Elena Lyadova In Christian Dior – ‘Leviathan’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Elena Lyadova In Christian Dior - 'Leviathan' Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Elena Lyadova attended the photocall for ‘Leviathan’ at the 67th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, southern France this afternoon (May 23).

The Russian actress wore a Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2014 ensemble featuring a portrait-printed black wool-crepe tunic with a curved high neckline, skinny straps, and a draped angled back hem that split to show off a cut-out back. The top was paired with wide-leg wool-crepe trousers which were way too long.

You may remember that Camilla Belle wore this same look back in February.

Kinda disappointed by all the re-runs during this festival – with the exclusion of Aishwarya Rai, of course.

Blake Lively In Vionnet – L’Oreal Photocall

Blake Lively In Vionnet - L'Oreal Photocall

On Sunday (May 18) Blake Lively attended a L’Oreal photocall in her role as ambassador for the brand during the 67th Cannes Film Festival.

Wearing a summery look, the actress donned a Vionnet white jersey T-shirt styled with an aqua-green pleated skirt with a front slit she made good use of.

Via the slit we get to see her striking footwear.

I adore these Sophia Webster ‘Cleo’ orange pumps which feature a black and white butterfly detail at the heel; you may remember we saw these beauties on Nina Dobrev back in January .

I would’ve loved to have seen a picture of her standing; I’m sure her pose would’ve ensured the shoes and slit were firmly on display.

Charlotte Gainsbourg In Louis Vuitton – ‘Incompresa’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Charlotte Gainsbourg In Louis Vuitton - 'Incompresa' Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Charlotte Gainsbourg attended the ‘Incompresa’ photocall during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival earlier this afternoon (May 22) on a wet day in Cannes, France.

The French actress gave us no surprises, wearing a look from the recently presented Louis Vuitton Resort 2015 collection, selecting their ‘Grand-Prix’ knitted silk dress – which was sheer enough to reveal her underwear – accented with a blue leather belt.

While this won’t be regarded as a big deal or even a faux pas by the actress, she really should’ve reconsidered her LV leather sandals as they are making her look like she has cankles.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Victoria Beckham – 25th Anniversary Magnum Short Film Launch

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Victoria Beckham - 25th Anniversary Magnum Short Film Launch

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the latest celeb to make an appearance during Cannes Film Festival, but she’s not there to promote a movie; she is there to launch the 25th anniversary Magnum short film (shot earlier this month), which took place earlier today (May 12).

The British model wore a sporty triangle harness Victoria Beckham Spring 2014 grey dress which sculpts a feminine fit-and-flare silhouette in the most modern way.

the hem hitting at the thigh, this light-grey piece had an almightily leg-lengthening effect, especially when matched with those nude-tone Christian Louboutin ‘Iriza’ pumps.

We have seen a few of these Victoria Beckham dresses hitting the red carpet; however, Rosie is the only one to opt for the white runway belt.

Smoky eyes, a perfect pout and slicked-back tresses completed her look.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear 1

With all the focus on the glitz of the gowns at the 67th annual Cannes Film Festival, it’s easy to overlook the handsome group of guys who are also making the rounds in Cannes and beyond. Here’s a highlight of some of their looks.

Channing Tatum: The actor-hunk joined the glamorous set at the Cannes Film Festival ‘Foxcatcher’ premiere on Monday (May 19). He was incredibly dapper in a Gucci black peak lapel, one-button Signoria tuxedo with a white evening shirt, black silk bowtie and black patent leather lace-up shoes.

John Legend: Accompanying Chrissy Teigen at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 18) in Las Vegas, Nevada, the singer also stood out in a Gucci Spring/Summer 2014 notch-lapel, two-button new palma jacket in a navy print, paired with a matching navy printed cotton shirt, dark Lanvin trousers, Jimmy Choo shoes and a Piaget watch.

Robert Pattinson: At the ‘Maps To The Stars’ Cannes Film Festival premiere on Monday (May 19), the actor again opted for black, donning a Dior Homme wool and silk satin two-button tuxedo, an oxford cotton shirt, a silk grosgrain tie, and black leather shoes. Despite the monochromatic statement, this polished look had me just as captivated as a colourful one would.

‘Lost River’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

'Lost River' Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Ryan Gosling, Christina Hendricks and Matt Smith attended the ‘Lost River’ photocall during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this afternoon (May 20) in Cannes, France.

Ryan Gosling: It’s the one we’ve all be waiting for. For some, more so than Cate Blanchett and Blake Lively. Ryan smouldered his way through the photocall this morning looking very handsome in a light-blue shirt and brown trousers. While this look isn’t on a par with his Cannes 2011 Ferragamo look, it’s event appropriate and still swoon-worthy.

Christina Hendricks: Dear Christina, I really want you to blow me away tonight. While I expect you to be wearing black – again – I really hope you at least read the Cannes Film Festival handbook as written by the RCFA readers and myself entitled “Go Big or Go Home”. I have my fingers crossed that you will wear Christian Siriano, as he always dresses you so well. On this occasion she wore a Dior Resort 2015 black suit with Oroton ‘Sepia’ bow pumps.

Matt Smith: The British actor wore a laidback look featuring a cool-blue shirt, checked blazer and navy trousers courtesy of Thom Sweeney. Navy loafers couldn’t be a more perfect way to round out this look.

Marion Cotillard In Maison Martin Margiela Couture – ‘Two Days, One Night’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Marion Cotillard In Maison Martin Margiela Couture - 'Two Days, One Night' Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Marion Cotillard made her first appearance at the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this morning (May 20) for the ‘Two Days, One Night’ photocall in Cannes, France.

The French actress is sure to wear Dior for tonight’s premiere, which is a safer bet than Monica Bellucci wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana dress, so she opted to showcase her style in a more vibrant way at this morning’s event.

Wearing a fully beaded multi-coloured high-neck Maison Martin Margiela Spring 2014 Couture dress, this, I believe, is the real Marion.

She loves to take a risk and step outside the box, when given free rein. The Mary Katrantzou frock she wore recently is a testament to that fact.

This look is interesting to say the least. I can’t say I love the look 100%, but I’m thankful it’s not a tent dress.

Julianne Moore In Nina Ricci - 'Maps To The Stars' Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Julianne Moore attended the ‘Maps To The Stars’ Cannes Film Festival photocall this morning (May 19) in Cannes, France with co-star Mia Wasikowska.

The actress wore a breezy blue-hued Nina Ricci Fall 2014 high-neck, long-sleeved chiffon dress.

Despite the label, this is a perfect summery look, made that much more season appropriate by her strappy nude Christian Louboutin ‘Gwynitta’ sandals.

Windswept tresses and Chopard jewels completed her look.
