Malin Akerman In Sebastian Gunawan Red & Gosia Baczynska – Monte Carlo TV Festival Opening Ceremony & ‘Billions’ Photocal

Malin Akerman attended the Monte Carlo TV Festival Opening Ceremony on Friday (June 16) and the ‘Billions’ Photocall on Saturday (June 17), both in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

Opening Ceremony: While I cannot fault her sleek styling of his Sebastian Gunawan Red lace jumpsuit, I wonder if a darker lining would have elevated the look into a more elegant territory. The lighter, off-white lining, while highlighting the beautiful patterning, can feel a bit dated and forced. An Edie Parker ‘Rebekah’ clutch completed her look.

Photocall: Malin’s second look couldn’t have been more different, as this Gosia Baczynska patterned suit embraced a far more adventurous, fresh approach with strong graphic impact. Some might find the jacket boxy, but I was too taken by the ensemble’s eye-catching appeal. A Jason of Beverly Hills ring and Neil J Rodgers shoes completed the retro-forward look.

Kirsten Dunst In Bottega Veneta – ‘The Beguiled’ LA Photocall

Kirsten Dunst attended the LA photocall for ‘The Beguiled’ on Sunday (June 11).

Finding inspiration in the vintage, ’40s-inspired leanings of the Bottega Veneta Pre-Fall 2017 collection, she wore a sweetly elegant dress with nail-head studded embellishment across the neckline.

I love the prim charm of this frock on Kirsten. And while the black sandals wouldn’t have been my first choice, she redeemed the styling with her bright magenta lip for a touch of modern boldness.

Zendaya Coleman In Molly Goddard – ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ London Photocall

After the ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Madrid photocall, Zendaya Coleman was back in action on the blue carpet for the movie’s London photocall the next day (June 15).

Designer Molly Goddard is known for her love of a tutu, and that was certainly celebrated in this Fall 2017 ensemble.

But, whereas you might equate tutus with sugary froth and ballet-pink, this sky-blue rendition put tulle in a more unorthodox light—especially when styled with the bumble black-and-yellow sweater.

I won’t say that I’m a huge fan of the look, per se. But, I do like what Zendaya’s done with it, adding the white belt for a more streamlined statement to match her white Le Silla pumps.

An Established ‘Thug Life’ ring rightfully echoed some of the girly rebel edge presented here.

Zendaya Coleman In Jonathan Simkhai – ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Madrid Photocall

Zendaya attended the ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Madrid photocall on Wednesday (June 14).

Taking a more laid-back stance to her favoured style-forward edge, she wore a spliced Jonathan Simkhai bias-cut design with matching Manolo Blahnik heels.

The periwinkle-blue colour was a knockout on her, but the dress itself had some puckering and execution issues that didn’t leave as polished of an impression as what could have been.

Would you agree?

‘Baywatch’ Berlin Photocall

The promo tour for ‘Baywatch’ continued in Berlin, Germany, where the three main ‘Baywatch’ beauties were in attendance at the film’s photocall on Tuesday (May 30).

Priyanka Chopra: Channeling a girly, pretty mood, Priyanka wore a white lace Marc Jacobs frock styled with Schutz shoes and Nirav Modi jewels. The slight high-low hemline with the extra lace in the back seemed to translate a bit oddly, like the hemline was cut incorrectly.

Alexandra Daddario
: I was a bit confused by Alexandra’s dsquared2 dress, which could have held potential if it wasn’t for the deep plunge and the booties that placed it firmly into the fall season—and quite far away from any beach vibes.

Kelly Rohrbach: Kelly kept it short and sassy in a glitzy, patterned Missoni Pre-Fall 2017 mini. A sandal would have fared better here than the pumps.

Eva Green In Stella McCartney & Alexander McQueen – ‘Based On A True Story’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Eva Green promoted her upcoming film, ‘Based On A True Story’ during Cannes Film Festival yesterday (May 27) opting for two British brands.

Photocall: Her Stella McCartney’s jumpsuit epitomizes modern sophistication. The look was made infinitely more interesting with red lip and onyx jewels.

Premiere: By nightfall, the look had turned more dramatic in Alexander McQueen. I love how the silver sequin ‘shipwreck’ embroidery black tulle Spring 2017 dress feels like it has its own story to tell. That’s always been the mystic, magic and allure of Eva. She tends to select artful red carpet looks.
