Maya Rudolph In Marc Jacobs – ‘The Emoji Movie’ LA Premiere

‘The Emoji Movie’ premiere took place on Sunday (July 23) in Westwood, California, with Maya Rudolph in attendance.

The actress looked beautiful wearing a Marc Jacobs Resort 2017 butterfly embroidered dress which was bursting with colour and vibrancy which fits her personality.

An orange paillette Jimmy Choo ‘Lockett Minaudiere’ clutch amps up the fun element while Irene Neuwirth earrings and strappy Tamara Mellon ‘Jagger’ sandals adds some modernity.

I love how this look manages to fit the theme of the movie, while still possessing plenty of Maya’s sophisticated red carpet charm.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

The men finished out the week on a strong note with a range of events from San Diego to New York City.

Dave Franco: While at Comic-Con 2017 in San Diego on Thursday (July 20), Dave channeled a darker side of Hawaiian style with the more sinister-inspired, palm print of this shirt from The Kooples. I love his clean styling approach, neatly tucking the shirt into his cropped trousers.

Jack Lowden: Jack put his best business-sleek foot forward at the ‘Dunkirk’ New York City premiere on Tuesday (July 18), donning a Canali suit in suave shades of gray that was polished to perfection.

Harry Styles: There would be no buttoned-up mood for Harry at The Elvis Duran Z100 Morning Show on Wednesday (July 19) in New York City, as he had some flight-of-fancy fun with his custom Stella McCartney silk crepe-de-chine swallow shirt. Skinny denim and toe-cap boots completed the urban-western mood.

Natalie Portman In Christian Dior – ‘Planetarium’ Tokyo Premiere

I don’t know about you, but I have been unimpressed by Natalie Portman’s red carpet style during this trip to Asia.

Following her Dior photocall look, the actress attended the ‘Planetarium’ Tokyo premiere on Thursday (July 20) wearing a simple high neck Dior LBD.

I will never understand why an ambassador for a major fashion brand will display such little interest in fashion.

Simple doesn’t necessarily have to mean boring, but that’s the feeling I have when trying to find a positive from this look.

Not even the Dior ‘J’Adior’ slingbacks could save this look from feeling so underwhelming.

Isabela Moner In Reem Acra – ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Tokyo Premiere

Isabela Moner joined co-star Laura Haddock for the ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ premiere on Thursday (July 20) in Tokyo, Japan.

Unlike Laura, Isabela’s promo tour has been varied. She hasn’t been afraid to take a risk or two, even if they didn’t always pay off.

Closing her tour with a bang, the actress wore a Reem Acra Fall 2017 strapless floral gown, which could’ve come across as stuffy and princessy, but her youthful energy and playful styling – which included Gabriel New York earrings and a Ileana Makri choker – imbued some fun into the look.

Laura Haddock In Marc Jacobs – ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Tokyo Premiere

The ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ epic promo tour came to an end on Thursday (July 20) in Tokyo, Japan.

Laura Haddock served up no surprises opting for yet another gown in a neutral hue for her last hurrah.

In fact, the major surprise is that her gown was created by Marc Jacobs, as the designers red carpet looks tend to be on the short or quirky side.

I love how Laura’s beige lace, silver sequin embroidered gown is imbued with old Hollywood glamour, which is further amped up by her 1920s retro hairstyle.

While there wasn’t much variety in the colour palette of this promo tour, Laura did herself proud as each gown was simply breath-taking.
