoni cocktail party dress last week.

The former Bond girl yesterday braved a cold London evening, to finally make an impression on the red carpet.

She wore a turquoise Marchesa Resort 2009 one-shoulder stretch crepe dress, with draped front overlay and a gold embroidered neckline.

I loved her pewter metallic sandals, with a beaded ankle cuff.

Until 3 weeks ago, British actress Talulah Riley was a brunette.

Last night she showed off her blonde ‘do for the first time on the red carpet.

The transformation is outstanding, her face really glows with her new ‘do. She’s gone from slightly Gothic, to a blonde bombshell.

I TOTALLY love the new do, as much as I love her navy blue Jasmine Di Milo asymmetrical dress.

The dress has a banded waist to give her a sexy silhouette, and a cute frilly peplum at the waist.

Talulah’s gold python heels completed this fab look.

Eva Longoria attended the premiere of The Perfect Game during the Guadalajara International Film Festival in Mexico this weekend.

The Desperate Housewives actress looked radiant as ever, wearing a white sweet-heart necklined Badgley Mischka Spring 2009 dress.

I love the shredded skirt, which give the appearance of feather detailing.

The bodice of dress, was modified with jewels and beads, like the black gown which was presented in the Pre-Fall 2009 collection. The two dresses modified together, make a perfect dress for Eva.

I love the tan heels, but I am not so crazy about her hair. Even with hair extensions, it’s clear that Eva’s natural hair is still in the growing out phase.

We shouldn’t be surprised that Eva Longoria is wearing Badgley Mischka, because she stared in their recent 20 year celebration ad campaign with Carrie Underwood, Brooke Shields, Lauren Hutton, and Anjelica Huston.

I almost fell of my chair when I saw pictures of Reese Witherspoon wearing this space-aged Rodarte Fall 2009 silver and green dress, to the Monsters Vs. Aliens LA premiere today.

Reese did wear a modified Rodarte gown to the 2009 Oscars, but I never expected her to wear one of their edgier pieces.

No offense to Reese, but Rodarte is for those with a bit of an edge, like Tilda Swinton, Cate Blanchett and Keira Knightley. But saying that I’m presently surprised with this effort.

I love her Balenciaga heels. The grey peep-toes, with the yellow heels are a nice touch.

The only downside for me is the hair.

The hair and the dress don’t quite work well together. You have a “soccer mom” type hairstyle, with the “Downtown New Yorker” dress.

Her hair pulled back in a tight ponytail, would have sexed up this look, and may have worked better imo.

If she wanted to try something new, she should have gone all the way.
