Brit Marling In L’Wren Scott – ‘The East’ Brooklyn Screening

Brit Marling In L'Wren Scott - 'The East' Brooklyn Screening

Brit Marling zigged and zagged on the red carpet of ‘The East’ screening at The Nitehawk Cinema in Brooklyn, New York.

The actress got graphic in a L’Wren Scott Spring 2013 headmistress dress. Strictly tailored in grey-and-white stripes, the look boldly broke the rules with a kapow flash of jagged black paneling.

Studded Valentino pumps matched the rebel spirit of the dress, not that I didn’t also appreciate the zing of the runway’s dual-tone shoes that mimicked the sharp yin-and-yang pattern of the dress.

An effortless, piece-y updo and light rose lip offset the hard edges.

This is one ugly dress, the way the black panel is cutting into her body is just scary, in combination with jail stripes it’s all plain awful. Perhaps a slightly shorter length, a thin belt and a red lippie would’ve improved the look somewhat.

It is like seeing Kristen Steward in blonde. Pretty girls who don’t know how to stand and seem like they’re bored, and of course do not promote the clothes they are wearing..
Of course, this is not a beautiful dress to begin with.

I like the zig zag idea, but she really should have gone for the white version, kept the cute shoes, and the belt.

This is one ugly, unflattering dress, from the style to the length to the jagged panelling.

I usually love L’Wren Scott dresses but this dress is so unflattering and ugly.
