Daisy Ridley In Paco Rabanne – ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Mexico City Premiere

As Daisy Ridley continues down the promo tour for ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi,’ she made a stop in Mexico City for the premiere and fan event on Monday (November 20).

The actress wears both girly femininity as well as sharper takes on modern sultriness in equally strong form.

And, the latter was no better witnessed than here in this Paco Rabanne Spring 2018 ensemble.

The look was striking in its impeccably fitted simplicity, punctuated by the asymmetrical snaps and unexpected dash of paisley.

Jada Pinkett Smith In Prada – ‘Girls Trip’ Paris Premiere

Jada Pinkett Smith dazzled at the ‘Girls Trip’ premiere on Monday (November 20) in Paris, France.

The actress appears to be in a cheerful mood as she has donned punchy colours at her last few red carpet appearances including sunny yellow and shocking pink.

This time, she opted for saturated mint green Prada which brought a smile to my face.

The slip dress has a retro quality courtesy of the fringing decorating the waist and hem. It was a bold look, but it didn’t overwhelm her petite frame.

Silver metallic sandals accented the embellishment while adding a modernity to the ensemble.

Maika Monroe In Prabal Gurung – ‘The Tribes Of Palos Verdes’ LA Premiere

Maika Monroe joined Jennifer Garner at ‘The Tribes Of Palos Verdes’ LA premiere on Friday (November 17) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress channeled dark romance in a Prabal Gurung Fall 2017 dress that left me enchanted.

Despite the black background, the piece still had an exuberant finish from the blue and turquoise floral pattern.

The ab cut-out and high slit served as counterpoints to the modest top.

I was pleased to see that she left off the tights as the bare legs lent a sultriness to the ensemble.

Jennifer Garner In Johanna Ortiz – ‘The Tribes Of Palos Verdes’ LA Premiere

Jennifer Garner typically favors classic, feminine gowns with a fitted waist and gently flared skirt. Her ensemble at ‘The Tribes Of Palos Verdes’ LA premiere on Friday (November 17) in Los Angeles, California had many of those elements but it still captivated me.

The rich oxblood velvet of her Johanna Ortiz Fall 2017 dress had a sophisticated sensuality. This mood was enhanced by the asymmetrical sweetheart bodice.

The ruffled sleeve on the runway version would have made a romantic statement, but I get why she removed it as she normally favors cleaner silhouettes.

The blue-green sandals played up the sumptuous texture of the dress while adding a retro feel. Although, I must say I would have preferred a shoe without a platform.

Sylvia Hoeks In Saint Laurent – ‘The Shape of Water’ LA Premiere

Sylvia Hoeks joined Octavia Spencer at ‘The Shape of Water’ premiere on Wednesday (November 15) in Los Angeles, California.

She embraced Saint Laurent’s rocker mood in a Fall 2017 ensemble. The embellished shoulder tempered the severity of the long sleeve for a dynamic finish.

I love the edgy vibe of this, but feel let down by the overall effect. The actress’s look lacked the sharpness of the runway version and I’m struggling with the hair and makeup.

I also wish that she styled the dress in her own way rather than mirroring the slouchy boots from the runway. Had she worn fierce, embellished shoes to tie in the shoulder detail, she could have made a stronger impact.

Kristin Scott Thomas In Bottega Veneta – ‘Darkest Hour’ New York Premiere

Kristin Scott Thomas made a return to the red carpet for the ‘Darkest Hour’ New York premiere on Wednesday (November 15).

Elegance is word we always associate when it comes to Kristin’s style and that was most definitely the case with her Bottega Veneta Fall 2017 dress.

Infused with velvet detailing for the most intriguing contrast, this black LBD makes quite a dramatic statement.
