Menswear Midweek Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick menswear catch up, with some of the Tony Awards attendees we missed.

Channing Tatum: The actor joined his lovely wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum on the red carpet for the ’22 Jump Street’ LA premiere on Tuesday (June 10). He donned a three-piece charcoal-grey Dolce & Gabbana suit styled with a striped shirt and slim tie

Jonah Hill: Channing’s co-star caught my eye wearing an ink-blue suit, opting not to wear a co-ordinating tie, but selecting brown instead. Perhaps in theory it shouldn’t work, but it does for Jonah.

Ben McKenzie: The actor joined Diane Kruger and Jordana Brewster on the red carpet for the 13th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball on Saturday (June 7). The actor donned a Z Zegna burgundy two-button peak-lapel suit with a striped tie and matching lace-up shoes. Aside from the colour, I love the slim fit and perfect pant length.

Menswear Weekend Roundup

The past few days were packed with a range of menswear looks, heavy on the formal tux angle with a few more colourful options thrown in for good measure. Here, a look at the weekend’s handsome set of guys.

Zachary Quinto: A presenter at the 68th annual Tony Awards, the actor dressed for the occasion in a Thom Sweeney three-piece, black wool tuxedo, paired with a white cotton dress shirt and black silk bow tie. David Yurman black onyx shirt studs pulled the look together with an added note of polish.

Djimon Hounsou: Bringing a breath of fresh blue to the red carpet of the ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’ Los Angeles premiere, Djimon wore his beautifully hued Calvin Klein Collections suit with equally well-styled accessories, including an incredible pair of navy Christian Louboutin loafers, Martin Katz cufflinks, and a Montblanc timepiece.

Daniel Radcliffe
: In attendance at the Tony Awards supporting his play, ‘The Cripple of Inishmaan,’ Daniel was dapper in an Ermenegildo Zegna Made-to-Measure one-button, satin peak-lapel tuxedo in midnight navy—a great departure from the traditional black colour. A matching bow tie, white dress shirt, and KG Kurt Geiger ‘Anton’ shoes finished the look.

'Belle' London Premiere Menswear Roundup

At the ‘Belle’ London premiere, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Amma Asante were joined on the red carpet at BFI Southbank on Thursday (June 5) by a trio of handsome men, all dressed to the nines in Burberry Tailoring. In fact, the guys might have outshone the girls here.

Tom Felton: The British actor was dapper in a charcoal-gray three-piece windowpane suit, that was completed by the polish of a matching gray tie, white dress shirt and black loafers.

Sam Reid: Giving us a welcome punch of more vibrant colour, the actor suited up in bright navy, complementing his jacket and trousers with a baby-blue tie, printed pocket square and shiny black shoes.

James Norton: Also going for gray, James flashed a sultry stare in a warmer variation in his three-piece suit; the slight sheen of which was balanced by a dark patterned tie and matte black loafers.

Menswear Roundup

Here is a quick menswear roundup.

Channing Tatum: The actor attended the New York screening of ’22 Jump Street’ on Wednesday (June 4) wearing an Armani grey checked suit styled with a grey shirt and tie plus black Kurt Geiger ‘Grant’ shoes.

Zachary Levi: The actor attended the Theatre World Awards on Monday (June 2) wearing a two-tone moss-green Vivienne Westwood Man Fall 2014 suit styled with a white shirt, green tie and brown patent-leather shoes. I love Westwood’s classic suits with a twist.

Ansel Elgort: The young actor joined his co-star Shailene Woodley for ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ New York premiere wearing a Prada Uomo Fall 2014 suit. I love the colours here, marrying denim-blue with two shades of rose-pink.

Glamour Women of the Year Awards Menswear Roundup3

It wasn’t only beautiful women attending the Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Tuesday (June 3) in London; here is a quick look at the fellas.

Samuel L Jackson: As my mother would say, be careful what you wish for. I’m always harping on about menswear being a black, navy and grey affair, but here the actor shuns that trend, opting for a turquoise suit with a green print shirt, green satin tie and white slippers. Well, at least he tried something different.

Ryan Reynolds: The actor was on hand to present the Icon award to Dame Helen Mirren. Ryan looked very dapper wearing a Brunello Cucinelli blue herringbone suit with a striped tie styled with a white pocket square and brown shoes.
